ANNE K. WHINNIE
COLUMBIA - Anne K. Whinnie, 87, formerly of 6336 Cedar Lane, Columbia, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at St. Agnes Nursing Home, Ellicott City.
Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Michael Koscho. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Whinnie.
Mrs. Whinnie was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Grant, Nancy J. Grace of Columbia, and Ruth Axley; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Cumberland, on Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, with Father Vance Pastorius as celebrant.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Garden, Cumberland.
Memorial donations may be made to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Restoration Fund.

JOSEPHINE F. RODENHAUSER
LAVALE - Josephine Friend Rodenhauser, 84, of LaVale, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 13, 1914, in Sang Run, Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Vestus C. and Fannie (DeWitt) Friend. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Rodenhauser in 1985. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Rodenhauser was retired from the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory. She was a member of the LaVale United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Roy A. Rodenhauser and wife Nancy, Cresaptown; three nephews, Earle W. Railey Jr., Douglas R. Railey, both of Oakland, and Jack Friend, LaVale; three nieces, Paula J. Upole, Oakland, Pamela R. Mallow, Fairmont, W.Va., and Janet Friend, Cumberland; and a number of great-nieces and -nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating.
Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Railey, Jack Friend, Bobby Cosner, Robert Matthews, Bing Nee, and Richard O'Neil.
HAZEL E. ROGISH
LONACONING - Hazel Estella (Phillips) Rogish, 84, of 21212 Charlestown St., Lonaconing, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1914, in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Phillips and Isabel (Spiker) Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Rogish, in May 1996.
Mrs. Rogish was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Lonaconing, and the Frostburg Village Adult Day Care Center.
Surviving are a son, Arland Lee Phillips and wife, Lennie Mae, Lonaconing; one grandson, David Thomas Phillips; a brother, Charles Phillips; a sister, Catherine Smith, both of Lonaconing; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home, Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leslie R. Miles, M.D., officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
LENORA ROLAND
FLINTSTONE - Lenora Roland, 75, of 20611 Root Road, Flintstone, died Monday, Aug. 30, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 18, 1923, in Flintstone, she was the daughter of the late Henry Teeter and the late Viola (Sponaugle) Teeter. She also was preceded in death by her nephew whom she reared, Richard Teeter.
Mrs. Roland was a retired candy maker at Polish Mountain Maple Products. She was a member of Glendale Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a husband, G. Derwood Roland, Flintstone; a daughter, Shirley Louise Albright and husband Gerald, Cumberland; a brother, Junior Teeter, Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Carolyn Teeter, Flintstone; and a granddaughter, Michelle Bridges, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard E. Ketterman officiating. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Flintstone.
KATHLEEN B. SULLIVAN
VERO BEACH, Fla. - Kathleen B. Sullivan, 96, of Vero Beach, passed away Feb. 13, 1999, at 805 37th Place, Vero Beach, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sullivan was born March 24, 1902, in Pekin, Md., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for the past 39 years, moving here from Cumberland, Md.
Mrs. Sullivan was a school teacher at Mount Royal Elementary School in Cumberland. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Holy Cross Women's Guild in Vero Beach. She was also a member of the American Association of University Women, the National Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Amaryllis Garden Circle, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by two nephews, James J. Brehany, Costa Mesa, Calif., and Richard Brehany, Arlington, Texas.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Fort Pierce.
At the family's request, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Mrs. Sullivan.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox-Gifford Funeral Home.
KATHY A. WILEY
MCHENRY - Kathy Ann Wiley, 43, of 3538 Friendsville Rd., McHenry, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at her residence.
Born Nov. 4, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ruth (Savage) Enlow, McHenry, and the late Robert Enlow. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Savage.
Mrs. Wiley was a School Bus Operator for the Garrett County Board of Education and attended Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. She was also a member of the American Quarterhorse Association.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Stephen R. Wiley; two daughters, Christina Jones, McHenry, Tricia Wiley, at home; two brothers, Curtis Friend, Deer Park, Ronald Humbert, Markleysburg, Pa.; and one granddaughter, Paige Carr.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., McHenry, Md., on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Donald Matthews, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
