CHARLES A. ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - Charles A. Robinette, 74, of Winchester Road, Cumberland, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1924, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late George A. and Ollie (Orndoff) Robinette. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald D. Robinette.
Mr. Robinette was an employee of Artmor Plastics, Cumberland. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 11. He attended First Assembly of God Church, Elder Street; was a member of Cumberland V.F.W. 1411, American Legion Post 24, Frostburg and the Allegheny Mountain Beekeeper Association. He also enjoyed farming.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Mary Betty Robinette; two daughters, Gail S. Robinette, LaVale; Kathy L. Robinette and husband, Conrad Filsinger D.V.M., Winchester Road, Aaron Schnabley, LaVale; three sisters, Hallie Daniels, Painesville, Ohio, Stella Davis, Pauline Crawford and husband, William, all of Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Orville K. Thomas, officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be John Duncan, Eugene "Buddy" Michaels, Sean Atkinson, Doug Stafford, Benny Twigg, and Charles Pennington.
Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
ROBERT SHEWBRIDGE
CUMBERLAND - Robert "Bob" Shewbridge, 55, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore.
Born April 7, 1943, in Cumberland, he was the son of Ersal Shewbridge, Cumberland, and the late Virginia (Andrews) Shewbridge. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, E.J. Jack Shewbridge and David Kenney.
Mr. Shewbridge loved the people he worked with; he was a faithful employee for 35 years at Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church and the Cumberland Moose. He was a 1961 graduate of Fort Hill High School.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda (Frantz) Shewbridge; two sons, Robert "Robby" Shewbridge Jr. and wife Kim, and Blaine Shewbridge and fiancee Donna Schade, all of Cumberland; one sister, Pamela Bailey and husband John, Cumberland; two brothers, Richard Shewbridge and wife Carol, Cumberland, and Larry Shewbridge and wife Betty, Carpendale, W.Va.; and two grandchildren who were God's special gift to Bob, Ryan Shewbridge and Rylie Beth Shewbridge.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William H. Bice and the Rev. Theodore D. Higby officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.

ERMA J. ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - Erma Judy Robinette, 69, of Cumberland, died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Dawn View Manor Nursing Home, Fort Ashby, W.Va.
Born Oct. 29, 1929, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Jacob W. and Clara Belle (Finley) Lafferty. She also was preceded in death by her husbands, Austin W. Judy and James A. Robinette; two brothers; and one sister. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Robinette was a Methodist by faith and a private home care sitter.
Surviving are three sons, Darrell 'Butch' Judy and wife Peg, Ridgeley, W.Va., Dale Austin 'BJ' Judy and wife Cindi, Ridgeley, and Michael Judy, The Plains, Va.; two daughters, Cheryl Mattingly, Pasadena, and Chris Swanger and husband Kenny, Ridgeley; eight grandchildren, Allison, Hope, Stephanie, Matthew, Scott, Katie, Elizabeth and Meagan; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Danielle.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Delbert Poling officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
MARY MARGARET WILHELM
SUNNYSIDE - Mary Margaret Wilhelm, 86, formerly of 14203 Stanton St., NW, Mount Savage, died Monday, April 19, 1999, at the Cumberland Nursing Home.
Born July 11, 1912, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Martin) Crump. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Wilhelm; one brother, Marshall Crump; three sisters, Alma O'Neal, Grace Ridenour and Emaline Carter; and a son-in-law, Ronald Rogers.
Mrs. Wilhelm was a cook, retired from the Green Arrow Restaurant, and having formerly worked at Kline's Restaurant. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, Mount Savage, the Ladies Guild, and AARP.
Surviving are one son, Edward Wilhelm and fiancee Janie Gregory, Barrelville; two daughters, Ann Rogers, Belvidere, N.J., and Mary Sue Glass and husband Darrell "Hut" Glass, Mount Savage; two sisters, Mildred Klock, Rawlings, and Virginia Bishop, Quincy, Pa.; two brothers, Robert Crump, Mount Savage, and Jack Crump, Cresaptown; one daughter-in-law, Ella Morgan, Barrelville; one nephew whom she raised, Robert Flynn, West Newton, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Litany for the Departed will be recited at 8 p.m.
A Burial Office will be conducted at St. George's Episcopal Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold Bishop officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to either the Mount Savage Volunteer Fire Department, the Wellersburg Volunteer Fire Department, or St. George's Episcopal Church.
ANNIE MAY YOUNGBLOOD
WESTERNPORT - Annie May Youngblood, 84, of 24432 Stoney Run Road, Westernport, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Oct. 14, 1914, at Stoney Run, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Clara (Ross) Miller. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Youngblood in 1997; three sisters, Irma Brashear, Gladys Marsh and Eva Preston; and two brothers, Ching Miller and Howard Miller.
Mrs. Youngblood was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness by faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Helen Amann and husband Donald, Westernport; one brother, Perry Miller, Westernport; one sister, Hazel Metz, Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing; two grandsons, Donald Amann and wife Diane, Rawlings, and Steven Amann and wife Diane, Westernport; and four great-granddaughters, Ashlee, Laura, Carissa and Britney Amann.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted there on Saturday at 1 p.m. with speaker Steve Jackson officiating.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery, Stoney Run.
ANNA E. THWAITES
CUMBERLAND - Anna Elizabeth Thwaites, 91, formerly of 102 E. Oldtown Road, having lived at the Chateau for four years and residing at the Cumberland Nursing Home, Cumberland, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Cumberland Nursing Home.
Born Oct. 5, 1907, in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Edward Crosser and the late Emma (Matthews) Crosser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Thwaites Jr., on April 15, 1988; and by two brothers, Edward and Malcolm Crosser.
Mrs. Thwaites was a retired bookkeeper for the Board of Education for 37 years. She was a past member of the Mapleside Homemakers Club, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #56, and was a graduate of the class of 1926 from Allegany High School, where she was captain of the girls basketball team.
Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Adams, and husband, Robert, Cumberland; a son, Robert H. Thwaites and wife, Janice, Reisterstown; four grandchildren, Robin Cannon, Christopher Adams, Stephanie Mitchell and Gregory Thwaites; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.
Burial will be private for the family.
