BEATRICE K. WARNER
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Mrs. Beatrice K. Warner of Charlotte, died peacefully at her home on Monday, June 4, 2001.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph S. Warner; daughter, Judy Taylor and husband Dick; and grandson, John and wife Charlene. Her son, Tommy, preceded Beatrice in death.
Memorials may be made to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 East Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204.
Graveside service will be held Friday, June 8, 2001, at 10 a.m. in Evergreen cemetery with Father Ignatius Zampino officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Hankins & Whittington Dilworth Chapel, 1111 East Boulevard.
MARVIN O. OGLE
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Marvin O. Ogle, 78, of 144 Hampden Road, East Longmeadow, and formerly of Belmont Avenue, Springfield, died Monday at home.
He was born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late, Frank and Grace (Buhrman) Ogle. He attended Maryland schools, Fort Hill High School, Polytechnic High in Los Angeles and the Los Angeles City College. He recently spent a year in Redington Shores, Fla.
Mr. Ogle was a member of the League of American Authors, the Academy of American Poets, the International Society of Poets and ANTA as a volunteer set up designer. Mr. Ogle wrote poetry and plays, one of which was performed at Holyoke Community College. Mr. Ogle was also a member of South Church, Springfield. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Chicopee American Legion Club. A postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Springfield, retiring in 1995.
He is predeceased by his wife, the former Henrietta A. Seaton in 1995, and a daughter, Cynara Iorfino in June, 2000.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia A. Duprey of East Longmeadow with whom he made his home and Sharon Tams of Florence, Mass.; a brother, Raphael Ogle of Tyner, N.C.; a sister, Geraldine Judy of Cumberland; and six grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday morning, June 9, at South Church Chapel, 45, Maple St., at 10 a.m.
Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery, East Longmeadow.

WILLIAM H. LECHLITER III
LAVALE -- William H. Lechliter III, 74, of LaVale, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born on April 28, 1927, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late William H. Lechliter II and Bertha (Harbaugh) Lechliter. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Lechliter.
Mr. Lechliter retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis G. Lechliter; two sons, William Lechliter IV and wife Joyce, Cumberland, and Terry Lechliter, LaVale; three daughters, Paulette Baker, LaVale, Bonnie Broadwater, LaVale, Colette Warnick and husband James, Great Mills; two brothers, James Lechliter and wife Carol, and Joseph Lechliter and wife Sandy, all of Cumberland; three sisters, Mary Rosenberger and husband Jon, Cumberland, Delores Kaylor and husband Floyd, LaVale, Phyllis Vanderhout, Cumberland; five grandchildren, Shelley Rice and husband Rich, Leslie Broadwater and wife Ellen, Mark Lechliter and fiancee Jaynea, Darrin Broadwater and James Warnick III; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Rice and Madison Rice.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake conducted Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Jerome Dunn, O.F.M., Cap., as celebrant.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Kaylor III, Jeff Vanderhout, Rich Rice, Leslie Broadwater Jr., Mark Lechliter and Darrin Broadwater.
HAZEL L. SHECKELLS
BALTIMORE -- Hazel Lohr Sheckells, 103, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, June 3, 2001, in Baltimore.
Born on July 6, 1897, in Bittinger, she was the daughter of the late Wade Hampton and Cora May (Ashenfelter) Lohr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1969, and her brother, Wade Hampton Jr. (Joe) in 1973.
She was a member of Episcopal Churches in Swanton, Oakland, Cumberland and Baltimore, through the years.
Survivors include her four daughters, Nancy Scott, San Francisco, Calif., Mary Mosner, Baltimore, Patricia Day, Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Cynthia Knight, Grantsville; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A service will be held in Baltimore.
DOROTHY M. PRICE
LITTLE ORLEANS -- Dorothy M. Price, 78, of James Price Road, NE, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland.
Born on Oct. 15, 1922, in Jimtown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ranard and Anna Feagley Mellott.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Price Weslyan Memorial Church in Little Orleans. She attended school in Fulton County, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Price of Little Orleans, whom she married
on Feb. 8, 1946, at the Hancock United Methodist Church, Hancock; and one son, Larry James Price of Little Orleans. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant daughter; one sister, Katherine; and four brothers, Kenneth, Wallace, David and Robert Mellott.
A service will be held Saturday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, the Rev. Darryl McClain will officiate.
Burial will be in the Price Weslyan Cemetery, Little Orleans.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Orleans Fire Company, Little Orleans, MD 21766, or the Flintstone Fire Company #12, Flintstone, MD 21530.
TWILA M. SMITH
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Twila Moreland Smith, 86, of Charles Town, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born on July 15, 1914, in Garrett County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Scott Rotruck and Lacey Moreland Rotruck. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence D. Moreland Sr.; her second husband, the Rev. George W. Smith; and a son, Clarence D. Moreland Jr.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna Louise Potter, Danville, Ill.; sons, Richard D. Moreland, Cumberland, Md., Glen E. Moreland, Inwood, and Alvin L. Moreland, Charles Town; sisters, Mable Lucas, Gray, Pa., Mary Bacorn, Keyser, and Ruth Agnew, Keyser; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home at Harpers Ferry on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Bolivar Pentecostal Church of Christ, Harpers Ferry, Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. B.G. Turner and the Rev. Samuel Miller officiating. There will also be a graveside viewing at Locust Grove cemetery at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 followed by a graveside service officiated by the Rev. Philip Bonner.
Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Bismark.

DON R. ANDREWS
LAVALE -- Don R. Andrews, 67, of LaVale, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born on July 2, 1933, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Wilford Andrews and Catherine (Nicholson) Andrews Sturtz.
Mr. Andrews was retired from PPG Industries, Cumberland, and Mount Zion, Ill. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Cumberland Outdoor Club, Cumberland American Legion Post #13, Cumberland Eagles, Haystack Mountain Sportsmen's Club, and the Cumberland Knights of Columbus #586.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary B. (Russell) Andrews; two daughters, Donna M. Eisentrout, Lancaster County, Pa., Denise M. Andrews, R.T.R.B.S., LaVale; one sister, Catherine Long and husband Edgell, Short Gap, W.Va.; one grandson, Andrew J. Eisentrout; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 8:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Father Senan Glass as celebrant.
Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
