MARGARET C. HUMBERTSON
LITTLE ORLEANS - Margaret C. Humbertson, 55, of Little Orleans, died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born May 19, 1943, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marjorie (Evans) Clark. She was also preceded in death by one son, David W. Humbertson, June 14, 1992.
Mrs. Humbertson was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, George Humbertson Sr.; two daughters, Marjorie Morgan and husband, Earl, Little Orleans, Sandy Hersh and husband, Jason, Cumberland; two sons, George Humbertson Jr. and wife, Joyce, Edward Humbertson and wife, Sharon; one sister, Janice Hodel and husband, Leon, all of New Castle, Del.; five brothers, Roger Clark and wife, Ellen, Phillip Clark and wife, Glenda, all of Cumberland, Larry Clark, Frank Clark, both of Frostburg, and Gary Clark, Cumberland; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Kelly, Michael, Teddy, Justine, Jessica, Jimmy, David and Heather.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Denny Michael officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Church Cemetery, Artemas, Pa.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Humbertson, Teddy Humbertson, Jason Hersh, Larry Clark, Frank Clark and Fred Durham.

RONALD INGRAM
CUMBERLAND - Ronald "Rock" Ingram, 67, of Old Towne Manor, Cumberland, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 26, 1932, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Vincent P. and Angela (Clay) Ingram. He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Ronda Sue and one brother, Clay Ingram.
Mr. Ingram was a retired supervisor for PPG Industries where he worked for 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving four years aboard the U.S.S. Macon CA 132 as a gunner's mate. He was a five year board member of Archway Station and was chairman of the board for two years. He was an active volunteer at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where he had been a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society. He volunteered cutting grass in the church's cemetery. "Rock" was active in youth sports having coached 14 years in the Catholic Youth League. He coached both at St. Mary's for six years and St. Patrick's for eight years. He also coached in the Little League and Hot Stove for several years. He was a 25-year member of the Tri-State Umpire Association, member of Cumberland Eagles 245 and the American Legion Post 13.
Surviving are five sons, Michael P. Ingram, Patrick V. Ingram, both of Cumberland, Ronald J. Ingram, Denver, Colo., William "Bill" Ingram and wife, Kathy, Johnstown, Pa., Gregory Ingram and wife, Kim, Strasburg, Pa.; two daughters, Lisa Ingram, Gaithersburg, Michele DeWakar and husband, Sunny, Springfield, Va.; one brother, William "Mud" Ingram; one aunt, Mary Clay; 13 grandchildren, whom she loved very much, Joey, Christine, Catrina, Matthew, Sean, Stephen, Kelly, Anjuli, Neil, Maya, Neha, Samantha, and Cassidy.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake, Wednesday at 9 p.m.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Thursday at 9 a.m. with the Msgr. Thomas R. Bevan, officiating.
Interment will be in SS. Peter Paul Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the combine veterans honor guard.
Memorial contributions may be make to Archway Station and Cancer research.
Pallbearers will be Raymond "Buck" Gephart, Harold "Butch" Hendershot, Lou Van Hollern, John Esposito, Cas Taylor, and Bob Harden.
GARY R. KELLEY
CUMBERLAND - Gary Richard Kelley, 38, of 846 Gephart Drive, Cumberland, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born Jan. 11, 1961, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Leonard Ellsworth Kelley and F. Jewell Kelley-MaBee, of Cumberland, and her friend, Jim Winters. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael MaBee.
Mr. Kelly was a former employee of Gehauf's Best Western.
Besides his mother and Mr. Winters, he is survived by his fiancee, Cindy S. Hare, Cumberland; a son, Travis Kelley, Cumberland; two stepsons, Richard Kerns, Ft. Campbell, KY, Jayson Nixon, Cumberland; a brother, Greg MaBee, Cumberland; and a sister, Cyndi Brotemerkle, Melborne, Fla.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 8 p.m. with the Rev Tom Landaker, officiating.
At Mr. Kelley's request, his remains are to be cremated following the service.
VIRGINIA L. "GINGER" HUPFER
BOWIE - Virginia L. "Ginger" Hupfer, of Bowie, formerly of Cumberland, died Saturday, July 3, 1999.
She was the beloved wife of Max Hupfer; loving mother of Daniel J. Hupfer; daughter of Evelyn L. Lillard and the late William Harry Lillard; sister of Carole Clancy and Jeanne (Hopcraft) Hennessy.
Relatives and friends may call at The Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, Route 450 and Race Track Road, Bowie, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland, on Wednesday, July 7, at 2 p.m.
VIRGINIA HUPFER
BOWIE - Virginia "Ginger" Hupfer died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at her home in Bowie.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Evelyn Lillard and the late William Harry Lillard. She is survived by her husband Max and son, Daniel J. of Bowie. She also was the sister of Carole Clancy, Bowie, and Jeanne (Hopcraft) Hennessy, Silver Spring.
Mrs. Hupfer retired after 22 years of service from the agriculture department of the U.S. government, where she worked in Washington, D.C., and more recently at the Research Center in Beltsville. She served in various capacities including accounting, procurement, secretary and symposium coordinator.
She was a devoted member of Mt. Oak Methodist Church, participated in the Bible study groups at the church, Cancer Survivors, and Best Years Luncheons. She and her husband participated in the Cancer Survival Walk in March. Mrs. Hupfer was a volunteer at the National Cancer Society's Discovery Shop in Bowie.
She was well-loved by her classmates and graduated with honors from Fort Hill High School in 1956. She attended Strayer Business College in Washington, D.C., where she studied accounting.
Mrs. Hupfer previously resided in Alexandria, Va., from 1956 to 1966 before marrying and moving to Maryland.
ERNEST A. IRONS
FORT MEADE - Ernest Andrew Irons, 50, of Fort Meade, died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at Fallston General Hospital.
Born March 15, 1949, in Cumberland, he was the son of James N. and Peggy Ann (O'Baker) Irons, Cumberland.
He was Protestant by faith. He had been in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, serving a tour in Italy.
Mr. Irons was a construction foreman in the Baltimore area.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Jordan Irons, Delta, Pa.; one brother, Roger L. Irons, Cumberland; two sisters, Jamie Rice and husband, Jesse W. Rice Jr., Fort Meade, and Sheila Irons, Cumberland; a niece, Elizabeth Ann Rice; and a nephew, Jesse W. Rice III.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Denny A. Michael officiating.
Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.
