GENEVA L. ROBINSON
CUMBERLAND -- Geneva L. Robinson, 82, formerly of Lincoln Street, Cumberland, now residing at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 7, 1919, in Hampshire County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Samuel W. Henderson and Lavinia (Moreland). She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Robinson who died on Dec. 2, 1974; three brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Robinson was a retired self-employed sitter and an active member of First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Charley W. Robinson and wife Donna, Ellerslie, and Gary E. Robinson and wife Kathy, Halethorpe; one daughter, Vivian E. Muhleman and husband David, Cumberland; five sisters, Eva Stephens, Baltimore, Ina Ginevan, Gettysburg, Pa., Ethel Raffensberger and husband Fred, Manheim, Pa., Evelyn Roberts and husband Marvin, Hanover, Pa., and Doris Albert, Scranton, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Kight Funeral Home, 309-311 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William H. Bice officiating.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will all be grandsons of Mrs. Robinson, David Muhleman, Daniel Muhleman, Brian Muhleman, Jerry Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and Jimmy Root.
The family has requested that contributions take the form of donations to the Western Maryland Alzheimer's Association, 1720 N. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701.
MICHAEL L. MOONEY
BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Michael Lawrence Mooney "Larry", 53, died on April 23, 2001, following a brief illness at Lakeside Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Mooney was born in 1948 to the parents of the late Michael A. (Violet Robinette) Mooney. He was a graduate of Holley Central School the class of 1967.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Amy (Richard) Ashbery of Holley, Charles (Donna) Mooney of CA, Gary Mooney, Daniel Mooney, Dale (Belinda) Mooney and Pam (Gary) Shanholtz, all of Maryland. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
LACY LAMBERT TINSLEY
WESTERNPORT -- Lacy Lambert Tinsley, 72, of 250 Victory Post Drive, Westernport, died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born on Feb. 18, 1929 in Westernport, he was the son of the late Lacy Benjamin and Pearl (Lambert) Tinsley. His wife, Essie L. (Miller) Tinsley also preceded him in death.
Mr. Tinsley was retired from Columbia Gas Company, having been a customer service man. He was a United States Marines Corp. veteran, a life member of Kelly Mansfield Post 52 American Legion, Piedmont, W.Va., a member of Barton American Legion 189, a member of First Baptist Church, Westernport, and a member of Black Hawk Tribe Improved Order of Redman. He was a former Councilman and Mayor for the city of Westernport.
Surviving are two sisters, Florence Welsh and husband Frank of New Creek, W.Va., and Janet Hanna of Westernport; one daughter, Beverly Kay Grove and husband Ron of Westernport; four sons, Gary L. Tinsley and wife Tammy of Oakland, Jeffrey S. Tinsley of Westernport, Paul Smith and wife Linda of Westernport, and William Bonney of Westernport; twelve grandchildren, Trina Kesner and husband Craig, Christie-Grove Kimble and husband George, Mishawn-Tinsley Vinci and husband Robert, Shayla Smith, Jeffrey Grove and wife Kristen, Shawn Bonney, Michelle Grove, Tina Bonney, Erica Tinsley, Garret Tinsley, Kaylyn Tinsley, and Hayden Tinsley; 13 great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Robbie Vinci, Whitney, Danielle, and Kirk Kesner, Brianna, Marina, and Westley Kimble, Tray and Tanner Grove, Dillon Bonney, Tyler McKenzie, and Jada Lee Whetzel; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Homer Beeman officiating.
The Black Hawk Tribe will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, where full military honors will be accorded at the gravesite by the combined veterans organizations.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the Tri-Towns Rescue Squad or Potomac Fire Company.
LOVENIA E. DAVIS
FROSTBURG -- Lovenia E. Davis, 88, of Frostburg, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born May 6, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Catherine Landis of Deer Park. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William D. Davis.
Mrs. Davis was a retired phlebotomist at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the owner of the former Lad and Lassie's Children's Shop in Frostburg. She was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Deidra L. Ritchie of Frostburg; and one granddaughter, Carlie Jo Ritchie also of Frostburg; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of Mrs. Davis, her body will be donated to the Anatomy Board of Maryland. There will be no services at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Frostburg United Methodist Youth Fellowship, 48 West Main St., Frostburg, MD 21532.
MARGUERITE B. GELRUD
LAVALE -- Marguerite B. (Wineland) Gelrud, 88, Doris Street, LaVale, she had been residing at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born April 14, 1913 at Ellerslie, she was the daughter of the late Harvey C. Wineland and Ida M. (Burley) Wineland. She was preceded in death by a beloved son Bobbie Allen McDemott, Phoenix, Ariz.; also preceding her in death were two brothers and seven sisters.
Mrs. Gelrud was a homemaker and a member of LaVale United Methodist Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Gelrud is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Ann Collins and husband C.J, (Rip), Russa Raye (Rusty) Jones and husband Russell; a daughter-in-law, Jean McDemott, Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Kevin McDemott, Brandon McDemott, Tracy Boucher, Dr. Tim Collins, Michael Collins, Kelly Pearson, and Stacy Jones; 12 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed, but long remembered.
At Mrs. Gelrud's request her body was cremated, a graveside service will be held at a later time.
The family requested that contributions take the form of donations to the LaVale United Methodist Church.

MARION MARGARET HENAGHAN
ECKHART -- Marion Margaret Henaghan, of Parkersburg Road, Eckhart, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1914 in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Mary (Brunner) Porter. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Joseph Henaghan.
Mrs. Henaghan was employed by Celanese Corporation. She was a member of Eckhart United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1273 Auxiliary.
Surviving are one daughter, Joan Bosley, Frostburg; one son, William B. Henaghan and wife Christina C., Eckhart; three grandchildren, Billy Henaghan, Bernie Henaghan and Lisa Michaels; one sister, Eleanor Porter Tennant, Cumberland; special friend, Oliver Meagher; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Heneghan, Gregg Michaels, Ralph Nelson, Brad Shirey, Bruce Shirey, and Fred DeVore. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Baker, Ed Shoup, Ed Kopper, and Carey Kyle.
