JAMES W. "PEE WEE" ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - James Wilson "Pee Wee" Robinette, 65, of 11220 Old Mount Pleasant Road, N.E., Cumberland, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at his home.
Born June 4, 1934, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Melvin Dewey Robinette and the late Una Urilla (Twigg) Robinette. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Demaris Robinette.
Mr. Robinette retired from the U.S. Army in 1981 with 20 years of service in the Signal Corps. He served in Korea, Okinawa and Thailand and retired at Fort Hood, Texas. He was a life member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and Chapter 2 Disabled American Veterans. As an active member of Pleasant Grove Church, he served as an usher since his retirement from the military and took much pride maintaining the church grounds.
Surviving are his wife, Mary "Jackie" Wilson Robinette, Cumberland; a daughter, Marcia L. DeHollander, and husband, Terry, Norfolk, Va.; a son, Glenn J. Robinette, and wife, Anita, Cumberland; a brother, William Robinette, and wife, Gail, Cumberland; three sisters, Leila James and husband, Bill, Pensacola, Fla., Gwen Robinette, Laurel, and Joanna Weirman, and husband, James, Laurel; four grandchildren, Laura DeHollander, Matthew DeHollander, Timothy Robinette and Margot Robinette.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., with the Rev. Thomas Landaker officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded at graveside by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
FREDERICK W. WARNICK JR.
WESTERNPORT - Frederick W. Warnick Jr., 27, of 21602 Creekside Drive, Westernport, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at his residence.
Born in Cumberland on Feb. 13, 1972, he was the son of Frederick W. Warnick Sr. and Debra A. (Trenum) Warnick, New Creek, W.Va.
Freddie was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, W.Va. He was a 1990 graduate of Westmar High School, Lonaconing, and also a graduate of Allegany College. He was employed by the Allegany County Board of Education as a teacher's assistant, having worked at Georges Creek Elementary School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Tracie (Warnick) Ward, and husband, Chuck, Westernport; a nephew, Gunnar Ward, maternal grandparents, Allen 'Skeeter' and Sylvia (Robertson) Trenum, Westernport, and paternal grandparents, H. Fred and Jean E. (Boal) Warnick, Alva, Fla. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Allen Trenum, Gaithersburg, Krista Davis and husband, Rick, LaVale, Doris Zais and husband, Bill, Bloomington, Sarah Poe and husband, Rich, Belair, and Royce Warnick and wife, Leslie, Oakland; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sumner Sawyer officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.

MARY E. WEAVER
CUMBERLAND - Mary Elizabeth Weaver, 76, of Valley Road, Cumberland, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at her home.
Born May 9, 1922, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Hamburg and Stella Mae (Day) Hamburg. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Weaver, on June 30, 1991.
Mrs. Weaver was a homemaker and a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Rita May Nazelrod, Cumberland; a son, Patrick Henry Weaver, also of Cumberland; one brother, Andrew Hamburg, Cumberland; three sisters, Kathleen Dunn and husband, Tom, Cumberland, Teresa Beal and husband, Earl, Cumberland, and Genevieve Dolly, Corriganville; two grandchildren, Deanna Crystal Nazelrod, York, Pa., and Shane Wesley Nazelrod and wife, Misty, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Following the service her remains will be cremated at The Cumberland Crematory. The cremated remains will be interred in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
GENEVA A. TWIGG
CUMBERLAND - Geneva A. Twigg, 81, of Cumberland, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, at the Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland.
Born Aug. 2, 1918, in Elkins, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Flora Louise (Ramsey) Triplett. She also was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Robert Atwell; one brother, Oscar Triplett; and one sister, Lalinka Nutter.
Mrs. Twigg was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Cumberland Outdoor Club Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her second husband, Norval Wayne Twigg; two daughters, Linda Border and husband Harold, LaVale, and Judy Light and husband Fred, Rockville; one stepdaughter, Beverly Conis and husband Jerard, Oldtown; two sisters, Genevieve Koegel, Cumberland, and Geraldine Echols, Durham, N.C.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Lee A. McDaniel officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
Pallbearers will be David Border, Robert Border, Michael Border, Zachary Border, Dwayne Light and Jeffrey Hoblitzell.
MABEL E. WILLIAMS
GERMANTOWN - Mabel Esther Wynn Williams, 81, of Ridge Road, Germantown, died on Friday, April 2, 1999, at Shady Grove Hospital after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Williams, her husband of 56 years.
Born on July 2, 1917, in Brentwood, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry A. Wynn and Mary Elizabeth Briggs Wynn. She is pre-deceased by five sisters, Geneva Wynn, Ruth Elizabeth Vredenberg, Agnes Lucille Stringer, Leatha Pearl Rowley, and Josephine Margaret Houchens, and one brother Harry Thomas Wynn.
Mrs. Williams was a former employee of the Hecht Co. and the Wheaton Pharmacy. Since her retirement from Vitro Laboratories as a mechanical draftsman, she enjoyed being with her family, traveling, going to flea markets and yard sales, and playing bingo. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church of Cedar Grove.
In the International Order of Job's Daughters, she was Past Grand Guardian of the State of Maryland, Past Guardian of the Grand Bethel, and Past Guardian of Bethel 44 in Wheaton and a majority member of Bethel 10, Mount Rainier.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Peggy Jean and G. Raymond Hitch of Benedict, Donna Lee and Ronald F. Komatz of Eckhart, and Judy Rae and Ralph Caparotti Sr. of Damascus; seven grandchildren, Richard Britton, Vicki Johnson, Ronald Britton, Carol Quinn, Ralph Caparotti Jr., Donald Caparotti and Ronald Komatz Jr.; and five great-granchildren, Michelle, Bradley and Ashley Johnson, and Erin and Brandon Quinn; a sister-in-law, Esther Wynn; a brother-in-law, Arthur Stringer; and a special family member, Paul Behlen Jr.
Mrs. Williams also leaves behind her beloved cat, 'BABY.'
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 5, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. A Short memorial service will be conducted by the International Order of Job's Daughters at 6:45 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Salem United Methodist Church of Cedar Grove, Germantown, Md. Pastor Mark Smiley will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

LAUREN M. WILLIAMS
CUMBERLAND - Lauren Michelle Williams, 5, of Cumberland, entered into Eternity on Nov. 5, 1999. Lauren was the daughter of Alan and Erin (Shanahan) Williams, and was accompanied from this earth by her sister, Melody.
Lauren loved her family and her friends, especially those from the First Presbyterian Church and from South Penn School. She was filled with song and wonder, and often sang to God. She knew that Jesus loved her.
A life so brief is hard to understand, and grief from her untimely death is felt by us all. In addition to her parents, she is mourned by her brother, Jeff Martin, of Keyser; her cousins, Nicholas and Nathan Williams; her uncle, David Williams; her aunt, Susan Boyles; and uncle, Scott Williams; her grandparents, Francine Shanahan, of Keyser; Jim and Harriet Williams, of Frostburg; and great-great-aunt, Genevieve Williams.
A memorial service for Lauren and her sister, Melody, will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 11 Washington St., Cumberland, Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at 7 p.m. with the Dr. O. Morton Harris presiding.
Friends and well-wishers will be received by the family in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
A private burial will be conducted at Porter's Cemetery, Eckhart.
