MARGARET L. PAUGH
BLOOMINGTON - Margaret L. Paugh, 84, of 42 Virginia Ave., Bloomington, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Jan. 9, 1914, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Florence (Murphy) Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Paugh, in 1988; three brothers, Raymond Harris, Ed Harris and Alfred Harris; and three sisters, Charlotte Paugh, Alta Moon and Irene Morris.
Mrs. Paugh was a homemaker, a member of the Bloomington Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Society and the choir of the church. She was also a volunteer for the Moran Manor Nursing Home.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn George and husband, Earl, of Swanton, and Ellen Paugh and husband, Jerry, Elk Garden, W.Va.; one sister, Mary Paugh, Swanton; eight grandchildren, Margie Reel, Darius Paugh, Mischele Ervin, Marsha Paugh, Richard Paugh, Marlon George, Mark Paugh and Ronald Paugh; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Nelson officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.

THOMAS F. MCKENZIE
FROSTBURG - Thomas Franklin McKenzie, 82, a lifelong resident of Finzel, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Jan. 15, 1917, in Finzel, he was the son of the late Thomas A. "Davey" and Cora Mae (Steinly) McKenzie. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Naomi "Honey" Lindeman and Verna Caton; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Jean (Baer) McKenzie.
Mr. McKenzie was a retired farmer and former employee of the Celanese Fibers Corporation.
He was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.
Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Helen Lucinda (Caton) McKenzie; eight sons, Paul and wife, Mary, Clarksburg, Bernard, Salisbury, Pa., John and wife, Linda, Laurel, Harold and wife, Beverly, Severn, Larry and wife, Frances, Salisbury, Pa., Dale and wife, Gail, Frostburg, Charles and wife, Lynne, Finzel, and David and wife, Cindy, Meyersdale, Pa.; a brother, James A. McKenzie and wife, Clara, Finzel; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg , on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Saint Michael's Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Paul Byrnes, officiating.
Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Gary, Richard, Barry, Douglas, Mark, and Brian McKenzie. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons Bradley and Michael McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg.
JUNE A. PRYOR
CUMBERLAND - June A. Pryor, 65, of Humbird Street, Cumberland, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at her residence.
Born March 31, 1933, in Great Cacapon, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ovey and Olivia (Alderton) Shambaugh. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Shambaugh, Keith Shambaugh; and one sister, Mary Lou Shambaugh.
Mrs. Pryor was a homemaker and a former employee of the Cumberland Nursing Home. She attended Emmanuel Bethel United Methodist Church, was a member of McKinley Chapter #12 Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of Cumberland Moose Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence J. Pryor; one daughter, Debra Ramsey, Enola, Pa.; four sons, Keith Pryor and wife, Kimberly, Cumberland, Brian Pryor and wife, Teresa, Glen Geary, W.Va., Ronald Pryor Shambaugh and wife, Stephanie, Cumberland, Gregory Pryor, Cumberland; three sisters, Doris May Whiteman, Libby Witt and husband, Ray E., Ginny Carr and husband, Jim, all of Cumberland; five brothers, Ray Shambaugh and wife, Lois, Cumberland, Frank Shambaugh and wife, Kay, Short Gap, W.Va., Denny Shambaugh and wife, Donna, Enola, Pa., Richard Shambaugh, Cumberland, Steve Shambaugh and wife, Linda, LaVale; a sister-in-law, Sheila Shaffer and husband, Glenn, Cresaptown; 15 grandchildren, Kerri Pryor, Keith Pryor, Krystal Pryor, Jennifer Pryor, Brian Pryor II, Michael Pryor, Matthew Pryor, Kara Shambaugh, Ronnie Shambaugh Jr., Kevin Shambaugh, Frankie Shambaugh, Olivia Shambaugh, Nathan Ramsey, Lauren Ramsey and Leslie Pryor; and one great-grandson, Darick Pryor.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at noon with Pastor Mildred C. Martin officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Bethel United Methodist Church.
MARY F. MURPHY
OAKLAND - Mary F. Murphy, 100, of Gorman Road, Oakland, died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at her home.
Born on Feb. 20, 1899, in Schell, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John J. and Alice A. (Moon) Rowan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Murphy, in 1988; and by one son, Lester "Buck" Murphy.
Mrs. Murphy was a member of the White United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine W. Harvey and Phyllis L. Simms, both of Oakland; six grandchildren, Charlotte Mousch, Carolyn Shreve, Helen Schrock, William Simms and James Simms, all of Oakland, and Delores Pangle, Finksburg; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-grandsons; 17 great-great-grandchildren; 11 nieces; and seven nephews.
Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Sunday, July 11, 1999, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Parsons officiating.
Interment will be in the White Church Cemetery.

ETHEL M. PAGE
FROSTBURG - Ethel M. Page, 94, of Frostburg, formerly of Holland Street, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home where she resided for almost five years.
Born April 17, 1905, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Frank Jonah Sheeler and Lottie Matilda (Walters) Sheeler. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Page, who died Nov. 4, 1971; one grandson, Edward Curtis Dell; six brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Page was employed as a salesperson for Rosenbaum's, Martin's & Heinrich's Clothing Store, and also worked at the Stark's Drug Store in Cumberland. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary E. Dell and husband, Curtis, Youngwood, Pa., and Shirley A. Clinedinst and husband Frank, Cumberland; two half-sisters, Thelma Kraft, Tucson, Ariz., and Miriam Warnick, Westernport; one half-brother, Robert Wills, Lantana, Fla.; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Kight Funeral Home, 309-311 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod on Saturday at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen C. Sweyko officiating.
Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery, Millville, N.Y. on Sunday at 2 p.m.

NAOMI J. MURPHY
ZIHLMAN - Naomi Jemima Murphy, 89, of Mount Savage Road, NW, Frostburg, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born July 4, 1910, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Francis "Frank" and Elizabeth (Cook) Aldridge. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, George and Ebbert Aldridge.
Mrs. Murphy formerly was employed at the Celanese Corp., A&P; Stores, and Hager's Fruit Market. She then moved to Greenville Township, Pa., where she assisted her husband in managing the dairy farm. She served as 4-H Leader in Greenville Township for seven years before retiring to her home in Zihman with her husband.
She was a member of the Mount Savage Methodist Church where she formerly was a youth group leader. She also was a member of the Mountain Chapter 15 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, George A. Murphy; two sisters, Dorothy Crowe, Mount Savage, and Rose Weimer, Gettysburg, Pa.; a special friend, Cheryl Shaffer, Hyndman, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Members of the Mountain Chapter 15 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard C. Broome Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
