CUMBERLAND -- Services for Daphney Louise Stumbaugh will be conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.

MARGARET L. CARTER
FROSTBURG -- Margaret Lavern Carter, 88, formerly of 100 Honeysuckle Lane, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born on Feb. 28, 1913, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late William and Katie (Barry) Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Carter, in 1994; one brother, William Nelson; one sister, Beulah "Boody" Martz; and one nephew, Robert "Ozzie" Nelson.
Mrs. Carter was a homemaker and formerly a confectioner for many years at the McFarland Candy Shop on Main Street, Frostburg. She was a lifelong member of the Eckhart Methodist Church, member of the Mountain Chapter 15 Order of the Eastern Star and the Cedarettes.
Surviving are one daughter, Karen Delaney and husband Jerry, Frostburg.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 7 p.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
A private interment will be held on Friday in the Eckhart Cemetery.
MARY C. BLANK
MOUNT SAVAGE -- Mary C. Blank, 91, formerly of Calla Hill, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on Dec. 14, 1909, in Cresaptown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Hunt and Edna Grant Hunt Stottlemyer.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Requiem Eucharist will be held at St. George's Episcopal Church, Mount Savage, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Thomas Staupe and the Rev. Father Ian Thomson as celebrants.
Interment will be in the St. George's Parish Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the St. George's Memorial Fund or the Mount Savage Volunteer Fire Company.
PAULINE G. PERKINS
CUMBERLAND -- Pauline G. Perkins, 76, of Cumberland, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 24, 1924, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Adolph R. and Edith G. (Ferguson) Schade.
Mrs. Perkins was a customer service representative at Town and County Department Store. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks BPO #63. Mrs. Perkins, along with her husband, were avid travelers. They attended the annual reunions of the U.S.S. Ticonderoga, the ship on which her husband had served during World War II. She was also instrumental in planning and organizing the annual Schade family reunions, which are held in Cumberland.
She was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1942 and actively served on the class reunion committee.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, O. Jack Perkins Sr.; two sons, Olin J. Perkins Jr. and wife Cindy, Cumberland, and Gary A. Perkins and wife Sherry, Salisbury; two brothers, Robert Schade and wife Flo, Cumberland, and Richard Schade and wife Rosie, Bedford, Pa.; two sisters, Gracine Golden, Cumberland, and Wilda L. Brooks and husband Bill, Glen Burnie; and five grandchildren, Heather A. Hook and husband T.J., Waldorf, Amy B. Perkins, a student at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Va., Allison M. Perkins, a student at Allegany College in Cumberland, Scott A. Perkins, a student at Galaudet College in Washington, D.C., and Christopher O. Perkins, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Scott D. Shumaker officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.

BOWIE -- Friends and family for Roy C. Ketterman Sr. will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rawlings United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.

CUMBERLAND -- Daphney Louise Stumbaugh, infant, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born on April 18, 2001, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Gilda L. (Juste) and Roger L. Stumbaugh Jr., Cumberland.
In addition to her parents, surviving are one brother, Dylan T. Stumbaugh, at home; maternal grandparents, Emmanuel Juste and Florise Juste, both of Mauritius; paternal grandparents, Ronnie Brinkman and Roger L. Stumbaugh; and paternal great-grandmother, Doris Stumbaugh, all of Cumberland.
Services will be conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Robert Passarelli.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.

JOHN V. GREEN
BARTON -- Mr. John Vincent "Jack" Green, 62, of Barton, passed away in Tampa, Fla., on Saturday, April 21, 2001, where he had been residing.
Born in Detmold, he was the son of the late Vincent J. Green and Mrs. Lola (Kirk) Green of St. Augustine, Fla., formerly of Barton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald David Green.
Surviving in addition to his mother are six children, Debbie Green, Westernport, Joy Jolly, Cumberland, Ken Green, Frostburg, Jackie Tawney, Texas, Lisa White, Virginia, and Vince Green, North Carolina; five brothers and sisters, Ken Green, Florida, Joan Francis, LaVale, Janice Johnson, Florida, Christa Vinci, Midlothian, and Beverly Hall, Florida; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lonaconing, on Thursday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. George Loar officiating.
