VIVIAN D. WALSH
BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Vivian D. Walsh, 87, of 12301 Greenwood St., Brooksville, formerly of Westernport, Md., and Indian Head, Md., died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at the home of her nephew, Gary Dayton in Virginia.
Born Aug. 23, 1912, at McCoole, Md., she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Lucy (Dawson) Dayton. She also was preceded in death by her husband Martin Walsh on March 30, 1999; and four sisters.
Mrs. Walsh was retired from the Navy Exchange, Navy Resale System in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Westernport. She was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Kelly Mansfield Post 52 American Legion, Piedmont, W.Va. She was an avid bowler and held the world record in duck pins for 16 years (232 single game).
Surviving are a brother, Donald R. Dayton, Keyser, W.Va., and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Homer Beeman officiating.
Graveside service and interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Md., on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
OLLIE M. WILT
WESTERNPORT - Ollie M. Wilt, 91, formerly of Route 1, Kolberg Hill, Westernport, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born March 6, 1908, in Barton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Imes) Somerville. She also was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Wilt, in 1979; a son, Thomas J. Wilt; four sisters, Sophia Wilt, Elizabeth Weese, Ruth Self and Ethel Imes; and two brothers, Joseph Somerville and William Somerville.
Mrs. Wilt was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by four daughters, Mabel Mason, Keyser, W.Va., Myrtle Duckworth and husband Carl, Westernport, Gladys Wilt and husband Tracy, Lothian, and Pauline Russell and husband Jim, Midland, with whom she resided; three sisters, Catherine Maul, Crellin, Marie Symons, Deer Park, and Nellie Saville, Cumberland; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Westernport Church of the Brethren on Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ervin Huston.
Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
FLORENCE J. WEBER
LONACONING - Florence Julia Weber, 94, formerly of 75« Douglas Ave., Lonaconing, died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at the Cumberland Nursing Home, where she had been a patient for eight years.
Born March 23, 1905, at Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late William D. Wattenschaidt and Minnie (Marks) Wattenschaidt. Her husband, Carl Leslie Weber, died on July 24, 1991.
Surviving are one daughter, Marion Tibbetts, Cumberland; three grandchildren, David A. Tibbetts, James L. Tibbetts, and Roger T. Tibbetts and wife Sally; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing, and a former deacon at the church.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., 8 E. Main St., Lonaconing, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Peter Leathersich officiating. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
LAURA A. STEVENSON
CUMBERLAND - Laura A. Stevenson, 88, of Devlin Manor Nursing Home, formerly of West Second Street, Cumberland, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Nov. 28, 1910, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Annie (Stouffer) Holler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James G. "Scotty" Stevenson, in 1990; two sons, George W. Stevenson and James G. Stevenson Jr.; one sister, Thelma Walker; and one brother, Elmer Holler.
Mrs. Stevenson was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the McKinley Chapter No. 12 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are one son, Allan R. Stevenson and wife, Judy, Cumberland; two daughters-in-law, Ellen Snookie Stevenson, Cumberland, and Donna Stevenson, Boardman, Ohio; one brother, Blair Holler and wife, Margie, Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Anna Mae Brakeall and husband, Don, Ridgeley, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Gail Kreiger and husband, Bob, Craig Stevenson and wife, Debbie, all of Olympia, Wash., Lynn Sue Harris, James G. Stevenson III and wife, Chris, Liane Cipriano and husband, Larry, all of Boardman, Scott Stevenson and wife, Terri, and Roxanne King and husband, Dick, all of Cumberland; eight great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mildred McKenzie at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Barbara Sue Trail, niece, for the special care given to her aunt.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. An Eastern Star service will be conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted at Grace United Methodist Church, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Richard H. Jewell officiating.
Interment will be in Lybarger Lutheran Cemetery, Madley, Pa.

WILLIAM F. WADE
HAGERSTOWN - William F. Wade, 55, of 427 Guilford Ave., died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at the Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 25, 1944, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Edgar F. and Mary E. Sowers Wade. He also was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Trumpower.
Mr. Wade was an insurance representative for 14 years and was employed with the Monumental Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Morris Frock Post 42, and a graduate of South Hagerstown High School Class of 1962.
Surviving are his wife, Mary O. Saunders Wade; four sons, Paul D. Wade, Williamsport, John F. Wade, Hagerstown, Michael A. Wade, Frederick, and J. Daniel Wade, Cumberland; one step-son, Michael E. Sease, Hagerstown; one brother, Richard Wade, Stanford, Conn.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 North Potomac St., Hagerstown, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Robert S. Barton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Saint Paul's Cemetery, Western Pike.

DESSIE M. TASKER
KITZMILLER - Dessie Mae Tasker, 72, of Kitzmiller, died Monday, June 14, 1999, in the Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 15, 1926, in Vindex, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline (Davis) Sims. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley E. Tasker.
Dessie was a member of the Blaine Full Gospel Church
Surviving are six sons, Stanley Tasker of Oakland, Roger Tasker of Cross Timbers, Mo., Daniel Tasker of Elk Garden, W.Va., Stephen Tasker of Calvin, Pa., and Ronald and David Tasker, both of Kitzmiller; two daughters, Ramona Schmidt of Swanton and Sharon Bosley of Kitzmiller; two brothers, Wesley Paugh of Oakland and Charles Paugh of Kitzmiller; four sisters, Bessie Bowers, Loch Lynn, Alberta Sweitzer, Cresaptown, Betty Uphold, Deer Park, and Norma Whitacre of Kitzmiller; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
The body is at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home in Kitzmiller, where friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Blaine Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Joseph Phillips officiating.
Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the services.
