EMMA M. LAMANNA
FROSTBURG - Emma M. (Ruffo) LaManna, age 102, formerly of 186 W. Main St., Frostburg, died Friday, April 16, 1999, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born Sept. 25, 1896, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosaria (Marra) Ruffo. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel LaManna; a son, William J. LaManna; four brothers, Frank Ruffo, Nutzy Ruffo, Samuel Ruffo and John Ruffo; four sisters, Rosina Maley, Margaret Mele, Antonietta Peretti and Mary Jenkins.
Mrs. LaManna was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances Watson, Coral Springs, Fla., and Ellen Lenkey, Frostburg; two brothers, Joe Ruffo, LaVale, and Carl Ruffo, Frostburg; three grandchildren, Carole Gray, Coral Springs, Jeanne Smith, Kenneth Square, Pa., and Sam LaManna, Frostburg; two great-grandchildren, Carl Smith and Robin Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Christian Wake service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. William Moody as celebrant.
Interment will be in the St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
RICHARD L. LARGENT
CUMBERLAND - Richard Luther Largent, 69, of 320 Independence St., Cumberland, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 8, 1930, in Braznell, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy Vincent Largent and the late Elizabeth Catherine (Harris) Largent.
Mr. Largent was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Surviving are a sister, Betty June (Largent) Wright, Ridgeley, W.Va.; a brother, Vincent S. Largent, Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., with the Rev. Wayne R. Turner officiating.
Interment will be in Maryland Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
Military honors will be accorded at graveside by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
WILLIE N. LEWIS
OAKLAND - Willie N. "Bud" Lewis, 87, of E. Reese St., Oakland, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at his home.
Born on April 7, 1912, in Crellin, he was the son of the late Alex and Virginia (Ours) Lewis.
He was a member of the Oakland Church of the Nazarene and worked as a plumber for A.D. Naylor's and Sons for over 41 years. After retirement he continued his 60 plus years hobby of repairing Maytag washing machines. Mr. Lewis was a retired member of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary M. (Gower) Lewis; one daughter, Betty M. Sell, Oakland; one son, William E. "Sonny" Lewis, Lorraine, Ohio; one sister, Elsie Browning, Leavittsburg, Ohio; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Oakland Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Art Evans, officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
Pallbearers will be members of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.
ROBERT G. HAUSMAN
DOVER, N.H. - Robert G. Hausman, 57, of Strafford Road, Dover, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at the Wentworth-Douglas Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Cumberland, Md., the son of Gilbert and Cora Mae (Schaidt) Hausman. He was educated in Cumberland schools, graduating from Fort Hill High School in 1959.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, serving eight years. He had been employed as a ship fitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for more than 20 years.
Hausman was very active in the Masons. He was past master of Strafford Lodge No. 29, present treasurer of Strafford Lodge, past priest of Belknap Chapter No. 8, present treasurer of Belknap Chapter, past Ill. Master of Orphan Council No. 1, present treasurer of Orphan Council, a member and present treasurer of St. Paul's Commandry No. 5, a 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rites, a member of Profile Coledge No. 100, and a member of Scenic Council of Knight.
He also was active in St. John's United Methodist Church, where he served as head usher for many years. He also enjoyed sports.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, C. Jean (Leasure) Hausman of Dover; his mother of Cumberland, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Scott (Robin) Roberge of Milton and Mrs. Brandon (Wendy) Karcher of Somersworth; three grandchildren, Zachary, Seth and Emily Roberge; a brother, Kenneth H. Hausman of Cumberland, Md.; and nephews.
Friends may call at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, Central Avenue, Dover, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Earl Custer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

NORMA J. LANCASTER
CUMBERLAND - Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. (Proverbs 31:10)
Norma J. Lancaster, 63, of 14008 Valley Road, N.E., Cumberland, was ushered into the presence of her Savior, Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Oct. 1, 1935, in Moscow, she was the daughter of the late J. Francis Fazenbaker and Ruth E. Fazenbaker of Virginia.
Mrs. Lancaster was the wife of the Rev. J. W. Lancaster, Pastor of the Highland Baptist Church, Cumberland. She was an active member of the church for the past 25 years. Prior to that, she helped her husband to start the Bible Baptist Church, Barton, in 1966. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and sang duets and trios over the years. She worked in the office of the church and the nurseries. She was a wonderful pastor's wife and mother.
Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her mother, her husband of 43 years, the Rev. Jack W. Lancaster; two sons, Johnny and wife Janice, Ravenna, Ohio, and Jack and wife Larnet, Little Orleans; four daughters, Norma Peck and husband Robert, Barton, Elizabeth Sneden, Clorinda Calhoun and husband Michael, and Diane Singleton and husband Raymond, all of Cumberland; two sisters, Darlene Meese and husband Harry, Virginia, and Donna McPartland and husband Richard, Taneytown; one uncle, Joseph Broadwater, Barton; mother-in-law, Letta Lancaster, Rawlings, eight brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Highland Baptist Church, 11911 Messick Road, Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Services will be conducted at the Highland Baptist Church on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Downing Gregory, assisted by the Rev. Sam Thompson, the Rev. Dallas Bunch, and the Rev. Chuck Madaus officiating.
Interment will be in the Waxler Cemetery, Danville.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Bishop and Art Golden. Pallbearers will be Scott Dixon, Rick Rader, Dave Roach, Ron Roach Jr., Tony Wilburn and Jack Wratchford.
