M. MADELINE ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - M. Madeline Robinette, 85, of Cumberland, died Monday, March 29, 1999, at her home.
Born Sept. 23, 1913, in Cherry Run, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle V. (Womax) Ritenour. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinette was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Robinette, on April 23, 1998; and a grandson, William Robinette.
Mrs. Robinette was a retired beautician. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, the Cumberland Eagles 245 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies of the Shrine.
Surviving are two sons, Charles F. Robinette and wife Kandy, Glen Burnie, and Jerome F. "Jerry" Robinette and wife Mitzie, Cumberland; two sisters, Georgia Robertson and husband Les, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Daisy Brant, Cumberland; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John J. Duffus officiating.
Interment will be in the Greenmount Cemetery, Cumberland.

MARY M. ROBINETTE
FLINTSTONE - Mary Morgan Robinette, 86, of Cary, N.C., formerly of Flintstone, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Windsor Point Nursing Home, Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
Born May 1, 1912, in Carlos, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Margaret Lewis Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Robinette Sr. and three brothers, Harry Morgan, Ed Morgan and Frank Morgan.
Mrs. Robinette was a member of Flintstone United Methodist Church, a teacher of 42 years having taught in the Flintstone area mainly Flintstone Elementary School, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Flintstone Homemakers, 4-H Leaders and the Maryland Farm Bureau.
Surviving are a son, Lee Robinette and wife, Janet, of Cary, N.C.; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Michael Robinette; a sister, Mabel Shumaker; three brothers, James Morgan, Jack Morgan and Gomer Morgan, all of Frostburg.
Friends will be received in the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Robinette to the Flintstone United Methodist Church or Flintstone Volunteer Fire Department EMS.
ALBERT D. STEWART
FROSTBURG - Albert D. Stewart, 72, of Frostburg, formerly of Cumberland, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Jan. 10, 1927, in Terra Alta, W.Va., he was the son of the late Lewis Lee and Mabel Virginia (Heath) Stewart. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Betty H. Stewart, on Jan. 30, 1998; one son, Daniel Lee Stewart; one grandson, Dorsey Dailey Hebb; three sisters, Geraldine Baker, Margaret Stewart and Pauline Stewart; and two brothers, Paul Stewart and Chester "Duke" Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was retired from the Kelley Springfield Tire Co. He was a former member of the Goodfellowship Club and the Redmen Lodge Sioux Tribe, Cumberland.
Surviving are two daughters, Vickie A. Hebb and husband Dorsey, Cumberland, and Cynthia J. (Collins) Weslow and husband William, Frostburg; three sisters, Betty Nair and husband Harold "Fish," Cumberland, Ruth Nair, Oldtown, and Mary Goss, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; two brothers, Joe Stewart and wife Anna Mae, Philadelphia, and Donald Stewart and wife Mary, Oakland; seven grandchildren, April Hebb, Vickie Lynn McCusker and husband Jeremy, Cynthia Collins Gamble and husband Kevin, Melissa Weslow, Tiffany Weslow, Daniel Stewart Jr. and William Stewart; and one great-grandson, Kevin Gamble Jr.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to thank the Allegany County Nursing Home and Memorial Hospital for the care and treatment of their father.
ANNE V. ROBINSON
FROSTBURG - Anne V. Robinson, 85, formerly of 217 Centenial St., Frostburg, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999 at the Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing.
Born Oct. 23, 1913 in Midland, she was the daughter of the late Terrence and Anne (Grimes) Woods. Her late aunt and uncle, Patrick and Mary Byrnes of Carlos, raised her. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ms. Robinson was retired from the coning dept. at the Celanese Fibers Corp.
She was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church and Sodality, Frostburg, and the Court St. Michael 1058 Catholic Daughters of America. She was a 1932 graduate of Beall High School.
There will be no visitations.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Byrnes officiating.
Interment will be in the Saint Michael's Parish Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Michael's Building Fund.
CORNELIA C. STUMP
CUMBERLAND - Cornelia C. Stump, 77, of 12301 Beckley Drive N.E., Cumberland, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William C. Collins and Ada B. (Lamp) Collins. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee A. Collins, Chester C. Collins, and William C. "Shorty" Collins; and one sister, Winona P. Hill.
Mrs. Stump was a former employee of G.C. Murphy Company and the Celanese Corporation. She drove a school bus and a milk truck for the family business known as Maplelawn Dairy. She was office manager and dental assistant for 37 years for her husband, Dr. Blair W. Stump.
Mrs. Stump was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church, the Cumberland Chapter #56 Order of the Eastern Star, Maryland State Dental Society, Allegany County Dental Society and South Cumberland Businessmen's Association.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. Blair W. Stump; one daughter, Linda C. Stump, Morgantown, W.Va.; one sister, Marguerite C. Willison, Bedford Road, Cumberland; one brother, Wilbur A. Collins, Rawlings; a loving sister-in-law, Hilda Jo Ritts; particularly close and loved and was supportive to her nieces and nephews; and loyal and faithful companions, Wicket, Lakita and Toshia.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted there on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Jewell officiating.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kingsley United Methodist Church or Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
ELDRED K. STAHL
GRANTSVILLE - Eldred K. Stahl, 75, formerly of Grantsville, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, in Sarasota, Fla.
Born April 9, 1924, in Grantsville, he was the son of the late Stewart F. and Nora (Resh) Stahl.
Mr. Stahl was a retired stationery engineer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion, and a Shriner. In his later years, he was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Chapman Stahl; a daughter, Diana, Columbus, Ohio; a stepson, Richard Chapman and wife Sietzha; one brother, Darrell Stahl, Cumberland; and two sisters, Helen Stahl Bender and husband Bill, Grantsville, and Betty Stahl Durst and husband Bill, Buckhannon, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stahl requested that his body be cremated.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at the Methodist Church in Sarasota.
