TRENTON B. REIGHTLER
WESTMINSTER - Trenton Bradley (Trent) Reightler, 19, Westminster, died suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born July 14, 1980, Baltimore, he was the son of Terry Saylor Bowen, Westminster, and Robert Reightler, Hampstead.
Mr. Reightler was a sophomore at Frostburg State and a member of Omega Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1998 where he played JV soccer in his sophomore year and was on the varsity team in his junior and senior years. He was voted player of the year by his teammates. He also played indoor soccer at Carroll Indoor Sports and was an avid baseball player, starting in the peewee leagues to Babe Ruth and the16-18 league. He loved rollerblading, skiing, snowboarding and paintball. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Westminster.
Besides his parents, surviving are his stepfather, Ray Bowen, Westminster; stepmother, Debbie Reightler, Hampstead; two brothers, Tony Reightler, Westminster, and Robbie Reightler, Hampstead; three sisters, Kelsey Bowen, Westminster, Amy and Katie Reightler, Hampstead; grandparents, Sterling L. and Ione Saylor, Westminster, Virginia Cross, Westminster, Sally and John DeFries, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted there on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Rev. David Helfrich officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a Boys Soccer Scholarship, Westminster High School, 1225 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
MAEBELLE F. ZIMMERMAN
OLDTOWN - Maebelle Fern Zimmerman, 85, of Oldtown, Md., passed away Tuesday, March 2, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Sept. 19, 1913, in Union Bridge, Md., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Maggie Wilson.
She was Methodist by faith.
Her husband, Eugene Lawrence Zimmerman Sr., preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Eugene L. Zimmerman Jr. and wife Phyllis, Cumberland, Gilbert L. Zimmerman and wife Rebecca, Oldtown, Md., and Kenneth R. Zimmerman and wife Victoria, Jeannette, Pa.; two daughters, Shirley Mackereth and husband Clyde, Oldtown, Md., and Catherine Bobonik, Oldtown, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. William Bice and the Rev. Theodore Higby.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Lewis, Michael George, Thomas Delawder, Francis Richard, Okey Mackereth and Carl DeShong.
BERNICE L. WILDMAN
SWANTON - Bernice L. Wildman, 85, of Swanton, died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Dec. 22, 1913, in Hampshire, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Amos and Bertha (Howdyshell) Bean. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Wildman; three brothers, Arthur 'Bud' Bean, Lloyd 'Pete' Bean, and Floyd 'Bun' Bean; and two sisters, Mary Howard and Orrie Paugh.
Bernice was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Swanton.
Surviving are three sons, Kermit Wayne Wildman and wife Louise, Robert Wildman and wife Sandy, and Kenneth Wildman and wife Cathy, all of Swanton; three sisters, Margaret Wilt of Keyser, W.Va., Eva Randall of Piedmont, W.Va., and Lena McIlwee of Keyser; one sister-in-law, Ethel Bean of Cross, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Pam Dawson, Bobby Wildman, Robin Doolan, Michelle Welsh, Michael Wildman, Marcie Lyons, Mark Wildman, Susan Piavis and Laurie Turner; 11 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Josiah and Annie Dawson, Brandon and Seth Welsh, Emily and Adam Doolan, Brian Wildman, Cody Lyons, and Nickolas and Samuel Turner.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Mount Zion United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Nelson officiating.
Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery, Swanton.
Pallbearers will be Michael and Mark Wildman, Michael Lyons, Chris Doolan, Paul Piavis, Sid Turner and Glenn Welsh. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Wildman.
GLADYS B. TERRILL
LAVALE - Gladys B. Terrill, a caring and generous World War I Widow and Purple Heart Mother, age 92, of Braddock Road, LaVale, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999.
Mrs. Terrill was born on March 22, 1906. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simeon Frederick Terrill; daughters, Ella Granata and Viola Zito; and a son, Milford Eugene Terrill, who died in combat.
Mrs. Terrill is loved and missed by her survivors, who include, daughter, Claire Berlendy, and son, Jack Terrill, with whom she resided in LaVale; daughters, Terry Martin and husband, Dub, Baton Rouge, La., Delores McKinzy and husband, Iris, Lumberton, Texas; sons, Steve Terrill and wife, Barbara, Cresaptown, Brack Terrill, Cumberland, and Bob Terrill and wife, Wilma, San Antonio, Texas; 30 grandchildren, including granddaughter, Becky Goldsworthy and husband, Paul, Cumberland; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren throughout the United States.
Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, from noon to 2 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

ISABEL REIN
RESTON, Va. - Isabel (Douglas) Rein, 91, a former resident of Lonaconing, Cumberland, and Arlington, Va., died of respiratory failure in a retirement home in Reston on Sept. 2, 1999. Her parents were the late Joseph Douglas and Jenn (McKenty) Douglas. Isabel's husband, the late William C. (Doey) Rein, who had taught at Fort Hill High School in the 1930's, died in 1981. Mrs. Rein graduated from Central High School in 1927 and from Western Maryland College in 1931. Other survivors include a son, Mac E. Rein and a daughter, Ellen Douglas; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Arlington, where she had been a member for 45 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rein Scholarship Fund, Western Maryland College, Westminster, MD, 21157.
JOHN L. REPHANN
CUMBERLAND - John Leo Rephann, 81, of Potomac Park, Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at his residence.
Born April 26, 1917, in Pinto, he was the son of the late William and Ella Ceceila (Dunn) Rephann. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Lawrence and William Rephann; and one sister, Helen Rephann Lowendick.
Mr. Rephann was a carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, Fort Cumberland Post #13, and the Carpenters Union.
Surviving are his wife, Alleda (Poland) Rephann; two daughters, Pamela Rephann Boch and husband, Henry, Indianapolis, Ind., and Barbara Rephann Skidmore and husband H. Gregory, Cumberland; three sisters, Katherine Rephann Stein, Cumberland, Edna Rephann Scally, Hagerstown, and Mary Rephann Miltenberger, Ridgeley, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Jared K. Skidmore, Sarah E. Skidmore, both of Cumberland, Anna E. Boch and Matthew C. Boch, both of Indianapolis.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake will be conducted on Thursday at 8:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Friday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Reginald Russo as celebrant.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
The family requests contributions be made to the Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit, Memorial Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502.
Pallbearers will be John Lowendick, Louis Miltenberger, Greg Skidmore, Jared Skidmore, Henry Boch and Matt Boch.
JOSEPH C. RESH
GRANTSVILLE - Joseph Cortez Resh, 91, of 15925 Bittinger Road, Grantsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1999, on arrival at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Aug. 23, 1907, in Grantsville, he was a son of the late Simon and Harriet (Wiley) Resh. He also was preceded in death by one son, Buford E. Resh; and two daughters, Phyllis M. Buckel and Wilma Resh.
Mr. Resh was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings, and was a retired heavy equipment operator for Harbison-Walker Refractories, Grantsville.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthella Jane (Swauger) Resh; a son, Roger C. Resh, Grantsville; a daughter, Rita J. Ross, Tavares, Fla.; a brother, Lersey Resh, Uniontown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Vicar Doug Knupp officiating.
Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Edwards, John Braskey, Harry Bowers, Jerry Fritz, John Knox and Dave Wilt.
