ELIZABETH A. BLAIR BRUCK
CUMBERLAND -- Elizabeth A. Blair Bruck, 56, of Shriver Avenue, Cumberland, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at her home.
Born Aug. 8, 1944, in Harrisburg, Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert Blair and Ruby (Dunn) Swauger. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Bruck was a former employee of City Cleaners, Cumberland, and the LaVale Dry Cleaners. She was a 1962 graduate of Allegany High School, a graduate of Allegany Community College and attended Frostburg State University. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Cumberland, a member of the church choir, the Worship and Music Committee, and the Highlanders and Fellowship Committee of the church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank G. Bruck; two daughters, Lynn Norris and special friend, Lashon McCormick, Jackson, N.J., Dana Norris Lopez and fiancé Dennis Williams, Cumberland; two sons, Michael Norris and wife Kim, LaVale, Sean Norris and wife Patty, Annapolis; two step-daughters, Karen Sue Bruck and husband Steven, Blacksburg, Va., Vickie Ann Bruck and husband Randy, Henderson, Ky.; two step-sons, Steven Leo Bruck and wife Tammy, LaVale, William Bruck and wife Kathy, LaVale; and 10 grandchildren, Sierra Pettie, Dajon Lopez, Darion Lopez, Madeline Williams, Shane Norris, Kiley Norris, Erin Degyansky, Katherine Degyansky, Meredith Degyansky, and Johanna Norris.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church Monday at 2 p.m. with the Dr. O. Morton Harris Jr. officiating. Friends will also be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

BERNARD J. REYNOLDS
RIDGELEY, W.Va. -- Bernard John Reynolds, 75, of Route 1, Box 201, Ridgeley, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 26, 1926, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Howard Davidson and Leona V. (Karnes) Davidson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte "Sharkie" Deatlehauser and her husband, Don Deatlehauser.
Mr. Reynolds was retired from the Cumberland Country Club. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Ayers) Reynolds, and his mother-in-law, Lillia B. (Goodrich) Ayers, Ridgeley.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John J. Duffus officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
NELLIE E. HOWELL
BARTON -- Nellie E. Howell, 101, of Dogwood Flat, Barton, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing, where she had been a resident.
Born in Barton, on Sept. 30, 1899, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Elizabeth (Preston) Metz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John G. Howell in March 1977; one sister, Lillie Ross; and four brothers, Clarence, Earl, Leslie and Charles Metz.
Mrs. Howell was a member of Barton United Methodist Church, member of Pride of Barton Council #77 Daughters of America, member of Ladies Auxiliary Barton Hose Co. #1, member of Ladies Auxiliary Barton American Legion #189, and the Barton Senior Citizens. She was still an avid reader of local newspapers and magazines, and an avid bingo player.
Surviving are one brother, Frederick Metz of Lonaconing; three sisters-in-law, Alice Metz of Barton, Vera Metz and Mabel Metz, both of Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Park officiating.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

WILEY FORD, W.Va. -- Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Barbara (Steele) Rollins Eirich, 80, of Wiley Ford, will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Jude Mili, O.F.M., Cap., and Father Milton A. Hipsley as celebrants.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
Pallbearers will be Tom Matthews, Marty Matthews, Chris Matthews, Tim Rollins, Paul Rollins and Jack Piscarcik.
MYRTLE G. PUGH
ROANOKE, Va. -- Myrtle G. Pugh, 82, of Roanoke, formerly of 195 Welsh Hill, Frostburg, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at the Lewis Gale Hospital, Salem, Va.
Born on Sept. 6, 1918, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Effie (Sheetz) Barrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Pugh; one daughter, Sally (Pugh) Moore; and one stepson, Larry Fairley.
Ms. Pugh was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.
Surviving are one sister, Frances "Topsy" Ross, Westernport; three grandchildren, Kelly M. Hubbard and husband Ryland, James R. Moore and wife April, and Neil Douglas Moore and wife Ramona; and five great-grandchildren, all of Roanoke.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Paul Byrnes as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
JAMES P. TACCINO
FROSTBURG -- James P. Taccino, 80, formerly of Frostburg, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Brecc Veterans Hospital, Baltimore, after a lengthy illness.
Born on Aug. 23, 1920, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Anthony and Julia (Givigliano) Taccino. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Taccino; and two sisters, Genevieve Scarpelli and Vera Pifalo.
He attended Beall High School and Frostburg State College. He served in the 20th Air Force in the South Pacific as a B-29 Bombardier. He was a member of the Barton American Legion Post #189, and the Severna Park Rotary Club. He enjoyed playing golf and boating. He retired as Divisional Director of International Telephone and Telegraph.
Surviving are his wife, Mary (Bean) Taccino; two daughters, Jean Davis, Severna Park, and Janice Ferri, Pasadena; two grandchildren; three sisters, Emma Montana, Frostburg, Marguerite Warne and husband Everett, Frostburg, and Betty Mills and husband Joseph, Frostburg.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Monday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Father Jack Lombardi officiating.
Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Military graveside honors will be accorded by Barton American Legion Post #189.

WILEY FORD, W.Va. -- Agnes Barbara (Steele) Rollins Eirich, 80, of Wiley Ford, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at her home.
Born on Jan. 27, 1921, in Gilmer County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jay Steele and Bonnie Opal (Floyd) Steele Calhoun. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, John William Rollins.
Mrs. Eirich was a former employee of Bishop Walsh High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's and St. Patrick's church sodalities, the Secular Order of Franciscans, and Light of Christ Prayer Group, Cumberland.
Surviving are her husband, Paul A. Eirich; five sons, William P. Rollins and wife Carole, Rochester, N.Y., Eric J. Rollins and wife Connie, Slidell, La., Richard T. Rollins and wife Evelyne, Miami, Fla., Robert E. Rollins, Cumberland, and Kevin J. Rollins and wife Nanette, Laurel, Md.; one daughter, Patricia G. Terwilliger and husband James, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; two half-sisters, Shirley DeWitt and husband Frank, Mansfield, Ohio, Jackie Edwards and husband Sterling, Greentown, Pa.; and eight grandchildren, Brian, Marisa, Erin, Kelly, Breanna, Bridget and Nicole Rollins, and Jack Terwilliger.
