Marie Trehey
Marie Rose Trehey, infant daughter of George J. and Chere Lee Trehey of Annapolis, died Dec. 21, 2000 at Special Beginnings Birth and Women's Center in Arnold.
She was the sister of Joseph Lee Trehey. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Ave., with burial to follow in Lakemont Cemetery in Davidsonville.

Katrina Williams
Katrina Charlene "Trina" Williams, a 20-year resident of Annapolis, died Dec. 21, 2000 of liver failure at the Joseph Ritchie Hospice House in Baltimore after an illness of several years. She was 36.
Born May 26, 1964, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of James and Frances Williams of Annapolis.
Ms. Williams once attended Annapolis High School and she enjoyed singing and dancing.
In addition to her parents, survivors include two children, Darrell Williams-Makell and Erielle Williams-Makell, both of Annapolis; five siblings, Kelvin, James Jr. and Gary Williams and Sheila Makell and Pandra Cooke, all of Annapolis.
A Christian wake service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m., at the Fowler United Methodist Church, 816 Bestgate Road in Annapolis. Interment will be in Annapolis Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Reese Mortuary.
George Harrison
George E. "Hank" Harrison, 89, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died of lung cancer Dec. 22, 2001 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Fort Howard.
Mr. Harrison was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Eastport. During World War II he served as a chief boatswain's mate in the Navy.
He retired in 1968 from the Naval Academy, where he was supervisor of the upholstery shop.
Mr. Harrison was a charter member of Chapter 3 of the Disabled American Veterans in Annapolis.
His wife of 56 years, Myrtle A. Harrison, died in 1995.
Surviving are one sister, Virginia Hahn of Deland, Fla., and two grandsons.
He was the stepfather of the late Bette Jane Church and the brother of the late Royston Harrison.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Terese Chilla
Terese E. Husinez Chilla, 83, of Severna Park, died Dec. 21, 2001 at North Arundel Hospital in Glen Burnie of complications from a stroke.
Born and raised in Hammond, Ind., Mrs. Chilla lived in Gary, Ind., for 30 years. She graduated in 1935 from Hammond High School.
She was a homemaker most of her life, and had moved here about 16 months ago.
She was married in 1939 to Benedict A. Chilla, who died in 1999.
Surviving are one son, Allan Chilla of Pasadena; one sister, Helene Jordan of Calumet City, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
Matilda Danoff
Matilda "Mattie" Price Danoff, 93, of Arnold, formerly of Chicago and Paris, died of natural causes Dec. 20, 2001 at Future Care-Chesapeake nursing home in Arnold.
A homemaker, Mrs. Danoff was born and raised in Chicago, where she was an accomplished artist who worked in watercolors and acrylics. Her works were displayed in several exhibits. She was a member of various arts and charitable organizations.
A resident of Arnold for the past six years, she was the widow of Maurice Danoff.
Surviving are two sons, Gordon Danoff of Arnold and Michael Danoff of New York City; one daughter, Judith Kultermann of New York; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private, with arrangements by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Michael Feifer
Michael Joseph Feifer Jr., 57, of Stevensville, died Dec. 21, 2001 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The cause of death was not available.
Born on Jan. 23, 1943, in Shamokin, Pa., Mr. Feifer was the son of Julia Kiddon of Elysburg, Pa., and the late Michael Feifer. He was raised in Woodlyn, Pa., attended St. James' Boys School and graduated from Drexel University, where he majored in business.
He worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a financial trainer and adviser, retiring after 25 years of service. Then he worked for the state of Maryland as assistant director of banking.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7941, where he held various offices, including grand knight. He also was a fourth-degree member of the Father Mosley Assembly 1929, the Kent Island Elks and St. Christopher's Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Diane Feifer; two daughters, Michelle Zinn of Marriottsville in Howard County and Patti Feifer of Stevensville; two sons, David N. and Michael S. Feifer, both of Stevensville; a stepdaughter, Natalie Buellis of Barclay in Queen Anne's County; a stepson, Christopher Wemmer of Jupiter, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Shrewsbury of Palmdale, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 106 Shamrock Road, Chester. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Chester, with burial in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Jeannette Meade
Jeannette Russell Meade, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died of natural causes Dec. 21, 2001 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Meade was born on Oct. 10, 1922, and was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and also took care of others. As a young woman, she was a nurse's aide at the old Annapolis Emergency Hospital, now Anne Arundel Medical Center. She crocheted hundreds of little knit hats for newborns at the hospital.
In bowling, she and her team won many trophies over the years. She was also a talented cake decorator, creating wedding, birthday and holiday cakes for friends and relatives as well as professionally.
Mrs. Meade was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eastport.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Arnold Meade, whom she married on April 4, 1941; two sons, Richard A. and David A. Meade, and a daughter, Janet L. Covington, all of Annapolis; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of Dwight A. Meade, who died Aug. 19, 1990, and the sister of the late William Hall, Louise Frantum, Mildred Thomas and Gloria Finn.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Michael Pinder
Michael Kemp Pinder Sr., 49, of Chester, died Dec. 21, 2001 at Memorial Hospital in Easton. The cause of death was not available.
Born in Chester on Nov. 10, 1951, he was the son of Alice Anna Thomas of Chester and the late Addison Kemp Pinder. He was raised in Chester and attended school in Stevensville.
He was a self-employed waterman in the Chester area and then a piledriver with T&M Piledrivers, until he started dealing antiques, which were his passion.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Michael K. Pinder Jr. and Clinton Pinder, and one daughter, Patty L. Pinder, all of Chester; a sister, Dallas Cook of Millington; a stepbrother, Harry Porter of Chester; and one grandson.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 106 Shamrock Road, Chester, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Chesterfield Cemetery in Centreville.
Nelson Roane
Henry Nelson Roane, 77, of Annapolis, and of Virginia in his youth, died Dec. 21, 2001 of respiratory failure at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1923, in Baltimore, Mr. Roane owned his own carpet business. He retired as a carpet salesman from Sears, Roebuck and Co. after an injury.
He was a member of Edgewater Baptist Church for 25 years before joining Weems Creek Baptist Church. His interests included gardening, raising flowers and vegetables.
On June 8, 1952, he was married to Edith L. Roane.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, George D. Roane of Denver; four daughters, Ruth C. Myer, Mary C. and Patricia A. Hannon and Carol L. Tumminello, all of Annapolis; and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edgewater Baptist Church, 38 W. Central Ave. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Charles Wilson
Charles Eugene Wilson, 50, of Baltimore, previously of Annapolis, died of a stroke Dec. 18, 2001 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore.
Nicknamed "Feet," Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Annapolis. He obtained a bachelor of religious studies degree and a master's of religious education degree from the Maryland Theological Seminary.. He also was working on a master's in religious studies.
He worked for the Baltimore Department of Public Works and served as an associate minister of Strong Tower Church in Baltimore. He counseled people who had various problems.
His hobbies were reading, swimming and sports.
Surviving are two children, Tamarla Wilson of Washington state and Trenton Wilson of Annapolis; his brothers, Keith Wilson of Brooklyn and Drew Wilson of Glen Burnie; one sister, Cassandra Wilson of Glen Burnie; several other brothers, Reginald, Maurice, Rodney, Terry, Jeffrey and Derrick Wilson, and one other sister, Teria Wilson, all of the Baltimore-Annapolis area; his grandmother, Emma Williamson of Severna Park; and his fiancee, Barbara Boyd of Baltimore.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with a Christian wake at 10:30 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 31 W. Washington St. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, with arrangements by Reese and Sons Mortuary.
Margaret Bray
Margaret Molloy Bray, 81, a resident of Severna Park for 31 years, died of cancer at her daughter's home at Cub Hill in Baltimore County on Dec. 19, 2001 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Bray was born Oct. 8, 1920, and raised in Baltimore and was a 1938 graduate of the former Seton High School.
She was employed by Reed Hayden as a bookkeeper until her retirement.
She was a member of the Severna Park Garden Club.
Her husband, Horace A. Bray Sr., died in 1995.
Surviving are her son, Horace Bray Jr. of Grasonville; two daughters, P. Dale Cannella of Cub Hill and Jane Reillo of Baltimore; her brother, William Malloy of Parkville; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Burial will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Middle River.

Anne Cronin
AnneMarie "Annie" Cronin, 45, of Churchton and formerly of Crofton, died of cancer Dec. 19, 2001 at her home after a six-month illness.
Mrs. Cronin was born April 8, 1956, in Prince George's County, and graduated in 1973 from DuVall High School.
She was a hair stylist in Deale and Crofton for more than 20 years. Her interests included skiing, boating, the beach, dancing and singing.
In 1981 she was married to Dennis Paul Griffin, who died in 1982. On April 5, 1987, she married Scott Allan Cronin.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Cory Allan Cronin, and one daughter, Shannon Ashley Cronin, of Churchton; her parents, Glenn Rhodes Smith of Butler, Pa., and Cleone Marie Smith-Dade of Churchton; one brother, Tom Smith of Historic Plant City, Fla.; and three sisters, Glenda Schaffner of Butler, Diane Alferez of Brandywine and Lisa Bates of Churchton.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

Charles Greeley
Private services and burial were held recently for Charles Edward Greeley, 87, of Naples, Fla., who died Dec. 11, 2001 at Arden Couty, an assisted living facility, in Naples.
Born in Osakis, Minn., he lived in Annapolis for 33 years before moving to Florida last year.
Mr. Greeley got his mechanical engineering degree from the University of North Dakota and in 1940 joined the Bureau of Ships at the Navy Department in Washington, D.C. During World War II he served in the Merchant Marine.
After the war he was a professor of mechanical engineering at George Washington University where he headed the Mechanical Laboratory for 10 years. Later he was a consultant to several engineering firms. He retired from Atlantic Research Corp.
He was a life member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
An avid sailor, he was a pioneer of multihull vessels on the Chesapeake Bay and a charter member of the Chesapeake Cruising Multihull Association, a former member of the Annapolis Yacht Club and the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Naples.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Elinore Greeley; one stepson, Larry Linderer of Naples; one sister, Dorothy Greeley Cotton of Walnut Creek, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

William Post Jr.
Retired Navy Rear Adm. William Schuyler Post Jr., 93, who won the Navy Cross as a submarine commander during World War II, died of heart failure Dec. 17, 2001 at Ginger Cove retirement community in Annapolis.
Adm. Post was born Aug. 6, 1908, in Los Angeles, Calif., and had lived in Annapolis for the past 15 years.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1925, was appointed to the Naval Academy in 1927 and graduated in 1930. After service aboard the cruiser USS Raleigh in the Asiatic Fleet, he attended submarine school. From 1939 to 1941 he was an aide and flag lieutenant to Rear Adm. Walter M. Vernou, commander of Battleship Division 2.
During World War II he commanded the submarines USS Gudgeon and USS Spot. Later he commanded Submarine Division 282.
After the war, he served in Naval Intelligence, commanded Submarine Squadron 10 and attended the Naval War College. He commanded the attack transport USS Cavalier in Korea and the heavy cruiser, USS Newport News.
In 1958 he was promoted to rear admiral and served as deputy director for intelligence on the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1958 to 1961. He was deputy commander of the Military Sea Transport Service when he retired in 1965.
His decorations included the Navy Cross with two gold stars, the Silver Star with one gold star and the Legion of Merit with Combat V and one gold star.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Roddy Post; two sons, Philip Sidney Post of Mercersburg, Pa., and William Schuyler Post III of Litchfield, Conn.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Margaret "Peg" Fickling.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Andrew's Chapel at the Naval Academy, with burial in the Naval Academy Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor Funderal Home.
