IDA M. ELDER
CUMBERLAND - Ida Mae Bradour Elder, 91, formally of Bedford Street, Cumberland, and more recently of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, passed away Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born in Finzel, Md., Sept. 5, 1907, she was the daughter of the late John H. Bolden and the late Della (Martin) Bolden. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy W. Bradour, in 1975; her second husband, H. Chris Elder, in 1996; a brother, John C. Bolden; and a sister, Leona Cathcart.
Mrs. Elder was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church; a charter member and past president of the Cumberland Garden Club; and member of L.C.W. of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, AARP, and Centerville, Pa., Retired Citizens Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Bradour, Frederick; one grandson, Greg Armentrout, Frederick; one sister, Ruth Prichard, Frostburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John J. Duffus officiating.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery.
THOMAS H. ELDER
SWANTON - Thomas H. Elder, 79, of Glen Cove Circle, Swanton, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born on April 2, 1920, in Brookville, Pa., he was the son of the late Milton L. and Maude (Snyder) Elder.
Mr. Elder retired from Universal Atlas Cement, a division of U.S. Steel, Pittsburgh. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in engineering. He was an air force veteran of World War II and was a member of the Masonic lodge of Pittsburgh.
Surviving are his wife, Laura M. (Holmes)(Whiteman) Elder; one daughter, Donna C. Mohr, Canton, Ohio; one son, Danny Thomas, N. Canton, Ohio; one stepson, Gary Whiteman, Oakland; and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the Deep Creek Baptist Church next Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Donald Wilson, officiating.
Inurnment will be held in The Columbarium at Arlington National cemetery at a later date.

NELLIE M. GROVE
WESTERNPORT - Nellie M. Grove, 90, of 421 Hammond St., Westernport, died Monday, May 24, 1999, at Garrett Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born March 9, 1909, in Petersburg, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Lee Lease and Eleanor (Snyder) Lease Bosley Shoemaker. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Bosley; a brother, Carl Bosley; and a sister, Lyla Serber.
Mrs. Grove formerly worked at the Celanese Fibers Corporation, was a former manager of the Eagles Club in Piedmont, W.Va., and also worked at the Potomac Club in Westernport. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Westernport, where she was a member of the Altar Guild.
Surviving her are a son, Donald L. Grove and wife, Dot, Westernport; three brothers, Arno Bosley and Richard Bosley, both of Roy, Utah, "Curly"Clyde Bosley, St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Annabelle Wilkes, Westernport; two grandchildren, Ronald L. Grove and wife, Bev, David A. Grove and wife, Kathleen, all of Westernport; six great-grandchildren, Christie Kimble, Shawn Vinci, Jeff Grove, Michelle Grove, Aden Grove, Danielle Grove; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday, May 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Patrick Pierce officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
ROBERT L. FISHER
FROSTBURG - Robert L. Fisher, 70, of Frostburg, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born June 1, 1928, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth (Miller) Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was retired from Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1273, and Mountain Lodge #99, A.F. & A.M.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce (Pfaff) Fisher; four daughters, Bonnie L. Smith and husband, Greg, Frostburg, Susan Golden and husband, Randy, Corriganville, J. Lynn Jones and husband, Daniel, Midland, Barbara Patterson and husband, William, Midlothian; seven grandchildren, Tracey Miller and husband, Chip, Robert Golden, Wendy Petenbrink and husband, Donnie, Ryan and Justin Patterson, and Ashley and Jamie Smith; one great-grandchild, Brock Petenbrink; and one sister, Lois Chabot, LaVale.
At his request, the body will be cremated. There will be no visitation. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.

NELLIE M. GRAHAME
CUMBERLAND - Nellie May Grahame, 89, of 1908 Bedford St., Cumberland, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 25, 1909, in Barton, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Davis and the late Effie (Foye) Davis. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Grahame in 1978; and one brother, Roy Davis.
Mrs. Grahame was retired from the Allegany County Board of Education. She taught at the Pennsylvania Avenue Elementary School. She was a graduate of Barton High School Class of 1927, and Frostburg Normal School Class of 1929. After teaching many years, she returned to Frostburg State University and graduated in 1969 with a B.S. Degree. She was a member of the Martha Washington Chapter O.E.S. in Lonaconing, the Allegany County Retired Teachers Association, the Maryland State Retired Teachers Association, the National Retired Teachers Association, and the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph W. Grahame Jr. and wife Sandra, Elkins, W.Va., James R. Grahame, Cumberland, and John B. Grahame and wife Linda, Decatur, Mich.; one daughter, Louise VanMeter and husband, James, Ridgeley, W.Va.; two sisters, Patricia Knott and husband Everett, Bloomington, and Mary Elda McCormick, Lonaconing; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

JAMES E. GINEVAN
HAGERSTOWN - James E. Ginevan, 69, of 10711 Crystal Fall Drive, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born at Oldtown, Md., on March 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Elwood and Eva Pearl Shrout Ginevan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Wilma L. Pollock Ginevan; two daughters, Cheryl Augusts, New Castle, Del., Julie Cox, Wilmington, Del.; two sons, Warren Ginevan, New Castle, Wayne Ginevan, Newark, Del.; six sisters, Deloris Wagner, Oldtown, Ellen Davis, Churchville, Beverly Harkum, Pasadena, Doris Miller, Barton, Patsy Edwards, Hampton, Va., Linda Cross, Slanesville, W.Va.; two brothers, Randy Ginevan and Mouse Ginevan, both of Oldtown; three grandsons; four granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The family requests the omission of flowers, and memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
SARAH S. ELKINS
LONACONING - Sarah Sedella (Schriver) Elkins, 74, a resident of the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland, since Jan. 8, 1991, died at Garrett Memorial Hospital on Friday, Nov. 19, 1999.
Born April 4, 1924, in Moscow, she was a daughter of the late Sallis Jennings Schriver and Mary Edna (Beeman) Schriver. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John William Elkins.
Mrs. Elkins was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Darlene Lashley, Cumberland; two sons, Robert Elkins, Keyser, W.Va., and Kenneth Elkins, Manassas, Va.; one brother, Melvin Schriver and wife Rose, Moscow; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at 1 p.m. with Pastor William McCallister officiating.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
