CLARA I. GILL
FROSTBURG -- Clara I. Gill, 90, formerly of Frostburg, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She had been a resident of Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing.
Mrs. Gill was born in Harbin, China, of Russian parents.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry C. Gill; and one daughter, Mamie Asbury.
Surviving are her daughter, Victoria Miller and husband Raymond of Carlos; three sons, John Gill of Ohio, Alex Gill and wife Katheryn of Alvin, Texas, and Patrick M. Gill, whereabouts unknown; six grandsons, Vincent Wolodkin and wife Regina of Ellicott City, Gregory Wolodkin and wife Cindy of Sutton, Mass., Mark Wolodkin and wife Linda of Cumberland, Butch Gill and wife Anita of Alvin, Texas, Kevin Gill of Fort Washington, and Trevor Gill of Fort Washington; four granddaughters, Debra Earles and husband Larry of Alvin, Texas, Cindy Stewart and husband Alton of Alvin, Texas, Ginger Bolinski and husband Eric of Ocoee, Fla. and Denise Hoffman and husband Tom of Melborne, Fla.; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.

AGNES I. HIGGINS
FROSTBURG -- Agnes Isabell Higgins, 81, of 17510 Top Row Road, Frostburg, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born April 4, 1919, in Barton, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Emma (Porter) Schramm. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Higgins in 1965; seven brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Higgins retired from the Celanese Corp. in 1976. She was a member of Vale Summit United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Higgins, Oakland, and Connie Higgins, Friendsville; one sister, Doris Schramm, Pleasantville, Ohio; four sisters-in-law, Marion Everline, Vale Summit, June Higgins, Vale Summit, Marie Barnard, Lonaconing, and Sally Schramm, Lonaconing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The body will be cremated.
Friends will be received at the Vale Summit United Methodist Church on Sunday from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the church on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Daymond Schmuck and the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Vale Summit United Methodist Cemetery.

LEE ANN JONOSHA
WESTERNPORT -- Lee Ann Jonosha, 71, of 405 Poplar St., Westernport, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at her residence.
Born in Westernport on Oct. 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Carl and Adaline N. (Coyle) Jonosha. A brother, James Carl Jonosha also preceded her in death.
Miss Jonosha was a self-employed domestic worker. She was a member of Victory Post #155 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Queens Point #6775 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Miss Jonosha was an avid outdoors person and loved to fish. She attended Bruce High School and was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are three sisters, Maxine Raysinger, Eileen Poland and Janet Angle, all of Westernport; several nieces and nephews, James Raysinger, Carol Kenny, Donna Michael, Jennifer Raines, Harriett Russo, Janet Chanilall, and Mark Dawson, all of whom she helped raise; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
At Lee Ann's request, her body will be cremated.
Graveside memorial services will be held at the Philos Cemetery, Westernport, at a later date.

EDWIN W. CROSTEN SR.
CUMBERLAND -- Edwin W. "Cub" Crosten Sr., 75, of Cumberland, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at the Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster.
Born on April 21, 1925, in Montrose, W.Va., he was the son of the late James Earl and Alice Nancy (Robinson) Crosten. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Virginia (Sell) Crosten; a daughter, Margaret Crosten; a brother, Harold Nestor; and a sister, Lorraine Sullivan.
Mr. Crosten was a Lutheran by faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Crosten was a self-employed contractor and a member of the Cement Finishers Local #296.
Surviving are three daughters, Elaine Freedman, Bethel, Del., Nancy Milliken, Westminster, and Lisa Markey, Wellington, Fla.; two sons, Edwin "Ned" Crosten Jr., and James Crosten, both of Cumberland; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jimmie Schwartz officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be in Leonard "Buddy" Crosten, Geary Milliken, Steve Freedman, Adam Freedman, Andy Crosten and Matt Crosten.
Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the Local Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

LARRY C. GRAY
CHICAGO, Ill. -- Larry C. Gray, 59, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, in Chicago.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday, March 3, 2001, at 9 a.m.

WILLIAM E. ROUNDS
BLOOMINGTON -- William Edgar Rounds, 75, of 26 Howard Ave., Bloomington, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland.
Born in Bond, on March 26, 1925, he was the son of the late Salem Edgar and Stella Mae (Wilt) Rounds. He was also preceded in death by a son, Richard William Rounds.
Mr. Rounds was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. He retired from Westvaco Corp. in 1990, having been a maintenance mechanic. Mr. Rounds was a member, head usher and deacon of the Westernport Church of the Brethren. He was also a member of Queens Point VFW #6775, McCoole.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Helen (Hartman) Rounds; one son, Joseph Rounds and wife Karen of Swanton; two daughters, Brenda McIntyre and husband Paul of Mt. Lake Park, and Joyce Williams and husband John of Mt. Lake Park; four brothers, Albert Rounds of Virginia, Ellis Rounds of Alliance, Ohio, Harold Rounds of Mesa, Ariz., and Paul Rounds of Finzel; five grandchildren, Shawn, Paulette, Deanna, Angie and Chrissy; and one great-granddaughter, Aryssa.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Westernport Church of the Brethren on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William Shimer and the Rev. Ervin Huston officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
