TIMOTHY I. MILLER
GRANTSVILLE - Timothy I. Miller, 39, of 117 Main St., Grantsville, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born Sept. 7, 1959, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was a son of Della (Bender) Miller, Grantsville, and the late Ivan J. Miller.
Mr. Miller was a member of Maple Glen Mennonite Church and faithfully served on the parking committee. He was employed as a farmer.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, David Miller and wife, Erma, Irwin, Ohio, Philip Miller and Darlene, Baltimore, Stephen Miller and wife, Joni, Grantsville; six sisters, Esther Yoder and husband, Roy, Grantsville, Rachel Yoder and husband, Monroe, Bronx, N.Y., Miriam Maust and husband, Markle, Accident, Joanna Miller, Grantsville, Ruth Miller Yoder, Grantsville, Dorcas Lehman and husband, Glenn, Leola, Pa.; 22 nieces and nephews; and 25 great-nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Maple Glen Mennonite Church on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Philip Moser officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Glen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

WILLIAM J. MILLER
FOSTORIA, Ohio - William J. Miller, age 91, of 7495 N. Township Road 63, Fostoria, formerly of Mount Savage, Md., died Thursday, June 10, 1999, in Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
He ws born June 24, 1907, in Mount Savage, a son of the late Charles B. and Blanche (Lehman) Miller. He was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph, at birth; two sisters, Gerry Seever, Alice Comer; and two brothers, Thomas and Bernard Miller.
On June 14, 1934, he married
Verlee Rossman, who died Oct. 20, 1935. He then married
Mae V. Conway on July 5, 1937, who died Jan. 18, 1994.
Mr. Miller retired in 1970 from Union Carbide, Fostoria, after 44 years of service.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, Knights of Columbus Council #1197, Fostoria, and AARP.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Buss (Mary Kathryn) Groves, Tiffin, and Mrs. Gerry (Bonnie) Omlor, Fostoria; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Christian Wake service will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 8:30 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, Monday at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in the St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Seneca County Cancer Society or to St. Wendelin Catholic Church.
FLOYD E. PRESLEY SR.
LAVALE - Floyd E. Presley Sr., 86, of 12605 Henry Drive, S.W., LaVale, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at his home.
Born March 21, 1913, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Skinner) Presley.
Mr. Presley was retired from American Instrument Company, Silver Spring. He was a member of LaVale Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary (Ellington) Presley; two sons, Floyd E. Presley Jr. and wife, Sharon, Frostburg, and Henry Presley, Selbyville, Del.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Doug Strother officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
WILLIAM P. MILLER
BARTON - William P. "Barney" Miller, 80, of 19730 Sutherland Lane, Barton, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on Nov. 16, 1918, in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Edward S. and Leath (Coleman) Miller. He was also preceded in death by four sisters.
Mr. Miller was an active member of the Presbyterian Church, Barton, where he was a past Elder of the church. He was a member of the Barton Hose Company 1 for 61 years, where he previously served as the Past President, and as Chaplain. He was a member of the Allegany-Garrett County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, a member of the Maryland State Fireman's Association, where he served on the Executive Board and Board of Review, and also served as Sgt. of Arms. He was past President and chaplain of the Mike Walters Christian Firefighters Association and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters International. He was a member of the Allegany County Sheriff's Dept. Fire Police, a member of the Allegany Lodge 157 A.F. & A.M. for 55 years, a member of the Barton Lodge 94 I.O.O.F. a member of the Barton Senior Citizens, and a member and past president of the Cumberland El Fidel Club. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a Charter member of the Barton American Legion, Post 189 for 54 years.
He was a retired Master Mechanic with the Allegany County Roads Dept. and Brocks Scrap Metal, Cumberland.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 63 years, Madeline E. Miller; a brother, Edward S. Miller and wife Jean, Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Mildred Gould and husband James, Beaver Falls, Pa., and Marion Miller, Keyser, W.Va.; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Barton American Legion will hold a memorial service at the Chapel on Monday at 7:45 p.m. The Baron Lodge 157 A.F. & A.M. will hold a memorial service on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. and the Barton Hose Company 1, will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Barton Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Peter Leathersich.
Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Barton Hose Co., Tri-Towns Rescue and Ambulance Service, or Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing.
WINONA MILLER
LONACONING - Winona Koontz Miller, 95, of 16200 Old Beechwood Road, Lonaconing, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at her home.
Born on March 9, 1904, in Barton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Exie C. Koontz. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John D. 'Jeff' Miller, in 1974; and one grandchild, Dick Colmer.
She was known to her friends as 'Noan' Miller and was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing.
'Noan' is survived by her four children, Donald E. Miller of Midland, Betty Colmer Dye of Midland, Lois M. Green of Hagerstown, and John W. Miller of Hagerstown. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Mortimore officiating.
Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Moscow Mills, Md.

NANCY MILLIREN
FRIENDSVILLE - Nancy Fike Friend Milliren, 60, of Friendsville, formerly of Markleysburg, Pa., died Saturday, April 25, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born March 21, 1939, in Uniontown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ross E. and Jessie Workman Fike. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Friend, and two sons, Randall Scott and Robert E. Friend II, in June 1990.
Mrs. Milliren was a member of the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church, Friendsville.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Milliren; two sons, Gregory Allen Friend and wife Kristin of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Douglas Shawn Friend and wife Gina of Markleysburg, Pa.; two granddaughters, Julie and Rachel Friend of Markleysburg; two sisters, Doris Ackerman of Mentor, Ohio, and Judith Fearer of Pleasant Unity, Pa.; three brothers, Ross E. Fike Jr., Edward R. Fike and Harry J. Fike, all of Uniontown.
Friends will be received at the Rodney S. Turner Funeral Home, 254 Main St., Markleysburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and at the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church, Friendsville, on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the church on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Malik and the Rev. Donnie Hersom officiating.
Interment will follow in the Asher Glade Cemetery.
