MILDRED MAE "MILLIE" DURST
GRANTSVILLE - Mildred Mae "Millie" Durst, 71, of 22 Dorsey Hotel Road, Grantsville, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Aug. 9, 1927, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Earl Thomas and Sarah Katherine (Broadwater) Frickey.
Mrs. Durst was co-owner of Casselman Valley Ledgestone, along with her husband. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Meyersdale, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Salisbury, Pa., and a charter member of Grantsville Post #214, American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Willis E. Durst; two sons, William T. Frickey and Michael E. Frickey, both of Grantsville; a daughter, Kelly K. Durst, Frostburg; a foster sister, Rosalie Jones, Riverdale; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Frickey.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.
Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery.

PATRICIA DURST
FROSTBURG - Patricia Ann Morgan Durst, 68, of Frostburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Center, Frostburg.
Born March 7, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Iona Morgan Diehl.
Surviving are two daughters and one son, Audrey L. Wilson, Frostburg, Lynn D. Lyerly, Front Royal, Va., and Martin R. Green, Frostburg; a sister, Constance Marchitelli, Annapolis; six grandsons; and four granddaughters.
Ms. Durst was a member of St. Michael's Church and graduated from St. Michael's Parochial School. She later graduated from Beall High School, class of 1949, and was crowned Miss Frostburg the same year.
The body will be cremated with no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date under the arrangements of Father Paul Byrnes of St. Michael's Church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 111 S. George St., Cumberland, MD 21502.

ANNA M. FLOYD
PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Anna Mae Floyd, 68, of Pine Mountain, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at her home.
Born June 30, 1931, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Theodore and Catherine McGregor Haenftling.
Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, World War II, Navy Veteran, she was the widow of Harry Cline Floyd, Sr., and had lived in Pine Mountain for 23 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Anne Floyd and Vicki Floyd, both of Pine Mountain; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Harry C. (Jan) Floyd, Jr., and Raymond Floyd, all of Pine Mountain; one granddaughter, Mary Floyd, of LaGrange; one sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Johnny) Morgan, of Cumberland; one brother, Paul Hainftling, of Cumberland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Cox Funeral Home, Hamilton, Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the Salem United Methodist Church, Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David Phillips, officiating.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
DOROTHY S. DYCHE
ROGERS, Ark. - Dorothy Snyder Dyche, 83, of Rogers, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born Oct. 24, 1915, in Hagerstown, Md., the daughter of the late J. Kenneth Snyder and Emma L. Nixon Snyder.
She moved to Rogers in the 1970s from Berea, Ohio. She was a lifetime homemaker. She enjoyed classical music, birds, and gardening, and all of nature. She was very active in the Berea Historical Society.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Dyche, of Rogers, whom she married
June 23, 1934; a son, James W. Dyche, Fairfax, Va.; a daughter, Diana K. Edwards, Lubbock, Texas; one brother, John Snyder, Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Ada Lu McCord, Austin, Texas, Jean Donohue and Gail Knox, both of Arnold, Md.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Dyche Lett, in February 1984.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Burns Funeral Home, Rogers.
MARGARET CHAMBERS GEHAUF
DENVER, Colo. - Margaret Chambers Gehauf, 83, of Denver, formerly of Eckhart, Md., died April 7, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Eckhart.
On Sept. 23, 1944, in Maryland, she married
Charles R. Gehauf, who preceded her in death in 1981.
In 1947 they moved to Denver. Mrs. Gehauf was a homemaker.
She was a member of Altar & Rosay Society at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Denver. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
Surviving are six sons, Bob Gehauf, Arvada, Ron Gehauf, Wheat Ridge, Joel Gehauf, Arvada, Gene Gehauf, Houston, Texas, Lee Gehauf, Denver, Les Gehauf, Aurora; two daughters, Margo Hass, Tacoma, Wash., Janis Plummer, Wonder Lake, Ill.; a brother, Bill Chambers, Camp Springs, Md.; three sisters, Louise Sittig, Columbia, Md., Eileen Cumisky, Columbus, Ga., and Jeannie Baker, LaVale, Md.
Services were conducted at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Denver, on April 12 with Father Manuel Gabel officiating.
Interment was in the Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
The Newcomer Family Mortuary & Crematory, Lakewood, Colo., was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in her name to St. Catherine of Sienna School.
SIDNEY W. 'SID' EARLE SR.
FROSTBURG - Sidney W. 'Sid' Earle Sr., 93, of Frostburg, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at home, 108 Broadway, Frostburg.
Born Aug. 1, 1905, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Sidney M. Earle and Lillian (Corkran) Earle. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen V. (Kilgour) Earle; and two brothers, Fred and James.
Mr. Earle was a graduate of Penn State University in 1928. He taught at VPI and was employed at the U.S.D.A. in Beltsville, and retired from the National Geographic Society, later working at the Maryland Book Exchange. He was an award-winning breeder of show pigeons. He also served as secretary/treasurer of the American Pigmy Pouter Club, was on the board of directors, and was honored with a lifetime membership of that organization. He was a past volunteer fireman at College Park V.F.D. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Germantown, Philadelphia.
Surviving are one son, Sidney W. Earle Jr., Barnesville; three daughters, Lillian Earle, with whom he resided, Frostburg, Helen Holmes and husband, Sam, Laurel, and Charlene Earle and special friend, David Lemley, Morgantown, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Lorrie Ward, Suzannah Earle, Rhonda Washington, Sammy Holmes Jr., and Matthew Earle; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two nephews; one niece; and a special caregiver, Max Scardina.
The body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be conducted at Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., on Friday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Virginia R. Rye officiating.
Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery.
