MARY A. BOLDEN
FROSTBURG Mary Ann Bolden, 99, of 1188 Sampson Rock Road, Frostburg, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Jan. 21, 1900, in Finzel, she was the daughter of the late Casper Dress and Anna (Kiedel) Dress. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bolden; a daughter, Eleanor Werner; and a son, Robert Bolden.
Mrs. Bolden was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Pa.
Surviving are one son, Oliver Bolden and wife Evelyn, Finzel; three daughters, Pauline Arnone and husband James, Frostburg, Wilda Dunn and husband Robert, and Sylvia Baer, all of Finzel; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at the funeral home Monday at 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Pa., on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father Bernard White officiating.
Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery, Finzel.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas.
PATSY J. BOLYARD
SWANTON - Patsy Jean "Pat" Bolyard, 50, of 15944 Maryland Highway, Swanton, died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Maryland Route 36 near Barton.
Born July 30, 1949, at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of Otis A. and Virginia M. (Spitzer) Metcalfe of Keyser. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Derek Anthony Delilo.
Mrs. Bolyard was employed as a licensed practical nurse with both the Egle Nursing Home in Lonaconing, and the Hampshire Health Care Center in Romney, W.Va. She also was formerly employed as a beautician in the area, and at the former National Bank of Keyser. She was a 1967 graduate of Keyser High School and a graduate of the Tri-State Beauty Academy of Cosmetology in Cumberland. She earned her nursing degree from the Mineral County Vo-Tech LPN Curriculum and was attending Allegany College, studying in the medical secretary field. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church Westernport, and was an active parent supporter in all of her children's school activities.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, L. Stanley Bolyard; one son, Sgt. Edward J. Delilo serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Twenty-nine Palms, Calif.; one daughter, Jennie Lea Delilo, at home; two stepdaughters, Tammy Crider and husband Chris, Virginia Beach, Va., and Jennifer De Gasperin and husband Jimmy, Kingwood, W.Va.; one stepson, Timothy L. Bolyard, Morgantown, W.Va.; one brother, Michael A. Metcalfe, Keyser, W.Va.; one sister, Norma Clark, Keyser, W.Va.; paternal grandmother, Catherine Metcalfe, Keyser, W.Va, ; and one grandson, Jacob Ryan.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, W.Va., on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Father James Hannon as celebrant.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
ADA L. CLARK
CUMBERLAND - Ada Lucille Clark, 75, of 229 Baltimore Ave., Cumberland, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at her home.
Born Oct. 27, 1923, in Leadmore, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Garfield Canan and Minnie Alice (Bucklew) Canan. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilbert Clark on Aug. 20, 1995.
Mrs. Clark was a former employee of the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America. She was a member of the Fairview Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Janice L. Bennett and husband Clifton, York, Pa.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m.
A memorial service will be conducted there Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Clifton W. Bennett II officiating.
Mrs. Clark's cremated remains will be interred at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
MARY R. CONIFF
CUMBERLAND - Mary Rita Coniff, 62, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born April 26, 1937, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Ruth E. (Hart) Coniff. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph B. Coniff and J. Stan Coniff; and one nephew, Mark Stakem.
Miss Coniff was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital on three South. She was formerly employed by the office of Dr. Weisman.
Miss Coniff was a 1955 graduate of the Catholic Girl Central High School and a 1958 graduate of Saint Agnes Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church and the Church Sodality.
Surviving are two sisters, R. Jeannine Coniff and Cecelia L. Stakem and husband Robert, all of Cumberland; one sister-in-law, Julie Coniff, Huntington, W.Va.; two nieces, Sally A. Seward and husband Edward, Cumberland, and Molly Rider and husband John, Landsdale, Pa.; two nephews, Robert P. Stakem Jr., Houston, Tex., and Eric Stakem and wife Karen, Gaithersburg; four great-nephews, Matthew E. Seward, Justin M. Seward, Garrett P. Seward and Patrick J. Rider; and three great-nieces, Sarah H. Rider, Annie N. Rider and Katherine A. Stakem.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake will be conducted Monday at 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church on Tuesday at 9 a.m. with Monsignor Thomas R. Bevan and the Rev. Gary Stakem, O.F.M., Cap. as celebrants.
Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery.
WINIFRED C. BOND
CUMBERLAND - Winifred C. Bond, a former Cumberland resident, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Baltimore. She was 83.
Born Aug. 18, 1916, she lived in the home of her daughter, Sharon Swartzbaugh and husband George in Baltimore. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin. Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Pumphreys and son Benjamin; two grandchildren, George III and Hector Hoyas; and cousin Margaret Flurshutz of Cumberland.
The Hartley-Miller Funeral Home, 7527 Hartford Road, Baltimore, is conducting funeral arrangements.
Services will be held at Nativity Episcopal Church on York Road, Baltimore, on Friday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in the Moreland cemetery in Baltimore.
RINALDO ARNOLD "CHICK" CICCANTI
LAVALE - Rinaldo Arnold "Chick" Ciccanti, 76, of LaVale, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Aug. 20, 1922, in Conshohocken, Pa., he was the son of the late Domenica and Clementine (Cannella) Ciccanti. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Mae (Hardman) Ciccanti; one brother, Amerigo "Harry" Ciccanti; and six sisters, Joan Fazio, Rose Camaioni, Mary Stuffo, Clara Fazio, Emma Salamone and Josephine Carbo.
Mr. Ciccanti was a retired glassworker at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, Cumberland. He was self employed in the home improvement business. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II, a graduate of St. Matthew High School, Conshohocken, a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland, the Cumberland Eagles Aerie #245, Knights of Columbus Cumberland Council #586, and American Legion Fort Cumberland Post #13. He was recently awarded a military citation for his participation in the Battle of Iwojima during World War II. This was presented to him during the 50th anniversary of V.J. Day, which marked the conclusion of World War II.
Surviving are one son, Rick A. Ciccanti and wife, Barbara, LaVale; two daughters, Toni L. Ciccanti and Rick Haugh, Seattle, Wash., Kimberly A. Leavitt and husband, Mark, Columbus, Ohio; one grandson, Aaron "Rick" Ciccanti, LaVale; two brothers, Anthony "Denny" Ciccanti, Seattle, Francis "Franny" Ciccanti, Torrance, Calif.; and two sisters, Anne Bruno, Blue Bell, Pa., and Margaret Licata, Conshohocken. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

JAMES A. CONDON
YORKTOWN, Ind. - James A. Condon, 71, of Yorktown, formerly of Gaston, died Thursday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Muncie, the son of Elmer J. and Edna M. (Turner) Condon, and graduated from Central High School in 1946. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and received a BS degree in business administration from Ball State University in 1980. He worked for Maxon Corp. where he was General Manager of Engineering for 42 years until retiring in 1990.
Mr. Condon was a member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church, Muncie Noon Kiwanis, and in his early years was active in scouting.
Surviving are three sons, James A. Condon II and wife Cathy, Ridgeley, W.Va., Michael L. Condon and wife Connie, Yorktown, and Timothy W. Condon and wife Ann, Muncie; seven grandchildren; three great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; his mother, Edna M. Condon, Cambridge City; and four sisters, Jacqueline Schmidt and husband Bud, Cambridge City, Barbara Perry, Wabash, Reva Johnson and husband J.D., Vevay, and Mary Schwer and husband Skip, Selma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria (Gibson) Condon; his father; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Perry.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Meeks Mortuary Chapel, Saturday at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.
