RONALD G. LYNCH
SPRINGFIELD, W.Va. -- Ronald G. Lynch, 64, of Springfield, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born on Aug. 3, 1936, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Harry and Beatrice (Shrout) Lynch. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Wagoner; and one brother, Robert Samuel Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was a former employee of General Telephone Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Elnora A. (Wagoner) Lynch; two sons, Rick Lynch and wife Susan, Winchester, Dan Lynch and wife Donna, Franklin; one daughter, Joyce Horn and husband John Jr., Springfield; seven special grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua and Stacey Lynch, Carissa and Serrina Lynch, Jared and Justin Horn; three brothers, Richard Lynch and wife Reta, Winter Park, Fla., Kenny Lynch, Baker, Marshall Lynch and wife Patricia, Ocala, Fla.; and two sisters, Wilda Lepley, Jane Malcolm and husband Don, all of Baltimore, Md.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Brother Roy Carroll, Brother Dick Bartrug and Brother Ed Floyd officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
CHARLES W. GRAHAM SR.
KINGWOOD, W.Va. -- Charles William Graham Sr., 84, of Kingwood, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at his home.
He was born on March 20, 1916, in Albright, a son of the late Cloyd M. and Martha Dixon Graham. In his early years, he was employed in logging and mining. He retired in the 1970's as a heavy equipment operator for a construction company at the Harrison Power Plant site in Shinnston. He was Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel Colleen Hornick Graham; six sons and spouses, Howard (Bill) and Nancy Graham of McHenry, Md., Ronald and Donna Graham of Beckley, Donald and Sharon Graham and Charles Jr. "Charlie" and Nancy Graham, all of Albright, Mark and Cindy Graham of Morgantown, and John Graham of Queenstown, Md.; six daughters and spouses, Janice and Howard Kraus of Albright, Viola (Polly) and Marcos Reyna of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Central America, Pamela and Keith Crank of Ripley, Mary and Bob Rininger of Morgantown, Ruth Graham of Kingwood, and Hazel and Larry Black of Oakland; three sisters, Letitia Teets of Sherman, Marvel Krygielka of Kingwood, and Joy Sypolt of Brandonville; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Graham Fultz in 1998; one infant son, Chester Wayne Graham in 1964; a grandson, Elias N. Black in 1996; a son-in-law, Roy Leon Fultz in 1994; five brothers, Paul Graham, Bruce Graham, James H. Graham, Howard S. Graham and Max E. Graham; and one sister, Jane Smith.
Friends may call at the James G. Lobb Funeral Home in Kingwood, on Wednesday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 22 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the time of the service with the Rev. Roland Nairn and the Rev. Gary Reed officiating.
Interment will follow at the Maplewood cemetery in Kingwood.

GERARD N. JENKINS
MOUNT SAVAGE -- Gerard N. "Neil" Jenkins, formerly of Mount Savage, passed away on March 13, 2001, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
He was born in Mount Savage, to the late James H. Jenkins and Dolores M. Cunningham Jenkins.
He is survived by three sons, Keith and Jeff, of Baltimore, and Jay of Laurel; a sister, Janet K. Euseppi of Little Rock; a brother, Gerald of Bowie; his special companion, Tennie Vickers of Stuttgart, Ark.; and six grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise "Peggy", and a brother, Charles.
Per his request, he was cremated and returned to MD for burial.

HARRIET B. GRANET
CUMBERLAND -- Harriet B. Granet, 49, born and raised in Cumberland, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at her home in Baltimore, after a long fight with cancer.
Ms. Granet was the daughter of Greta Granet and the late Dr. Milton Granet, both formerly of Cumberland, and was the sister and sister-in-law of Dr. Michael Granet and Dr. Carol Granet, also of Cumberland. Ms. Granet's mother now resides in Longboat Key, Fla.
At the time of her death, Ms. Granet served as principal counsel for the Maryland State Retirement System and, from time to time, appeared on behalf of the State in the Allegany County courts. She was qualified as a yoga instructor and was an outstanding golfer. She was educated in Allegany County schools and then went on to graduate from the National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C., the Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland Law School. Before joining the State Law Department, Ms. Granet was a partner in the Baltimore firm of Steinmann and Granet. She is also survived by her husband, Thomas P. Perkins, a Baltimore attorney.
A celebration of the life of Harriet Granet will be held in the garden at her home, 101 East Highfield Road, Baltimore, at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Cathedral School, Mount St. Alban, Washington, D.C. 20016-5000.
ANNA G. RASE
KINGSLAND, Ga. -- Anna Grace Rase, 72, of Kingsland, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Fla.
A native of Millpoint, W.Va., she was a resident of Kingsland for the past five months. She was a homemaker and a member of the First English Baptist church in Frostburg, Md.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Rase of Washington, D.C., and Gary Rase of Cumberland, Md.; two daughters, Carla Rase Williams of Kingsland, and Betty Rase Klipstein of Midland, Md.; five brothers, Hubert Puffenbarger, Julian Puffenbarger, Karol Puffenbarger and Billy Puffenbarger, all of Hillsboro, W.Va., Samuel Puffenbarger of Titusville, Pa.; three sisters, Mildred Swab of Titusville, Dotty Lou Poage of Lake Milton, Ohio, and Katherine Weimer of Hillsboro, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2001, from Marvin Chapel in Millpoint, W.Va., from 6 until 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2001, at 1 p.m. at the German Lutheran cemetery in Frostburg, Md., with the Rev. David Sandvick officiating.
The Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Mary's, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
HENRY J. GETSON
FEDHAVEN, Fla. -- Henry "Red" Getson, 80, formerly of Corriganville, died March 14, 2001, at his home in Florida.
Born on Feb. 10, 1921, in Corriganville, he was the son of the late Henry and Rose (Burkett) Getson.
Surviving are his wife, Addie Getson; two sisters, Helen Norris and husband, Vincent, Mount Savage and Betty Martin, Painesville, Ohio; three brothers, Earl "Bill" Getson and wife, Goldie, Corriganville; James Getson and wife, Barbara, Lake Wales, Fla.; Carl Lloyd Getson, LaVale, and a number of nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on April 11, at the St. John's United Church in Corriganville.
Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery.
RAYMOND M. ORNDORFF SR.
ELLERSLIE -- Raymond Millard "Duffy" Orndorff Sr., 87, of Old Schellsburg Road, Ellerslie, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at WMHS Sacred Heart Campus.
Born on June 16, 1913, in Mount Savage, he was a son of the late Mary Orndorff.
Surviving are his children, Raymond M. Jr. and wife Lenore, Rocky Mount, N.C., Eugene A. and wife Wilma, Damascus, Donald "Duffy" and wife Lori, Ellerslie, Georgia Lee Carder, Peoria, Ill., and Helen Ann Schoffstall and husband Jim, Salisbury; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Hogamaier, Idaho; and faithful companion, Taffy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Minerva (Hotchkiss), whom he married
on Jan. 25, 1936; a son, Ron; brothers, Ralph Orndorff, Bob Ford, and Harvey, Fred and Earl Hogamaier; and sisters, Virginia and Pearl Hogamaier.
Mr. Orndorff was the retired owner of Murray Chemical Co., Duffy's Tavern and Valley Novelty Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of LOOM #271, Kennells Mill Sportsman's Club, Goodfellowship Club, and Frostburg American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends at Point of Rocks, Md. He was fond of nature, animals, wildlife and outdoors.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Friday, March 23, 2001, from 3:30 to 5:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. and for one hour immediately prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roger L. Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
