JOSEPH L. MAUST
GRANTSVILLE - Joseph Lee Maust, 41, of 520 Crab Run Road, Grantsville, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, as a result of a farm tractor accident in Elk Lick Township, Pa.
Born March 28, 1958, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was the son of Paul A. and Lela V. (Bender) Maust, with whom he resided. He was preceded in death by one brother, David.
Mr. Maust was a member of the Mountain View Christian Fellowship, Salisbury, Pa., and was employed as a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Paul Ivan Maust, Carrollton, Texas, Ezra Allen Maust, Mount Airy, and Jonathan Mark Maust, Dover, Del.; four sisters, Rachel Matilda Maust and Naomi Ellen Maust, both of Harrisonville, Pa., Alma Ann Eby and husband Dale, Dundee, N.Y., and Esther Marie Beitzel and husband Richard, Meyersdale, Pa.; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mountain View Christian Fellowship. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Dry Run Cemetery, Bittinger.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to either the Mountain View Christian School or the A.M.A. Mission Program.
DOROTHY R. O'BAKER
BARRELVILLE - Dorothy "Dotty" Regina O'Baker, 71, of Barrelville Road, Mount Savage, died Friday, March 5, 1999, at her residence.
Born May 23, 1927, in Cumberland, Mrs. O'Baker was preceded in death in 1986 by her husband, Charles Edward O'Baker.
Mrs. O'Baker is survived by four sons, Gary, married
to Judi (Winebrenner), Ellerslie, Larry "Bummy" and Barry, both at home, and Charles, married
to Pam (Brunner), Barrelville; a daughter, Sherry Hotchkiss, married
to David, Mount Savage; three brothers, Robert Cessna, Glencoe, Pa., Thomas Cessna, Wellersburg, Pa., John Cessna, Barrelville, and Danny Cessna, Mount Savage; three sisters, Betty Brant, Cumberland, Marlyn O'Baker, Barrelville, and Shirley Witt, Wellersburg; and four grandchildren, Kari Cook, married
to Allen, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Larry O'Baker, Barrelville, Malynn and Olivia O'Baker, Barrelville.
Mrs. O'Baker, a homemaker, was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Barrelville Presbyterian Church and the Mount Savage Eastern Star.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Pa., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
JACOB E. MILLER
RANDALLSTOWN - Jacob Earl Miller, 80, of Randallstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, at the Randallstown Genesis Eldercare.
Born Sept. 11, 1919, in Ellerslie, he was the son of the late Harvey E. Miller and Bertha S. Barnhardt. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Coughenour.
Surviving are his wife, Rita E. (Brooks) Miller; four sons, Gregory E., Brian E., Donald E., and Ronald E. Miller; three brothers, Herbert C., John M., and Stanley E. Miller; three sisters, Alma Connor, Emily Smith and Lois Atkinson; three loving grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Loring Byers Funeral Directors Inc., 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Loring Byers Funeral Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Frederick officiating.
Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville.

CLARENCE R. MURPHY
HOUSTON, Texas - Clarence Rhodes Murphy, 83, of Houston, formerly of Frostburg, Md., passed away in his home, Saturday, April 24, 1999.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eva Miller Murphy; four children, Dennis, Southlake, Texas, Carol Brown, Laurel, Mont., Cindy Bartos, Houston, Texas, and David, Corpus Christi, Texas; and six grandchildren.
Clarence was an avid square dancer and was a member of several dance clubs and the Chevron Retirees. He was awarded 30 patents.
There will be a memorial service in Houston at the Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home, Champions location, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 1999.
A second memorial service will be held in Frostburg at a date to be announced later.
If so desired, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Houston Area Parkinson Society.

JAMES H. MCKENZIE SR.
YORK, Pa. - James H. McKenzie Sr., 53, of West Manchester Township, died Friday at 3:20 p.m. at York Hospital.
Born Jan. 4, 1946, in Lonaconing, Md., he was the son of LoVanna (Allen) McKenzie, of Frostburg, Md., and the late Joseph McKenzie.
Mr. McKenzie was most recently self-employed. He previously worked for Bi-Comp, York, York Gazette and Daily, and Progressive Typographers. He graduated in 1965 from Valley High School in Lonaconing, and also attended York Technical Institute of York. He was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, South Beaver Street, York.
Surviving is his wife Shirley (Hyde) McKenzie. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on Oct. 23. He also is survived by two sons, James H. McKenzie Jr. at home, and Tim McKenzie, York; two daughters, Kimberly Bixler, Hawaii, and Amanda McKenzie at home; three grandchildren; one brother, Melvin McKenzie, Somerset; and three sisters, Joann Spiker, Cathy Broadwater and Barbara McKenzie, all of Frostburg, Md.
Friends will be received at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 West Market St., York, Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be held there Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Burial will be private.

MARIAN I. MILLER
RAWLINGS - Marian I. Miller, 73, formerly of Rt. 3, Rawlings, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Sept. 13, 1926, in Patterson Creek, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Anna Belle Mariah (Chaney) Long. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Long.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and was a member of the Dawson United Methodist Church, Dawson.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Kile Miller; four sons, Richard Lynn Miller, Nathalie, Va., Kevin Lee Miller, Falling Waters, W.Va., Scott David Miller, Cumberland, and Craig Allen Miller, Laurel; one daughter, Debra Sue Davis, Rawlings; one brother, Richard Long, Hedgesville, W.Va., one sister, Louise Polce, Masontown, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, W.Va., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John F. Footen officiating.
Entombment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, LaVale.
