JAMES T. PRICE
LITTLE ORLEANS -- James T. Price, 84, of James Price Road, NE, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland.
Born on May 17, 1917, in Little Orleans, he was the son of the late Franklin W. and Lillie May Norris Price and the husband of Dorothy M. Mellott Price, who died June 13, 2001.
He was retired in 1980 from Kelly Springfield in Cumberland, after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army with the Military Police in Alaska.
He attended Pleasant View School. He was a member of the Price Memorial Wesleyan Church in Little Orleans. He was a member of the VFW Henry Hart Post 1411 in Cumberland.
Surviving are one son, Larry James Price of Little Orleans; one sister, Fannie Skidmore of Big Cove Tannery, Pa.; four brothers, Ervin Price and Joseph Price, both of Little Orleans, Roy Price of North Rose, N.Y., and Benjamin Price of Omaha, Neb. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter in 1952, and one brother, Webster Price.
A service will be held on Friday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, the Rev. Darryl McClain will officiate.
Burial will be in the Price Memorial Wesleyan Cemetery, Price Road, Little Orleans.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Orleans Fire Company, Little Orleans, MD 21766, or the Flintstone Fire Company #12, Flintstone, MD 21530.
CHARLES W. FISHELL
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Charles W. Fishell, 83, of 703 Willis Ave., Bridgeport, died Sunday, June 17, 2001.
He was born June 2, 1918, in LaVale, he was a son of the late Abner W. Fishell and Lottie L. Bennett Fishell. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Mr. Fishell served during World War II in the U.S. Army Corps Division. He retired after 30 years of service. He also retired from the University of Connecticut, serving in the Publication Department. Mr. Fishell was dedicated to his faith as a member of the All Saints Catholic Church. He was a beloved father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Josephine Loretta Fishell, Bridgeport; and a daughter, Patricia L. Fishell, Gaithersburg.
Friends will be received on Tuesday at the All Saints Catholic Church from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport.
Interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery.

HAZEL C. NEUS
SYKESVILLE -- Hazel C. Neus, 80, of Sykesville, formerly of Cumberland, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at her daughter's residence in Sykesville.
Born March 9, 1921 in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late C.J. Bageant Sr. and Lessa (Hovermale) Bageant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Edward Neus, Sept. 15, 1996; two brothers, Harry L. Bagaent and C.J. "Pete" Bageant.
Mrs. Neus attended Fort Hill High School and was a graduate of Catherman's Business School. She was employed at the Celanese Corporation in the Accounting Department.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah A. Hawkins and husband Tommie, with whom she resided; one son, William E. Neus Jr. and wife Lynne, Baltimore; four sisters, Marybelle Light and husband Dr. John P. Light, Virginia Bishop, Mabel Young, and Anna Reed, all of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Sarah Neus, Matthew Neus, Daniel Neus, Sherry Hall and husband Sean; and three great-granddaughters, Lauren, Renee, and Amber.
Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne R. Turner officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veteran's cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.

BRENDA L. WAGONER
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. -- Brenda Lee Wagoner, 55, of Fort Ashby, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Dawnview Manor Center.
Born Nov. 2, 1945 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of John H. Wagoner Jr., Fort Ashby, and the late Evelyn G. (Sisk) Wagoner.
Brenda had been a clerk at Ruhl's. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two sons, Steve Kerns, Williamsport, and Chris Davis, Cumberland; one daughter, Lori Wagoner, Fort Ashby; two brothers, John David Wagoner and Jack E. Wagoner, Both of Fort Ashby, two sisters, Judy Ross, Fort Ashby, and Nancy Farmer, Buckner, Va., and two grandchildren, Matthew Kerns and Megan Kerns.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dallas Forren, officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.

TWILA H. RAUPACH
CUMBERLAND -- Twila Harriett (Jankey) Raupach, 83, of Oldtown Manor, Cumberland, died Thursday at her residence.
Born April 29, 1918 in Piedmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Josephine (Law) Jankey.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Raupach Sr.; her son, John William Raupach Jr.; two brothers, Charles Jankey and John "Dutch" Jankey; and one sister, Virginia Randolph.
Mrs. Raupach was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Wigginton and husband James, College Park, Patricia Allison, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Jo-Ellen Knetzer, with whom she resided; one sister, Eva Fradiska and husband Jake, Cresaptown; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John J Duffus officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Crymes, John Wigginton, James Wigginton, Carl Allison, Randolph Cribb, and Royce Ranker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan David Crymes and Nicki Crymes.
