JOSEPH CANGIALOSI
GRANTSVILLE - Joseph Cangialosi, 85, of 188 Main St., Grantsville, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
Born on April 29, 1914, in McKeesport, Pa., he was the son of the late Salvator and Nita (Garofalo) Cangialosi.
He was a retired Broadcast engineer for the U.S. Information Agency and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served with the 33rd. Infantry in Italy.
Surviving are his wife, Frances (Yoder) Cangialosi and a daughter, Louise Cangialosi, Glendale, N.Y.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Monday at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, on Monday at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow.
WALTER ALBRIGHT
AKRON, Ohio - Walter Albright, 64, of Akron, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999. He also was preceded in death by his father, Simon; and one brother, Simon.
Mr. Albright was a native of Somerset, Pa., and was an Akron resident for 45 years. He was employed for 25 years with Admiral Machine and was a member of AARP and UAW Local #70.
Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Dolores (nee Rafferty); mother, Florence, Frostburg; two sons, William and wife Wanda, and Tim and wife Fran; three daughters, Tammy Albright, Karen Coulter and husband Roger, and Patty Conner and husband David; 12 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darlene (Bill) Nep, all of Akron; five brothers, Rolland, Elmer, William, Carl, and Jerry; three sisters, Betty Bibbs, Della Berger and Margaret Ashcraft; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, Kenmore Blvd. at 8th Street, Akron, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be conducted there on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald Carl, the Rev. James McComas and the Rev. Cecil Farmer officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
ARLENE M. BEEMAN
LONACONING - Arlene Marie (Bean) Beeman, 63, of 94 West Main St., Lonaconing, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland.
Mrs. Beeman was the daughter of the late Sam Bean and Helen (Goodwin) Smith, Lonaconing. She also was preceded in death by a special family member, Aus Goodwin.
Mrs. Beeman was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing, and the Central Alumni Association.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband, Paul F. Beeman, Lonaconing; one daughter, Linda Ann Hamilton and husband Rick, Lonaconing, one son, Larry Paul Beeman and wife Becki, Lonaconing; five grandchildren, Travis Ryan Beeman, Jennifer Marie Beeman, Jessica Lauren Beeman, Keith Alan Fairgrieve and wife Christina, and Michael Paul Hamilton; mother-in-law, Catherine (Timney) Beeman, a patient at Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing; three sisters, Sandra L. Doyle, Mo., Brenda Bennett, Shaft, and Betty Rae Dawson, Lonaconing; three brothers, Jim McKinley, Cresaptown, Ronnie Smith and Wayne Smith, Lonaconing; several nieces and nephews; and special family members, Phyllis Rankin, Lonaconing, Les Goodwin, Bel Air, and Colleen Kuhn, Stow, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., 8 East Main St., Lonaconing, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted there Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Mortimore officiating.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

EDNA M. CRUTHERS
CUMBERLAND - Edna M. Cruthers, 79, of the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Boone Street, Cumberland, died Friday, April 2, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 18, 1920, in Frostburg, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Cruthers, on Jan. 5, 1997; and two sisters.
Mrs. Cruthers was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Vivian May Turner, and one son, David Edward Cruthers, both of Cumberland; one brother, Howard Winebrenner, Baltimore; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at noon with the Rev. Wayne R. Turner officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.
DONNA R. BROOKE
CUMBERLAND - Donna Rae Brooke, 61, of Cumberland, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 9, 1938, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Grace (Smith) Shaffer. She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Lewis Brooke.
Mrs. Brooke had been employed by St. Mary's Clinic, the Allegany County Heath Department, and Willow Valley as a health care sitter and adult day care provider. She was Methodist by faith. She also belonged to the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, Robert C. Brooke, Cumberland; her daughter, Lisa R. Brooke, Cresaptown; and her five grandchildren, Ashley Fabbri and Jason Scarlett, both of Cresaptown, Michael Brooke, Cumberland, Michelle Brooke, Connecticut, and Mandy Farren, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd Rinehart, Jr., officiating.
Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

VIVIAN L. COLBERT
CUMBERLAND - Vivian Lee "Bibby" Colbert, 79, of 418 Pine Ave., Cumberland, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Major Thomas Lee and the late Eva Rose (Johnson) Lee Ashby. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Lee Peck and Parthenia Lee Jones; and brother, Major Thomas Lee, Jr.
Mrs. Colbert was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, William A. Colbert, Jr.; one son, William A. Colbert III and wife Jeanne, Cumberland; she was a devoted grandmother of four grandchildren, Clayonia "Yonia" Colbert Dorsey and husband Neal, Gaithersburg, Dana Colbert-Mackey and husband Daryl, Alexandria, Va., Miss Kecia M. Colbert, Cumberland, William "Billy" A. Colbert IV, Alexandria, Va.; four great-grandchildren, Anynia Dorsey and Duaeno Dorsey, Dominique Mackey, Daynna Mackey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the McKendree Methodist Church on Paca Street, Cumberland.
Burial will be in Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
JAMES E. ALDRIDGE
CUMBERLAND - James Edward Aldridge, 64, of 508 Talbot St., Cumberland, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 2, 1935, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Oliver George Aldridge and Emma E. (Easton) Aldridge.
Mr. Aldridge was a retired employee of A.B.L. Laboratories. He was a member of the Cumberland Moose Lodge #271 and the Cumberland Eagles #245. Jimmy was a quiet, but devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Mary "Susie" Ruth (Mauck) Aldridge, Cumberland; one daughter, Vicki Collins and husband Marvin Jr., Cumberland; one son, Mark Aldridge and fiancé Joyce Ours, LaVale; three sisters, Lula Vassalo, Cumberland, Mary Pettie, Cumberland, and Bonnita Hedrick, Cumberland; two brothers, George O. Aldridge, Cumberland, and William Aldridge, Cumberland; and two grandchildren, Erika Lee Collins and Candace Marie Collins.
