MARY L. MILLER
CUMBERLAND - Mary L. Miller, 91, of Southwest Bowling Street, Bowling Green, Cumberland, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, in Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born in Zihlman on Oct. 10, 1907, she was the daughter of the late George and Carrie (Harden) Lashbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin J. Miller, on Jan. 20, 1993; a sister, Carrie Lashbaugh Miller; and brothers, Clarence Lashbaugh and John Lashbaugh.
Mrs. Miller had been a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church for 75 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Ryder, Sewell, N.J.; two grandchildren, Rance Skidmore, Gaithersburg, and Beverly Young, Turnersville, N.J.,; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received in the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George A. Aist officiating.
Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park.
OMER L. MILLER
CUMBERLAND - Omer L. Miller, 75, of Fayette St., Cumberland, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on Sept. 28, 1924, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Murray L. and Pearl (Hannas) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane (Aman) Miller.
Mr. Miller was a former employee of the B&O; Railroad and retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He attended First Christian Church, Cumberland, and was a member of the Cumberland Outdoor Club.
Surviving are his wife, Carole T. McDade Miller; one son, Todd L. Miller, Roanoke, Va.; seven daughters, Bonnie Miller Koelle and husband, Irvin, Shelby, N.C., Fran McDade Burke-Angel and husband, Evan, Alexandria, Va., Sharon McDade Watson and husband, Linn, Cumberland, Nancy McDade Billard and husband, Frank, Cumberland, Gail McDade McNeelege and husband, Glenn, Forest, Va., Erin McDade Elkins and husband, Michael, Columbia, S.C., Michelle McDade, Cumberland; one sister, Mary Katherine Miller Hansel, Cumberland; 14 grandchildren; and one nephew.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the Pastor Kay White Barmoy, officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Eric Koelker, Ryan Burke, Mark Abellera, Shane McDade, sons-in-law, Frank Billard, and Linn Watson.
JEAN MUIR ORME
GERMANTOWN - Jean Muir Orme, 69, of Germantown and of Midland, died Friday, June 25, 1999, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, of complications from cancer.
She was the wife of the late Charles L. "Lindy" Orme, who died in 1995. Mrs. Orme was born April 16, 1930, in Midland, a daughter of the late James G. Muir Sr. and the late Janet McKinley Muir. She was a graduate of Beall High School, Frostburg. In 1948 she joined the Kensington branch of the Farmers Banking and Trust, now the First National Bank of Maryland. Later she transferred to the bank's Gaithersburg branch, where she served as bookkeeper, teller, and investments adviser, before retiring in 1988. She had been a Montgomery County resident for more than 50 years with homes in both Germantown and in Midland.
Mrs. Orme was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg, where she participated in a variety of activities. She was also a member of the Rookies Bowling League in Gaithersburg.
Surviving her are six sisters, Beatrice Ambrose, Gaithersburg, Betty Hartz, Frackville, Pa., Annabelle Yommer, Boonsboro, Hazel Fletcher, Damascus, Lillian Gilbert, Derwood, and Janet Harding, Jefferson; two brothers, James Gordon Muir, Rockville, and Robert Muir, Monrovia; 25 nieces and nephews; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by special friends, Joretta and Jimmy Ricker, LaVale.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, June 27, at the Olin L. Molesworth, P.A., Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 28, at Grace United Methodist Church, 119 N. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

KAIRELLE DANIEL MCKENZIE
CUMBERLAND - Kairelle Daniel McKenzie, infant son of Amy Marie McKenzie, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his grandparents, Dena Schiver and husband, Rick, Cumberland, Wayne McKenzie, Cumberland, Karen McKenzie, Ridgeley, W.Va.; great-grandparents, Dale and Sandy Whitacre, Cumberland, Margaret Stump, Baltimore, Mary Schiver, Frostburg; great-great-grandmother, Gertie Whitacre, Wiley Ford, W.Va.; one aunt, Adella McKenzie, Cumberland; and four uncles, Matthew and Paul McKenzie, both of Ridgeley, Ricky and Josh Schiver, Frostburg; and several other loving relatives.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Benny Brakeall officiating.

RAY MILLER
MCHENRY - Ray Miller, 83, of 590 Hoyes Road, McHenry, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at his residence.
Born April 27, 1916, in Hamilton, W.Va., he was a son of the late Howard M. and Minnie Mae (Broadwater) Miller.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Accident. He enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets. He was a member of Woodmen of the World Camp 11, Oakland, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired New Projects Inspector for the Maryland State Highway Administration, and had also been employed by Vetter Brothers Lime Quarry.
He is survived by his wife, D. Blanche (Wolfe) Miller; two sons, Arnold Miller, Huntington, W.Va., Paul C. Miller, Carbondale, Colo.; a brother, Glenn Miller, Northport, Ala.; two grandsons, Zachary A.M. Miller, and Elijah O.M. Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., McHenry, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Wilfred Karsten officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

LEAFIE L. OHLER
GRANTSVILLE - Leafie Lilly Ohler, 95, of 5969 Rehoboth Drive, Hope Mills, N.C., and formerly of Grantsville, died Thursday, March 25, 1999, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C.
Born Sept. 1, 1903, in Jennings, she was a daughter of the late Henry Platter Jr. and Anna Jemima (Handwerk) Platter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John D. Ohler; and a daughter, Elsie Brenneman.
She was a member of Bethesda Church of the Brethren, Grantsville.
Survivors include four daughters, Edith Collins, Dundalk, Viola Firle, Lakeland, Fla., Mabel Butler, Grantsville, Doris Atwood, Hope Mills, N.C.; a brother, Fenton Platter, Fincastle, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Matthews officiating.
Interment will be in the Bittinger Cemetery.
