CAROLYN S. STOHL
BALTIMORE - Carolyn Sue (Keller) Stohl, 41, of 1105 Old Eastern Ave., Baltimore, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, from complications of surgery at Franklin Square Hospital.
Born May 18, 1958, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Harry G. Keller Jr. and Rita (Myers) Keller. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ina Rae Keller.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband David Stohl, and one son David Paul Stohl, Baltimore; one brother, Harry G. Keller III and wife Teresa, Converse, Texas; maternal grandmother, Bessie Myers, Ridgeley, W.Va.; one nephew, Harry G. Keller IV; and one niece, Alicia Rae Keller, Converse, Texas. Her aunts, uncles and cousins will sadly miss her.
Mrs. Stohl graduated from Fort Hill High School and Allegany College. She attended Towson University where she majored in audiology, speech therapy and early childhood education. She attended Central Assembly of God Church.

GENEVIEVE L. WAGNER
WESTERNPORT - Genevieve Loretta Wagner, 94, of the Grandview Apartments, Westernport, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born Sept. 23, 1904, in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Mary Ellen (DeVault) Berry. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wagner.
Mrs. Wagner retired from the Celanese Corp. with 30 years of service, and she worked at Wagner's Drugstore, Westernport. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, W.Va.
She is survived by one son, George W. Wagner, Westernport; one sister, Mary Catherine Wills, Potomac Park; four grandsons, Albert Wagner, Mechanicsburg, Va., George Wagner, Elkton, John Wagner, Grand Forks, N.D., and Jim Wagner, Westernport; a nephew, Joseph Wagner, Cumberland; three great-grandchildren, William Charles Wagner, Hannah Elaine Wagner and Timothy Michael Wagner.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday, Feb. 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Jarrett officiating.
Mrs. Wagner will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
MARY E. WILLIAMS
KITZMILLER - Mary E. (Vodopivec) Williams, 84, of Robbinsville, N.C., formerly of Kitzmiller, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, in Robbinsville.
Born Sept. 24, 1915, in Kitzmiller, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Podvoy) Vodopivec. She also was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Edward Williams; one son, Dr. Edward Williams, Bismark, N.D.; one daughter, Merilee Barlow, Wilson, N.C.; one sister, Jennie Vodopivec, Kitzmiller; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home, Robbinsville, Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Father Bond officiating.
GARY L. WHORTON
OLDTOWN - Gary Lee Whorton, 43, of 10311 Mertens Avenue, Oldtown, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Swanton.
Born on Dec. 6, 1956, in Cumberland, he was the son of Mrs. Shelbie (Stotler) Whorton Blank, of Oldtown, and the late Edward Whorton.
Mr. Whorton was a self employed dry wall mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Anita (Moyer) Whorton, Oldtown; a son, Gary Lee Whorton, Jr., at home; a daughter, Helen Marie Whorton, at home; two brothers, Richard Vernon Whorton and wife, Linda, Oldtown, Edward Ira Whorton, Jr., Flintstone; four sisters, Ellen J. Unger and husband, Dennis, Oldtown, Susan D. Flanagan, Cumberland, Karen McMillan and husband, Charles, Oldtown, Regina G. Whorton, Rawlings; a special aunt, Ruthann Whorton and the late Charles V. Whorton, Oldtown; a special cousin, John Whorton and wife, Hilda, Oldtown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill Moyer and wife Helen, Oldtown.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Hollis, officiating.
Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Flintstone.
DORIS STONEBRAKER
FROSTBURG - Doris S. Stonebraker, 85, formerly of 113 McCulloh St., Frostburg, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home, Frostburg.
Born May 18, 1913, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Nettie Mae (Morgan) Layman. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stonebraker, in 1992; six brothers; and four sisters.
Mrs. Stonebraker was a former employee of Woolworth's of Frostburg for 20 years and retired from G.C. Murphy Co., after 25 years in 1975.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a 1931 graduate of Beall High School and was active in the Reunion Committee. She formerly was an avid golfer at the Maplehurst Country Club.
Surviving are one sister, Nancy Gordon, Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Durst Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ellis Kretchmer officiating.
Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Joe Layman, Tom Layman, Paul Gordon, Chris Skidmore, Todd Skidmore and Joe Coakley.
JOYCE A. STORER
CUMBERLAND - Joyce Arlene Storer, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Storer was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney H. Storer Jr., in 1995.
Surviving are her sons, Nathan S. Hill Jr., and wife Carol, and Bruce L. Hill and wife Dana, Stafford, Va.; daughter, Grace M. Hill and husband Jim Friel, Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Betty and Bernice; brothers, Dale, Nick, and Bruce, all of Baltimore; stepdaughter, Sidna Durst and husband David; grandchild, Jackie, Catlett, Va.; step-grandchildren, Dee and Edward, Cumberland; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Storer's wishes were to donate her body to the State of Maryland Anatomy Board.
She will be cremated and interred with her husband, Sidney, at the Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.
SHIRLEY M. ZIMMERMAN
MILLERSVILLE - Shirley Mae (Reckart) Zimmerman, 64, of Millersville, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, at the University of Maryland Hospital as a result of an aneurysm of the brain.
Born Oct. 19, 1935, in Cuzzart, W.Va., she was the daughter of Rena E. (Strawser) Reckart and the late Daniel H. Reckart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; one son, Robbie; one daughter, Crystal; and one sister, Nancy Metheny.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Leatherman; three granddaughters, Dana, Amanda and Melissa; one nephew, Harold (Pete) Bucklew, Millersville; three brothers, Donnie Reckart, Delbert Reckart and Rodney Reckart, W.Va.; four sisters, Lucille Strauss, Ga., Nelda Koch, Florence Friend and Susan Harris, Md; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zimmerman was retired from the Westinghouse Corporation.
Friends were received at the McCully Funeral Home, Brooklyn, Md., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Crellin Assembly of God Church Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
