MAXINE S. ROSENBAUM
SOUTH PASADENA, Fla. -- Maxine S. Rosenbaum, 77, of South Pasadena, formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena.
Born Dec. 23, 1923, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cora (Binnix) Shapiro.
Mrs. Rosenbaum was always associated with Rosenbaum Brothers. She was a retail fashion buyer for Magrams in Burlington, Vt., and later at J.W. Rhodes in Ithaca, N.Y. She was a fashion specialist at Burdines until her illness. She was a member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, B'er Chayim Sisterhood, Junior Women's Club, Red Cross and the Cumberland Country Club Golf Association.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Simon Rosenbaum; one daughter, Ricky Krall, Owings, Md.; one son, Morris Rosenbaum, Arlington Heights, Ill.; one sister, Eileen Moberly, Cumberland; one sister-in-law, Louise Miller, Baltimore; one brother-in-law, Stuart Rosenbaum, South Pasadena; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in the Eastview Cemetery, Cumberland.

RONALD L. DOLAN
MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK -- Ronald Lee Dolan, 50, of 500 Seneca Ave., Mountain lake Park, died Friday, March 30, 2001, as a result of a single engine plane accident near the Concord Regional Airport, Concord, N.C.
Born Sept. 13, 1950, in Grantsville, he was a son of Joseph Dolan, of Accident, and the late Mary Jane (Beachy) Dolan.
Mr. Dolan was a pilot for Corporate Air Fleet Inc., and was the former owner of Plane Aviation. He also was employed by Bausch and Lomb. He was a member of Airplane Owners and Pilots Association and the NRA.
Survivors include his fiancee, Twila N. Wood, Mountain Lake Park; four daughters, Candy Dolan-Opel and husband Jesse, Frostburg, Sandy Wotring and husband Steve, Oakland, Kathy Dolan-Yoder and husband Darrick, Grantsville, and Debi Dolan, Virginia Beach, Va.; three brothers, Owen and Robert Dolan, both of Accident, and Ricky Dolan, Mountain Lake Park; and seven grandchildren, Angela and Joshua DeWitt, Domonic and Dustin Dolan, Brandon Wotring, Emily and Alexis Opel.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
Services will be conducted at Cherry Glade Mennonite Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Elmer Maust officiating. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed for Aviation Equipment at the Garrett County Airport.
HAROLD R. HAINES
WESTERNPORT -- Harold R. "Chub" Haines, 80, of 22402 Cosgroves Lane, SW, Westernport, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born on May 21, 1920, in Keyser, W.Va., he was a son of the late Stanley and Effie (Turner) Haines. He also was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim, Arnold, Bobby and Jerry.
Mr. Haines owned and operated Haines Garage for many years and was retired from the Smith Ford Garage in Keyser. He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict, serving his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a life member of Queen's Point Memorial Post 6775, VFW, McCoole; Victory Post 155, American Legion, Westernport; Disabled American Veterans; and the Eighth Air Force Historical Society. Mr. Haines attended the Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Westernport.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, June (Morris) Everline Haines; four stepsons, John Everline and wife Diane, Keyser, Joey Everline and wife Robin, and David Everline and wife Cindy, all of Westernport, and Tim Everline and wife Barbara, Keyser; two brothers, R. Guy Haines, Keyser, and Donald E. Haines and wife Myrna, Lodi, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Matthew Everline and wife Jennifer, Luke, Adrienne, Krystle, Jake, Davey and Brock Everline; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Westernport, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Steffan Carr and the Rev. Merdith Shryock officiating.
Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport. Full military graveside honors will be accorded.

"Chub" was truly a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He never met a stranger, and always lent a helping hand to others. "Pap-Pap" will be especially missed by his grandchildren, who loved his sense of humor, warmth and kindness. His generosity and graciousness will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

GREEN SPRING, W.Va. -- Shirley Ann Iser, 47, of Green Spring, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at the Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.
Born July 8, 1953, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Bernard T. and Elizabeth Jane (Williams) Iser. She also was preceded in death by her grandparents, Denver and Eva Williams, and Edgar and Sadie Iser.
Miss Iser was an employee of General Electric in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her companion, Fred Ritchie, Green Spring; two daughters, D. Marie Butler and husband, Arthur, Cumberland, Md.; Cheyanne Ritchie, Green Spring; one sister, Darlene M. Butler and husband, Alonzo, Cumberland; one brother, Roger D. Iser and wife, Linda, Cumberland; five grandchildren, Jatanna, John, Elizabeth, Shawna and Samantha; one niece, Sherry Bittner and one nephew, Alonzo Butler Jr.

CUMBERLAND -- Anna Lee Riddle, 77, of Pershing St., Cumberland, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 29, 1924, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Keolker) Lippold. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Homer Lippold.
Mrs. Riddle was a homemaker. She was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Eugene Riddle; two sons, David H. Riddle and wife Patricia, and William Eugene Riddle Jr., all of Cumberland; her sister and best friend, Regina Raley, Finzel; a sister, Rita Shobe, Cumberland; a brother, Richard Lippold and wife Nardy, Cumberland; three grandchildren, Amy Riddle, David Riddle Jr. and Angela Riddle; and one great-grandson, Connor Riddle.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake will be conducted Tuesday at 8:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Wednesday at 9 a.m. with Father Thomas R. Bevan as celebrant.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veteran's cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.
Pallbearers will be David Riddle Jr., Dan Lasher, Doug Morin, Chuck Shobe, Ricky Jenkins and Jim Raley.
