RIDGELEY, W.Va. -- A memorial service for Mrs. M. Madalean (Zollner) Cuppett of Ridgeley, that died on Jan. 21, 2001, at the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 30 Knobley St., Ridgeley, on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Edward Dickel officiating.
At her request, Mrs. Cuppett donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown. This gift promotes the medical education and research of the University Medical Program.
The family requests that any expressions of sympathy be given to the Calvary United Methodist Church, 30 Knobley St., Ridgeley, WV.
ROBERT J. MINNICK
FROSTBURG -- Robert J. Minnick, 69, of 11519 Dobbin Drive, NW, Frostburg, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on July 8, 1931, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Marion Minnick. Mr. Minnick was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robert Minnick and Gary J. Minnick, who died on Aug. 9, 1999; and one brother, James Minnick.
Mr. Minnick was retired from the Winner Brother's Coal Company and formerly worked at Kaiser Refractories.
Mr. Minnick was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1273, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 348, all of Frostburg.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel (Caton) Minnick; two daughters, Carolyn Williams and husband James, Frostburg, and Teresa Topper and husband Dave, Finzel; one son, Joe Minnick and wife Christine, Frostburg; one brother, Raymond Minnick and wife Mary Ann, Frostburg; one sister, Ilene Baker, Eckhart; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Michael's Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Paul Byrnes as celebrant.
Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery.
ANNA B. HOLSINGER
ECKHART -- Anna B. Holsinger, 78, of Eckhart, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at home.
Born on Aug. 21, 1922, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Nellie (Hughes) Clise. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Holsinger.
Surviving are two sons, William G. Holsinger and wife Bobbie Jean, Eckhart, and Dave Holsinger and Naomi Hitchins, Rawlings; four daughters, Amelia Turner and husband Paul, Ellicott City, Brenda Williams and husband Robert, Coral Springs, Fla., Rhonda Johnson and husband Robert, Eckhart, and Kathy DeCesare and husband Mark, Gaithersburg; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 West Main St., Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Interment wil be in Eckhart Cemetery.
STANLEY W. TASKER
MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK -- Stanley W. "Bucky" Tasker, 57, of M Street, Mountain Lake Park, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at his home.
Born on Oct. 5, 1943, in Westernport, he was the son of the late Stanley E. and Dessie M. (Sims) Tasker.
He was a former maintenance man for the Point View Inn, Deep Creek Lake, and the Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
He is survived by his wife, Patti A. (Murphy) Tasker; one daughter, Terri L. Tasker, at home; three sons, James A. Tasker, Oakland, Jerry L. Tasker, Mountain Lake Park, and Timothy W. Tasker, at home; two sisters, Ramona Schmidt, Swanton, and Sharon Bosley, Oakland; five brothers, Roger Tasker, Ronald Tasker and David Tasker, all of Cross Timbers, Mich., Daniel Tasker, Elk Garden, and Steven Tasker, Mt. Union, Pa.; a special friend, Antonio Pellot, Oakland; and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Byron Mayberry officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
AUDREY V. ROHRBAUGH
BURLINGTON, W.Va. -- Audrey V. Rohrbaugh, 76, of Route 1, Box 143, Burlington, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on July 1, 1924, in Antioch, she was a daughter of the late William Snowden and Sylvia Alice (Roberts) Cannon. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Douglas James Rohrbaugh; three brothers, Carl, Otto and Harry Cannon; and two sisters, Myrtle Cannon and Bertie Staggs.
Mrs. Rohrbaugh was a homemaker and a member of the Harness Run Church of the Brethren, Burlington.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Emmett E. Rohrbaugh; two sons, Raymond E. Rohrbaugh and wife JoAnn, Burlington, and Melvin E. Rohrbaugh and wife Connie, Burlington; three daughters, Frances L. Dolly and husband George, New Creek, Nancy M. Champ and husband Carl, Old Fields, and Faye A. Wilson, Romney; two brothers, Oscar Cannon and wife Sharon, Keyser, and Robert Cannon and wife Madeline, Burlington; one sister, Leila Kesner, Burlington; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Davis Cemetery, Antioch.

JULIA L. MCDOWELL
BURLINGTON, W.Va. -- Julia L. McDowell, 70, of Route 1, Box 182-A, Burlington, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at the Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.
Born on Aug. 27, 1930, at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late James L. and Laura C. (Kitzmiller) Shay. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and Lewis Shay; and a sister, Thelma Green.
Mrs. McDowell and her husband formerly owned and operated McDowell's Grocery at Burlington. She also was formerly employed at the G.C. Murphy Store in Keyser and worked 12 years with the Clerk of the Court of Mineral County. She was a 1948 graduate of Bruce High School and was valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Markwood United Methodist Church, Burlington, and was an active supporter of the Burlington Ruritan Club.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Raymond H. McDowell; two sons, Michael L. McDowell and wife Robin, Keyser, W.Va., and Edward L. "Farmer" McDowell and wife Rhonda, Burlington, W.Va.; one daughter, Patsy R. Koontz and husband Jim, Keyser, W.Va.; two brothers, Luther Shay and wife Polly, Pittsburgh, Pa., and John Shay and wife Shirley, Morgantown, W.Va.; three sisters, Jean Steward and husband Ray, Keyser, W.Va., Alta Cannon and husband Granville, Selbyville, Del., and Joanne Beavers and husband Woody, Keyser, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Helen Shay, Grantsville, Md.; brother-in-law, Charles Green, Williamsport, Md.; four grandchildren, Heather McDowell, Micah McDowell, Christina Koontz and Laci McDowell; two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler Fraley; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Morgan.

Interment will be in the Thrush Cemetery, Antioch, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND -- Jacob Matthew Nelson, infant son of Emery and Brein Nelson, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Jacob was born Feb. 6, 2001, in Morgantown.
In addition to his parents, surviving are one sister, Aubrey Nelson, and one brother, Alexander Nelson, both at home; maternal grandparents, Kathy and Mike Duncan, Cumberland; paternal grandparents, Debbie and Terry McCullough, LaVale, and Jack and Patti Nelson, Cumberland; maternal great-grandmother; Helen Jones, LaVale; and paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Vance, Cumberland.
A private memorial service will be held for close family and friends.
