RICHARD A. STUTLER
CUMBERLAND - Richard Albert Stutler, 71, of Cumberland, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Sept. 9, 1928, in Grafton, W.Va., he was the son of the late Keith Roy and Nona Marie (Huffman) Stutler.
Mr. Stutler was a machinist with the CSX Transportation Company. He worked for the railroad for 46 years, both in Cumberland and Grafton, W.Va. While in Grafton, he was a member of the Blueville United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran with the U.S.S. Harold S. Allison.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda Jo (Exline) Stutler; one son, Richard Keith Stutler and fiancee Ann Morrison, Corriganville; one daughter, Judith Ann Fitzgerald and Larry Rice, Cumberland; one brother, Kenneth Roy Stutler and wife, Beulah, Cumberland; and one granddaughter, Marykate Fitzgerald, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Knottsville Methodist Church, Grafton, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Arden R. Beck officiating. There will be two hours visitation at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in the Knottsville Methodist Church Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post 3081, American Legion Post 12 and the D.A.V. Chapter 24 Color Guard, all of Grafton, W.Va.
ELIZABETH R. WEATHERHOLT
CUMBERLAND - Elizabeth "Betty" Rees (Fisher) Weatherholt, 84, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born April 23, 1914, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Allan C. and Ella (Rees) Fisher.
Mrs. Weatherholt also was preceded in death by her husband, F. Allan Weatherholt Sr., on Sept. 30, 1995; and one brother, Allan C. Fisher Jr.
Mrs. Weatherholt was a graduate of Catherman's Business School.
During World War II, she had worked at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club as assistant manager of the restaurant. She also had worked as an operator for the C&P; Telephone Co.
Mrs. Weatherholt was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, where she was past president of the Episcopal Church Women, member of St. Margaret's Circle and the Altar Ward. She also belonged to the Women's Civic Club.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt and wife, the Rev. Anne Orwig Weatherholt, Hancock, and Robert M. Weatherholt and wife, Rebecca S. Weatherholt, Cumberland; and five grandchildren, David and Stephen Weatherholt, Hancock, Robert and Arthur Mason Weatherholt, Cumberland, and Melissa Saville, Romney, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 16 Washington St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward C. Chapman, Rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, assisted by Steven L. McCarty, Lay Associate, St. Thomas,' Hancock.
Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the All Saints Fund at Emmanuel Parish, 16 Washington St., Cumberland, MD 21502.

CHRISTOPHER LEE ROACH
CUMBERLAND - Christopher Lee Roach, 12, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 1999.
Born Oct. 15, 1986, in Cumberland, he was the son of Ronald E. and Mary Anne (Wilson) Roach, Cumberland.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Eleanor Roach; and one uncle, Floyd "Joe" Roach.
Chris was a seventh grade student at Washington Middle School. He attended Highland Baptist Church and recently accepted Christ as his Savior. He was a volunteer at the Western Maryland Reading Center, the Lions Manor Nursing Home, and the Interfaith Community Pantry.
In addition to his parents, surviving are three brothers, Ronald E. Roach Jr. and wife, Kelly Lynn, Wiley Ford, W.Va., David A. Roach and wife, Tracy, Cumberland, and Steven F. Roach, Cumberland; paternal grandfather, Floyd A. Roach, Cumberland; maternal grandparents, Chester N. and Flora M. Wilson, Potomac Park; four nephews, David A. Roach Jr., Ronald E. Roach III, Ryan A. Roach and Michael A. Roach; one niece, Kirsten M. Roach; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Highland Baptist Church, Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jack W. Lancaster officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

BLANCHE V. TURNER (KIRK) WARNICK
MIDLAND - Blanche Virginia (Turner) Kirk Warnick, 87, of 19817, Broad St., Midland, formerly of Barton, died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born on Nov. 15, 1911, in New Creek, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Samuel K. and Phoebe J. (Blizzard) Turner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Warnick, in 1985; two sisters, Nellie G. Beck and Alice L. Pollock; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Warnick was a homemaker. She was Presbyterian by faith.
Surviving are her two sons, William R. Kirk Jr. and wife, Clara, Chestertown, Robert D. Kirk and wife, Darlene, LaVale; two daughters, Virginia K. Mullan and husband, James, Westernport, Carolyn Kay Hobel and husband, David, Barton; two brothers, Charles E. Turner, Memphis, Tenn., and Samuel K. Turner Jr., Keyser, W.Va.; two sisters, Edith Howe, Mogadore, Ohio, and Violet Bill, Keyser; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Saturday, June 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral and interment service will be conducted at the Chapel on Sunday, June 20, at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Rob and Susan Kirk Memorial Scholarship Fund at Allegany College of Maryland, Cumberland.
JOHN E. WILT
SWANTON - John Ellis Wilt, 79, of Savage River Road, Swanton, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born May 9, 1920, at Frankville, he was the son of the late John I. and Anna (Murphy) Wilt.
Mr. Wilt was retired from the warehouse of the Westvaco Corporation. He previously worked for the B & O as a railroad foreman. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He was an avid craftsman and woodworker.
Surviving are his wife, Hollis (Sines) Wilt; one son, Randy Wilt and wife Gail, Mechanicsville, Md.; two daughters, Edith Clayton and husband Joe, New Creek, W.Va., and Nancy Daigle and husband Steve, Mechanicsville; one brother, Henry E. Wilt and wife Maxine, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline Eaton and husband Robert, and Irene Howell, all of Savage River; six grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Riegel officiating.
Interment will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

FRANK L. ROADCAP
CUMBERLAND - Frank L. Roadcap, 91, of the Lions Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Independence Street, Cumberland, died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born April 15, 1908, in Harrsionburg, Va., he was the son of the late Zeb Roadcap and the late Sarah Jane (Hoover) Roadcap. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Marie M. (Gentry); and a sister, Eva Riggleman.
Mr. Roadcap was a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Carolyn M. Manley, Jarrettsville; a sister, Effie Jones, Charlottesville, N.C.; Della Haskins, Harrisonburg; a brother, Marvin Roadcap, Cumberland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
