GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Mr. Lester A. Inskeep, 84, died Saturday, April 28, 2001.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Mr. Inskeep, a native of Romney, W.Va., lived most of his life in Cumberland, Md. He was employed as a district supervisor for the Baltimore Sun Newspaper, retiring in 1981. For the past several years, he had been a resident of Greenville, where he was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda O'Neal Inskeep; daughters, Elsie Jo Forsythe of Lafayette, Ind., Gwynn I. Cope of Pensacola, Fla., and Lynn I. Simpson of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

FRANCES E. DUNBAR
OAKLAND -- Frances E. Dunbar, 56, of E. Water St., Oakland, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born on April 30, 1944, in Lumberport, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Earl D. and Mary O. (Whitehair) Sanders.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Oakland, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Proctor Kildow Post #71, American Legion, Oakland. She was the president of the Oakland Crime Watch.
For 17 years, she worked as a nurse's aide at the Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland, and later was a machine operator for seven years at Bausch & Lombe, Mountain Lake Park. She was a representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Dunbar Sr.; one daughter, Pamela J. Dunbar, Hagerstown; five sons, Thomas E. Dunbar Jr., Temple, Texas, Carlos W. Uphold, Deep River, Conn., Oscar E. Uphold, Accident, Jarrid A. Uphold, Old Saybrook, Conn., and Tommy R. Dunbar, at home; three sisters, Martha Quinn and Sue Weaver, both of Clinton, Mass., and Mary Tracy, Wilsonburg, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roger Harrison and the Rev. Ann Harrison officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
Pallbearers will be Jim Shay, Doug Riley, Tom Browning, Richard Buckingham, Andy Damon and Charles Wade.

NELLIE E. URICE
CORRIGANVILLE -- Nellie Edna Faye (Lease) Urice, 82, of Lions Manor Nursing Center, formerly of Corriganville, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at WMHS Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born on Feb. 26, 1919, in Fountain, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late James and Rosie Mae (Bennett) Lease.
Surviving are a son, James R. and wife Rita (Dietz) Urice, Corriganville; a daughter, Geraldine L. and husband Alfred Estep, Carlisle, Pa.; a brother, Gilbert E. Lease, Corriganville; two sisters, Mary L. Bishop and husband Ralph, Ridgeley, W.Va., and Mary Riggleman, Short Gap, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James W. Urice in 1977; one brother; and one sister.
Mrs. Urice was a homemaker who worked for the Celanese Corporation as a spinner during World War II.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2001, at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Comps Cemetery, Kennells Mills, Pa.
JOSEPH L. DIBUONO
PIEDMONT, W.Va. -- Joseph L. DiBuono, 60, of Gormania, formerly of Piedmont, died at his home on April 21, 2001. He was born in Westernport, Md., on April 18, 1941. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Pasquale and Christina (Tucci) DiBuono; a daughter, Tracy DiBuono; and a sister, Philomenia Cannon.
He was a graduate of St. Peter's in Westernport, Class of 1959. He served in the Navy from 1961 to 1967. He worked as a policeman in Piedmont, Westernport and Aberdeen, Md. He also worked as Security Guard for Metiki Coal and Mt. Storm Power Co. He was a member of the VFW.
Surviving are two sons, Donald DiBuono and wife Rhonda of Barton, Md., and William DiBuono of Sykesville, Md.; two brothers, Charles Reno, Westernport, and James Reno, Edgewood, Md.; four sisters, Elva Bear of Delaware, Dorothy Whetzel, Westernport, Mary Carr and Norma Billings of Edgewood, Md.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Father Adam Parker will hold a memorial graveside service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Peter's School in Westernport.
Arrangements were provided by the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont.
JAMES C. SWANER
SHORT GAP, W.Va. -- James C. Swaner, 92, of Short Gap, died Thursday at his residence.
Born Oct. 3, 1908 in Keyser, he was the son of the late James Rees Swaner and Alice Edith (VanMeter) Swaner.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Phyllis (Markle) Swaner; one sister, Ruby Pearl Swaner; two brothers, Everett G. Swaner and Donald Isaac Swaner; and two grandsons, William L. Swaner Jr., and Terry G. Mcdonald Jr.
Mr. Swaner was a graduate of Bruce High School. He was retired from the Western Maryland Railway, having been a car inspector. Mr. Swaner was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Fort Ashby.
He is survived by three sons, William Leroy Swaner, Cumberland, Md., Paul Leon Swaner, Ridgeley, and Robert Dale Swaner, Somerset, P.A.; one daughter, Linda kay (Swaner) McDonald, Ridgeley; one sister Dorthy Maries Weakley, Ridgeley; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m., with the Pastor Wesley Beahm, officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

CUMBERLAND -- Charles "Chuck" Giornesto, Jr., 76, of Cumberland, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at this home.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 12 p.m.
At Mr. Giornesto's request, his body was cremated at the Scarpelli Funeral Home Crematorium.
