Sherry Lieberman
Sherry R. Lieberman, 27, of Pensacola, Fla., for four years and previously of Harmans, died March 7, 2006 in Escambia, Ala., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Born in Baltimore on July 13, 1978, Ms. Lieberman was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a former member of Wesley Grove United Methodist Church in Harmans. Her interests included crafts, computers, raising her children and being with her family.
Surviving are her longtime companion, Charles Lemoine of Pensacola; two children, Jesse Lemoine, 4, and Timothy Lemoine, 1, of the home; her father, Robert E. Mayne Jr., of Harmans; and two brothers, Joseph E. Mayne of Chestertown and Daniel W. Mayne of Salisbury. She was the daughter of the late Betty J. Mayne and the sister of the late Franklin E. Mayne.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore.
Genevieve Monaghan
Genevieve Andree Monaghan, 80, of Annapolis and previously of Forestville, died March 9, 2006 in Morristown, N.J., of complications of lymphoma after a yearlong illness.
Known as "Gene, " Mrs. Monaghan was born March 15, 1925, in Lexington, Ky., and graduated from Northwestern High School. A bilingual executive secretary, she retired from the World Bank in Washington, D.C.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Sodality in Forestville for many years. Upon moving to Annapolis she joined St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She loved the beach and knitting.
Surviving are her husband, Philip J. Monaghan whom she married
in 1954; one son, Joseph Monaghan of Chesapeake Beach; one daughter, Catherine Sawtell of Hillsborough, N.J.; one brother, Leonard A. Daniel of Canton, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard E. and Marcelle Carre Daniel and sister of the late Jacqueline Daniel.
Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery in Clinton.

Eugene Myer
Dr. Eugene Edgar Myer, 90, a 10-year resident of Severna Park and previously of Bethesda, died of natural causes March 8, 2006 at his daughter's residence in Severna Park after a lengthy illness.
Dr. Myer was born Aug. 12, 1915, in Salem, W.Va., and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a physician who practiced in the Washington, D.C., area for more than 43 years.
He was a member of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church and a 60-year member of American Legion Post 0029 in Elkins, W.Va. He enjoyed wood carving and following current events.
Surviving are his wife, H. Jane Hamilton Myer; his daughter, Sherrilee Jane Myer Hendrickson of Severna Park; and three grandsons.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. today with services to follow at Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Hardesty Funeral Home in Gambrills.

Kenneth Norris
Kenneth H. Norris, 84, died March 5, 2006 at Ginger Cove Life Care Community.
A native of Maplewood, N.J., Mr. Norris graduated from Columbia High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University. Upon graduation in 1943, he was commissioned an ensign in the Navy and was stationed at the South Boston, Mass., Navy Yard for 2 1/2 years.
Following his service in World War II, he spent 35 years with the New York Telephone Co. in various line management and sales and marketing positions, including service as the first director of the Bell System Business Communications Seminar for top executives.
Mr. Norris was married
for 62 years to his high school sweetheart, the former Betty Turck, until her death in December 2005. They lived in Greenwich, Conn., for 28 years where he was a delegate to the Representative Town Meeting, sang in the Greenwich Chorale and was active in First Presbyterian Church and the Rocky Point Club.
They spent more than 20 years in retirement in Seven Lakes, N.C., outside of Pinehurst, where they enjoyed golfing together and where he remained active in numerous civic and music organizations as well as the Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines. They moved to Ginger Cove in 2004.
Their interests also included sailing, skiing, bridge, traveling and Elderhostels.
Surviving are three children, Jeffrey Norris of Severna Park, Eric Norris of Missoula, Mont., and Deborah Eddington of Vergennes, Vt.; one sister, Barbara Melson of Woodbridge, Va.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.,
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 19 at Ginger Cove. Interment will be at the Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines.

Robert Rye
Robert Russel "Bobby" Rye, 36, of Arnold, died March 7, 2006 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. The cause of death is not available.
The son of Betty Vermillion and James Rye, Mr. Rye was born July 19, 1969, in Maryland and earned a general education diploma. A carpenter, he worked for various employers in the construction field.
He enjoyed being with children, his family and friends, fishing, crabbing, camping, jet skiing and bonfires.
Among his survivors are his fiancee, Brenda Wolf, and two children, Tyler Anthony Rye and Elizabeth Sharon Rye, all of Glen Burnie; one brother, Kenny Pilkerton, and two sisters, Christine Pilkerton, both of Arnold, and Carolyn Rye of Lansdowne.
Services are at noon today at Glen Lutheran Church, 106 Carroll Road, Glen Burnie. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie where arrangements are by Fink Funeral Home.
Donald Watts
Retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Donald T. Watts, 73, a retired naval aviator and 12-year resident of Annapolis, died of cancer March 8, 2006 at his home after a two-year illness.
Known as "Don, " Lt. Cmdr. Watts was born in Baltimore on Dec. 22, 1932, and received a bachelor of arts degree from Allegheny College.
His distinguished career as a naval aviator included tours in Vietnam flying the Rockwell A-5 "Vigilante." He was never shot down in Vietnam, but during a peacetime mission in Georgia was forced to eject due to an engine malfunction. The same aircraft also gave him the distinction of membership in the "Mach Busters Club" for having traveled over twice the speed of sound.
After retiring from the Navy, he and his family lived in Iran for two years while he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. before returning to the Washington, D.C., area.
He loved sailing his Nonsuch 26 with his wife, Nancy Moore Watts, on the Chesapeake Bay and playing at the beach with his chocolate Labrador. He also enjoyed volunteering as a sailing instructor at the Naval Academy. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Club, the Naval Academy Officers and Faculty Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Andrew Watts of Herndon, Va., and Gabriel Watts of Woodbridge, Va.; two grandchildren; one stepson, Christopher Mehrige of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two sisters, Carol Ann Koch of Binghamton, N.Y., and Patricia Fortch of Butler, Pa.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road. Burial will be in Arlington National cemetery at a later date.

Charles Dove
Charles J. Dove Sr., 88, a resident of Deale since 1951, died of cancer March 5, 2006 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Dove was born Nov. 17, 1917, in Chaneyville in Calvert County. He was a farmer and sharecropper who also worked as a laborer for the Maryland State Roads Division, now the State Highway Administration.
He married
Charlotte Mae Gordon on May 16, 1941 and they lived in Bristol, now part of Lothian, until moving to Deale. Mrs. Dove died March 7, 2005.
Mr. Dove enjoyed smoking his pipe, spending time with his grandchildren, working on lawn mowers and cars, tending to his vegetable garden, fishing and squirrel and rabbit hunting.
Surviving are three daughters, Gloria Jean Canter Haws of Deale, Patricia M. Simmons of Churchton and Helen V. Kelly-Canter of Pasadena; two sons, Charles J. Dove Jr. of Huntingtown and Donald R. Dove Sr. of Raleigh, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Oliver Dove of Newburg in Charles County, Lee Dove of Lothian, Roy Dove of North Carolina and Frank Dove of Dunkirk; and six sisters, Helen Thomas of Jessup, Pearl Beaton of Huntingtown, Shirley Dorsey of Florida, Edna Cluroe of Florida, Omie Sanders of Barstow, Calif., and Mary Alice Dove of Dunkirk.
He was the son of the late Joe Lewis Dove and Omie Mae Lincoln Dove and the brother of the late Ruth Muller and Edward and Raymond Dove.
Friends may call at the Rausch Funeral Home, 8325 Mount Harmony Lane, Owings, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Episcopal Church, 5757 Solomons Island Road, Lothian. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Re-surrection cemetery in Clinton.
