RONALD E. LIVENGOOD
CUMBERLAND -- Ronald E. "Jack" Livengood, 70, of 612 Edwards Ave., Cumberland, died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on Jan. 7, 1931, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Russell Lucas Livengood Sr. and Julia Grace (McCreary) Livengood.
Mr. Livengood was a former president of Livengood Insurance Co., Inc. He was also a retired postal clerk for the United States Postal Service. Mr. Livengood served in the U.S. Army Paratroopers during the Korean War. He was a member of Centre Street United Methodist Church, Potomac Lodge #100 A.F. & A.M., Ali Ghan Temple, Scottish Rite of Freemasonary, and Fort Cumberland Post #13 American Legion. For 31 years, Mr. Livengood coached for the Y.M.C.A. Sunday School Basketball League, and 25 years he coached for Dapper Dan, Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia N. (Fallen) Livengood; three sons, Dr. John R. Livengood, Atlanta, Ga., Mark W. Livengood and wife Kathy, Cumberland, and Eric R. Livengood and wife Mary Ann, Cumberland; a brother, Russell L. Livengood Jr. and wife Doris, Cumberland; a sister, Shirley L. Geary and husband Glen, Cumberland; five grandchildren, Megan, Greta, Kate, Rose and Dolly Livengood, all of Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Centre Street United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lloyd B. McCanna officiating. Mr. Livengood will be taken to the church an hour prior to service.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Center Street United Methodist Church Basketball Program.
Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the combined veterans honor guard.
MARION M. HENAGHAN
ECKHART -- Marion Margaret Henaghan of Parkersburg Road, Eckhart, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on Sept. 7, 1914, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Mary (Brunner) Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Joseph Henaghan; her son-in-law, Walter L. Bosley, who died on Aug. 13, 2000; three sisters, Angela Hanna, Alice Filer and Mildred Spates; and one brother, William Porter.
Marion was employed by Celanese Corporation. She was a member of Eckhart United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1273 Auxiliary.
Surviving are one daughter, Joan Bosley, Frostburg; one son, William B. Henaghan and wife Christina C., Eckhart; three grandchildren, Billy Henaghan, Bernie Henaghan and Lisa Michaels; one sister, Eleanor Porter Tennant, Cumberland; Oliver Meagher, her very special, dear and devoted friend of many years; and several nieces and nephews.
Marion was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She was a very kind and giving person. She will remain in our hearts forever, and will be deeply missed by all of us.
Services will be conducted at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Heneghan, Gregg Michaels, Ralph Nelson, Brad Shirey, Bruce Shirey and Fred DeVore. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie Henaghan, Robert Baker, Ed Shoup, Ed Kopper and Carey Kyle.

ANNA R. HARTMAN
WESTERNPORT -- Anna Rita Hartman, 79, of 421 Hammond St., Westernport, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, W.Va.
Born in Luke on May 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (O'Connor) Dawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Hartman Sr.; a son, Robert Hartman; a daughter, Rita Whetzel; a special friend, John R. Jones; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hartman was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, a member of Victory Unit #155 Ladies Auxiliary and a 55 year member of Petunia Council #10, all of Westernport. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Westvaco Corp.
Surviving are one son, James D. Hartman Jr. and wife Kim of Westernport; two daughters, Sue Miller and husband Dale of Westernport, and Kay Barone and husband Russ of Tonawanda, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three special nieces.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Adam Parker as celebrant.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
LENA A. MCDONALD
AUGUSTA, W.Va. -- Lena Ann Shanholtzer McDonald, 94, of Augusta, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Hampshire Long Term Care, Romney.
Born on April 19, 1907, in RockOak, she was the daughter of the late John G. Shanholtzer and Elta Loy Shanholtzer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. McDonald; two sons, Gary McDonald and Paul Thomas McDonald Jr.; two sisters, Griselda Shanholtzer and Gustava French; and one brother, Edgar J. Shanholtzer.
Mrs. McDonald was a retired school teacher in Hampshire County and Broomal, Pa. She was a member of the Romney Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Romney High School and Potomac State College.
Surviving are two nieces, Peggy Veach and husband Sonny of Augusta, and Sue Ann Burd and husband Oliver of West Alexandrer, Pa.; two nephews, Terry French and wife Karen of Augusta, and William Shanholtzer and wife Pat of Capon Bridge; and a sister-in-law, Elfrieda P. Shanholtzer of Romney. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
The family will receive friends at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 13, 2001, at 3 p.m. with Dan Shaw, Minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney.
ARTHUR L. STEVANUS
CRESAPTOWN -- Arthur Lawrence Stevanus, 90, of Oakwood Avenue, Cresaptown, a resident of Devlin Manor Nursing Home, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.
Born on Sept. 13, 1910, in Coal Run, Pa., he was the son of the late Jeramiah and Gertrude (Krautworth) Stevanus. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Bowman Stevanus on Nov. 25, 1999; one sister; and three brothers.
Mr. Stevanus was a member of the Cresaptown United Methodist Church and retired in 1975 after 24 1/2 years of service as a steamfitter from ABL.
Surviving are three sons, Ray A. Stevanus and wife Barbara of Charlotte, N.C., Fay E. Stevanus and wife Margaret of Altoona, Pa., and Harold A. Stevanus and wife Wanda of Cresaptown; two daughters, Freda J. Crowe and husband Bud of Bel Air, and Pauline S. Winters and husband Carl of Cresaptown; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Hwy., LaVale, on Sunday, May 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel of Monday, May 14 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Salisbury cemetery in Salisbury, Pa.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
