M. EVANGELINE COULEHAN
LAVALE - M. Evaneline "Twiggy" Coulehan, 88, of LaVale, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at her residence.
Born Aug. 14, 1911, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Torreyson and Mildred (Pennington) Twigg. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachel Coulehan Gehauf, in 1971.
Mrs. Coulehan was a Catholic by faith, a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Charter member of LaVale Century Club, Charter member of LaVale Library Association, member of Daughter of American Revolution, the Women's Civic Club, and a volunteer at the Allegany Chapter of the American Red Cross. She was a 1929 graduate of Allegany High School, and 1932 graduate of Allegany Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, and Allegany Hospital, Cumberland.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Joseph M. Coulehan, married
Jan. 13, 1940; two daughters, Martha Johanna (Coulehan) Gehauf and husband, Arthur Henry Gehauf, Frederick, Sheila M. (Coulehan) Rowe and husband, W. Jay Rowe, Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren, Seth Joseph Gehauf and wife, Julie Ann Gehauf, Cincinnati, Ohio, Kirstin Twigg Rowe McConnell and husband, Kees McConnell, Arlington, Va., Erin Harney Rowe, Los Angeles, Calif.; devoted companion, her dog, Sweetie; devoted niece, Marietta Boyle Smith and husband, Warren Smith; devoted friends, Neal and Karin Blizzard and their family; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and very good friends.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake on Monday at 6 p.m.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Marvin Justi, O.F.M., Cap, as celebrant.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

JANET L. CORBIN
MCCOOLE - Janet Ledine Corbin, 71, of 21511 Chesapeake Ave., S.W., McCoole, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Dec. 22, 1927, in Cabin Run, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Myrtle V. (Dawson) Rogers. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Markle.
Mrs. Corbin was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Cumberland.
Surviving are her husband, Paul S. Corbin Sr.; one son, Paul S. Corbin Jr. and wife Mollie, Keyser, W.Va.; one daughter, Tammie L. Haggerty and husband Richard, Keyser, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Sherrie Tichinel, Randy Corbin, Eric Corbin, Mindy Pearce, Nikki Haggerty and Toby Haggerty; and eight great-grandchildren, Cassie, Steven and Jessica Tichinel, Rebecca, Nichole and Brittany Corbin, and Sami and Tiffani Pearce.
Mrs. Corbin also will be deeply missed by two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Markle and Sherman Corbin, both of Keyser, W.Va.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, W.Va., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Harry Copen officiating.
Interment will be in the Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser, W.Va.
KENNETH V. 'K.B.' BOSLEY
OAKLAND - Kenneth V. 'K.B.' Bosley, 73, of George Washington Highway, Oakland, died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at his home.
Born on Sept. 16, 1925, in Gormania, W.Va., he was the son of the late Evers O. and Estella O. (Dilgard) Bosley. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward O. Bosley.
He was self employed, owning and operating the Backbone Mountain Service Station from 1959 until retirement in 1992. He and his wife also owned and operated the Backbone Mountain Inn until 1976, and currently own and operate the Maryland Motel. He also was owner and operator of K.B. Trucking. He was a former elder of the Gormania Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Mount Storm Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the LSM 229 in the Philippines. He was a life member of the Mount Storm V.F.W. Post #6735, Mount Storm, W.Va., and was a member of the American Legion Proctor Kildow Post #71, Oakland. He was a 47-year member of the Thomas-Fairfax Lodge #174 A.F. & A.M., Thomas, W.Va., and was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies of Freemasonry, Cumberland Ali Ghan A.N.O.N.M.S. Cumberland. He was a 46-year member of the National LSM-LSMR Association, and a member of the Walter Chapter #43 Order of the Eastern Star, Davis, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita L. (Allman) Bosley; one daughter, Gale L. Legeer, Baltimore; four sons, David A., Thomas E., James V., and Daniel B., all of Oakland; two sisters, Lois B. Seal and Shirley B. Coffman, both of Baltimore; and nine grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Services will be held at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, on Sunday, May 2, 1999, at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Watterworth and the Rev. Charles Pollock officiating.
Interment will be in the Pope Cemetery.
A Masonic service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by members of the various veterans organizations in southern Garrett County.

MABEL L. BOSTWICK
WAYNESBORO, Va. - Mabel LaRue Bostwick, 65, of Waynesboro, died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 13, 1999, at Augusta Medical Center.
Born Jan. 12, 1934, in Staunton, Va., she was the daughter of the late Felix Berton and Maggie Mae (Hutton) Dutton.
Survivors include a son, Scott Clanton Anchors, of Waynesboro, who graduated Frostburg State University; and a daughter, Deborah Mae Anchors, of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 15, at the New Hope United Methodist Church, at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Thornrose Cemetery, Staunton.

EVA CORDRAY
CUMBERLAND - Eva (Hunt) Cordray, age 85, LaQuinta, Calif., formerly of Morgantown, W.Va., died May 29, 1999.
Mrs. Cordray was born in Cumberland on Nov. 23, 1913, the daughter of the late John W. and Agnes (Garrett) Hunt. She also was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Cordray Sr.; a sister, Cecelia (Hunt) Wight of Cairo, Ga.; and a brother, Charles W. Hunt, Cumberland.
She was a graduate of Pennsylvania Avenue High School, Class of 1931. A retired registered nurse, she was a graduate of City Hospital School of Nursing, Morgantown, and had lived most of her adult life in Morgantown.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Anne Barabe, LaQuinta, with whom she resided, and Ellison Hunt Cordray, M.D., Angels Camp, Calif.; a son, James W. Cordray Jr. and his wife Joyce, Maidsville, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Emily and Brent Cordray; and one sister, Martha Lee Schelble, Cumberland.
Interment will be in Morgantown, W.Va.
The Hastings Funeral Home, Morgantown, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
ROBERT C. BOWERS
SUITLAND - Robert C. Bowers, 76, of Suitland, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, June 6, 1999. He was the beloved husband of Doris E. Bowers and loving father of Barbara Jean Campbell, Sharon Lee and Sandra Lee Bowers. He also is survived by three grandchildren, Billy Joe Aris, Jerrold Campbell and Catherine Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Aris and Addie Bleu Campbell; and one brother, Ralph Bowers, Marietta, Ga.
He was a graduate of Allegany High School.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Md., Sunday, June 27, 1999, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
ELBERT T. BROADWATER
RAWLINGS - Elbert T. Broadwater, 82, of 23512 McMullen Highway, Rawlings, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at his residence.
Born Sept. 9, 1916, at Pine Swamp, he was the son of the late Mortimore and Ida (Bittinger) Broadwater. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. (Fazenbaker) Broadwater, in January 1999.
Mr. Broadwater retired from Westvaco Corp. with 40 years of service, having worked in the main lab of tech service. He was Pentecostal by faith.
Surviving are one son, Elbert T. Broadwater Jr. and wife Frances of Rawlings; two daughters, Helena Bittinger and husband Bernard of Frostburg, and Colleen Pfaff and husband Melvin of Williamsport; two sisters, Mary Christine Smith of Cuppett Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland, and Margaret Green of Keyser, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday, March 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Boal Chapel on Tuesday, March 2, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Loar officiating.
Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
