DOLLY M. METHENY
TERRA ALTA, W.Va. -- Dolly Marie Metheny, 84, of Terra Alta, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at her home following a long illness.
She was born on May 26, 1916, in Lake Ford, a daughter of the late Bruce and Reba Teets Dodge.
She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in bookkeeping for their service station and mining operations. She was a charter member of Faith United Methodist Church at Cranesville, and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Terra Alta Homemakers. She enjoyed reading and working outdoors.
She is survived by four sons and spouses, Duwaine and Betty Metheny of Tunnelton, Ernest and Peggy Metheny, and Howard and Barbara Metheny, all of Terra Alta, Everett and Beverly Metheny of Short Gap; 10 grandchildren, Cheryl Stevens, Roger and Jerry Metheny, Gary and Kevin Metheny, Lisa Metheny Carpenter, Bradley Metheny, Kim Metheny Trujillo, Tim Metheny and Jennifer Robinson; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arlington D. Metheny, whom she married
in 1933; a daughter, Elva Lorie Metheny; and a brother, Clarence Dodge.
Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, on Monday, March 26, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday, March 28, 2001, from 10 to 11 a.m. time of service at Faith United Methodist Church, Cranesville, with the Rev. Berlin H. Wilhelm and the Rev. William Durst officiating.
Interment will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Hoy Run.

CUMBERLAND -- Friends for William W. Conley will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

CUMBERLAND -- George Harold Kinsley Sr., formerly of the Kensington-Algonquin died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, where he had been residing.
Services will be conducted at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles A. Erzkus officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
M. MAXINE BOBO
KEYSER, W.Va. -- M. Maxine Bobo, 75, of 220 South Water St., Keyser, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born on Dec. 6, 1925, in Purgitsville, she was a daughter of the late Richard C. and Leola A. (Hottinger) Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William R. Reynolds, an infant brother, Douglas Reynolds; and a sister, Dorwina A. Ryan. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Bobo was retired from the Anchor Glass Company, Keyser, with 14 years of service. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Keyser.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra A. Leilich and husband Scott, with whom she lived, Keyser, and Rhonda J. Petitt, Charlotte, N.C.; one brother-in-law, Glen A. Ryan, a resident of Heartland of Keyser; two grandchildren, Meghan Neal and Scotty Leilich; two great-grandchildren, Glenn Neal and Todd Neal; two nephews, Mike Ryan and wife Jean, Keyser, and Rick Reynolds and wife Cheryl, Winchester, Va.; one niece, Sue Ellen Loder, Keyser; two great-nieces, Michelle Ryan and Megan Loder; and one great-nephew, Brad Ryan.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Larry E. Shrout officiating. There will be no viewing on the day of services.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

GRACE E. MILLER
CUMBERLAND -- Grace "Sis" Elizabeth Miller, 82, of 14002 Bedford Road, NE, Cumberland, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on Oct. 12, 1918, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Craigeon E. Hamilton and Julia May (Boggs) Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cedric B. Miller in 1988.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Miller was a co-owner and operator of Mountain View Motel and Apartments for 37 years, a former employee of the McCroy's Store on Baltimore Street and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Cedric Lee Miller and wife Juanita, LaVale; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Quinn and husband John, Catlett, Va.; two grandsons, William Lee Miller, LaVale, and Michael Allen Miller, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

MARY C. KASTNER
CUMBERLAND -- Mary Catherine Kastner, 86, of the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at the nursing home.
Born on Nov. 24, 1914, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Agnes (Lavin) Ruppenkamp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Kastner on June 13, 2000.
Mrs. Kastner was a homemaker. She was a 1933 graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was a retired nursing secretary from Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Jo Masse and husband Michael, Cumberland; one son, Louis P. Kastner, Rockville; one sister, Edith Kastner, Cumberland; six grandchildren, Kevin Kastner, Beltsville, William Kastner, Rockville, Kerry Whitehead and husband Michael, Bel Air, Gregory Masse, U.S. Army serving in Korea, Jonathan Masse, Cumberland, and Jacquelin Masse, Cumberland; and one great-grandson, Terner M. Whitehead; one sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Florita, Louisville, Ky.; and two nieces, Mary Florita Pertko and husband Sam, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Eileen Cunningham and husband Joe, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A.,108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake service conducted Thursday at 8 p.m.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday at 1 p.m. with Fr. Milton A. Hipsley as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cumberland.
JAMES J. SATHOFF
CUMBERLAND -- James J. Sathoff, 72, of Cumberland, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore.
Born on June 15, 1928, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Herman Detrick and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Sathoff. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Ritchie) Sathoff; two brothers, Thomas and Irvin Sathoff; and one sister, Martha E. George.
Mr. Sathoff was a former employee of the B&O Railroad.
Surviving are one sister, Elsie L. Mattingly, Cumberland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Sathoff's request, his body will be cremated. There will be no services.
Inurnment will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
