CHARLES E. KIMBLE
Shippensburg, Pa. -- Charles Emory Kimble, 41, went to be with the lord on Monday, May 28, 2001.
He was born August 17, 1959 in Cumberland, Maryland. He was the son of Mary and Thomas Benson and the late Charles E. Kimble Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Cheryl (Wickard) Kimble and two sisters Denise Starner and Christal Blakesslee, also 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
Mr. Kimble owned and operated Chuck's Auto and Truck Repair Inc. and was a former employee of PPG. He attended Boiling Springs High School and was a member of Living Waters Tabernacle.
Friends will be received at Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, May 31,2001 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 1, 2001 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Glenn Young officiating.
Interment will follow at Mount Holly Springs Cemetery, Mount Holly Springs, Pa.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Blakesslee, Dave Burkholder, Terry Mooney, Scott Starner, Marvin VanMeter, Melvin VanMeter Jr., David Wickard and Karl Wickard.
Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Hershey and Ed Poe.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charles to the Living Waters Tabernacle, 51 East Main St., Plainfield, PA 17081.
HELEN COLLINS
RIDGELEY, W.Va. -- Helen (McKee) Collins of Route 1, Ridgeley, went home to be with the Lord, May 26, 2001, at the residence of her niece with whom she had resided.
Born in Lonaconing, Md., she was the daughter of the late Wallace M. McKee Sr. and Mary (Cullen) McKee. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Paul A. Durr in 1948; her second husband, Elwood L. Collins in 1993; one sister, Mary Knippenberg Twigg Wenrick; and two brothers, James McKee and Wallace M. McKee Jr.
Mrs. Collins was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Cumberland Chapter of the Women of the Moose. She was a 45 year employee of the Coning Department of the Celanese Fibers Corporation.
Surviving are two nieces, Helene K. Schilling, Bel Air, and Helen J. Taylor, Houston, Texas; one nephew, Adrian L. Knippenberg, Bel Air; one sister-in-law, Angela L. McKee; one great-nephew and several great-nieces; and special friend, Linda Nield.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. O. Morton Harris Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

CUMBERLAND -- Charles S. Robinette, 46, of the Brandenburg Center, Cumberland, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 12 noon until 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.

VIVIAN D. MERRBACH
MOUNT SAVAGE -- Vivian Dorcas "Bib" Merrbach, 64, of Mt. Savage, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on Sept. 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Mahaffey) Merrbach.
Ms. Merrbach was a former employee of G.C. Murphy Co. and Woolworth Co. "Bib" loved her family dearly. She had a winning smile, a warm personality and she never met a stranger. The world will be a little darker for the loss of her light, but heaven will shine brighter for it received a special star.
Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Smith and husband George H. Sr., Mt. Savage; two nephews, George H. Smith Jr. and wife Georgette, Mt. Savage, and David Smith and wife Barbara, Cresaptown; and one great-nephew, David N. Smith Jr.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. William H. Bice officiating.

JOSEPHINE L. PERDEW
BALTIMORE -- Josephine Louise Perdew, 77, formerly of Cumberland, and residing in Baltimore, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Bon Secure Hospital, Baltimore.
Born on June 14, 1923, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Robert William Albert Hoffmeister and Mary Ellen (Rowan) Hoffmeister. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Wilson and Mary Gould.
She is survived by four sons, Robert, Frank, Jon and Gary Perdew; and a sister, Charlotte Brill, Cumberland.
A private interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lonaconing.
The Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, is in charge of the arrangements.
BETTY J. WRIGHT-BARILE
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Betty J. (Bridges) Wright-Barile of St. Petersburg, formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, in Houston, Texas.
Mrs. Barile was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Wright.
Mrs. Barile and her family were members of St. Mary's Parish until 1975.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis "Buddy" Barile, St. Petersburg; one son, Jim Wright and wife Christy; two daughters, Mary Ann Blacklin and husband Bill, Patricia Sheffler and husband Jerry; one sister, Jeannie Youngblood, Ohio; one brother, Howard Bridges, Florida; six grandchildren, Jamela Rodriguez, Clarissa Pope, Heidi Wright, Christopher Blacklin, Carolyn Queen and Martin Mullaney; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at St. Mary's cemetery on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father William Moody.
