HARRY R. WEIMER
AVILTON -- Harry Robert Weimer, 82, of Avilton, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Center, Frostburg.
Born Nov. 8, 1918, in Salisbury, Pa., he was a son of the late William Weimer and Elizabeth (Merrbach) Weimer Brown. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Violet (Garlitz) Weimer, on June 23, 1995; three brothers, John, Christopher and Charles Weimer; and two sisters, Anna Shortt and Clara Weimer.
Mr. Weimer was retired from Winner Brothers Coal Co. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West Salisbury, Pa., and formerly Old St. Ann's Shrine, Avilton. He also was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include two sons, Robert S. Weimer, Huntingtown, Md., and Michael H. Weimer, Lebanon, Pa.; five daughters, Judith A. Baker, Winchester, Va., Sharyn M. Grimm, Clarksburg, Md., Barbara W. Prichard, Ruckersville, Va., Janine J. Weimer, Avilton, and Joann M. Warnick, Grantsville; one brother, Harvey Brown, Salisbury, Pa.; two sisters, Norma Thomas, Somerset, Pa., and Caroline Geisweidt, Meyersdale, Pa.; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Old St. Ann's Shrine with the Rev. William Moody officiating.
Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Ann's cemetery Fund.
VICTORIA A. PLYLER
BAHAMA, N.C. -- Victoria A. Plyler, 39, of Bahama, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
She was born July 11, 1961, in Chelsea, Mass., and was a daughter of Fred E. Stemple and Mary (Sears) Stemple of McHenry, Md.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl D. Plyler Jr.; two daughters, Anna Plyler and Audrey Plyler, both at home; one brother, Fred E. Stemple Jr., Virginia Beach, Va.; and her paternal grandmother, Eleanor Stemple of Oakland, Md.
Visitation will be private.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, Md., on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Rob Culler officiating.
Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
The family suggests memorials take the form of contributions to the Adult BMT Program, Duke Hospital, Box 3961, Durham, NC 27710.
R. WATSON DEHART
LAVALE -- R. Watson DeHart, 82, of LaVale, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at his residence.
Born May 14, 1918, he was the son of the late Eric H. DeHart and Credie A. DeHart.
Mr. DeHart was the owner/operator of A.B. Dick Product Co. of Cumberland and Hagerstown. He retired in 1981 with 35 years of service. He was a charter member of the LaVale United Methodist Church and a member of the LaVale Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nadine (Talbott) DeHart; two sons, Lynn W. DeHart and wife Susan, and Wayne A. DeHart and wife Polly; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul H. DeHart and Marshall C. DeHart.
A Celebration of the Life of R. Watson DeHart will be held at the LaVale United Methodist Church, National Highway and Woodlawn Avenue, on Saturday, March 17, 2001, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bernadette M. Ross officiating.
Friends will be received immediately following the service.
The family has requested that memorials take the form of donations to the LaVale United Methodist Church or the Western Maryland Health System Hospice Unit.

WILBUR A. MORRAL
OLDTOWN -- Wilbur A. Morral, 72, of Oldtown, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Frostburg.
Born on May 14, 1928, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Marvin Morral Sr. and Lona (Ketterman) Morral. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wade Morral, Roy Morral and Marvin Morral Jr.; and one sister, Marian Vance.
Mr. Morral was a retired heavy equipment operator working out of the Local 37 Operating Engineers. He was a life member of the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Regina Marie Morral; one daughter, Linda R. Downton and husband Robert, Frostburg; four sisters, Georgie Struckman, Ruth Crabtree, Thelma Allee and husband Bill, Helen Long and husband Paul, all of Cumberland; two brothers, Virgil Morral and wife Dorothy, Flintstone, and Cain Morral, Flintstone; one sister-in-law, Agnes Morral, Winchester Road; one brother-in-law, Gene Vance, Flintstone; one grandson, Joey L. Starkey and wife Catherine, Williamsport; two great-granddaughters, Kayleigh Rene and Jordan Lynn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Joseph DiNicola officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be his brother-in-law and his nephews.
DONALD S. MUNSIE
KEYSER, W.Va. -- Donald S. Munsie, 67, of Route 6, Box 6486, Keyser, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on Nov. 30, 1933, in Westernport, Md., he was a son of the late William and Ethel (Adams) Munsie. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Norris Munsie; and two sisters, Hilda Cosgrove and Mildred Harr.
Mr. Munsie was retired from the Westvaco Luke Mill with 36 years of service in the finishing department. He was a 1951 graduate of Bruce High School, Westernport, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a life member of the Fountain Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Boyce-Houser Post #41, American Legion, Keyser. He was also a past member of the Mineral County Muzzle Loaders and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Emma Jean (Jones) Munsie; one daughter, Rhonda L. Flanagan and husband Ben, Keyser; brother-in-law, Carl "Beanie" Harr, Keyser; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The Fountain Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Friday at 6:45 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gerry Eisenhour officiating.
Interment will be in the Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser.
MARY H. ELLIOTT
MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- Mary Harlan Dickey Elliott, 94, of Midlothian, widow of Joseph B. Elliott Sr., and daughter of the late Annie Roberts and Howard Harlan Dickey of Cumberland, Md., passed away March 13, 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann E. and her husband Warner H. Moore of Richmond, Elizabeth E. and her husband Thomas W. Cobbledick of Harborside, Maine; son, Joseph B. Elliott Jr. and his wife Katherine of Columbia, S.C., and Lynda B. Elliott of Westchester, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Elliott was a former board member of the Presbyterian Children's Village in Rosemont, Pa., and past president of the St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
