Marie Thomas
Marie Philomena Thomas, 67, a resident of Annapolis for 57 years, died March 3, 2006 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of a sudden illness.
Born Feb. 6, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pa., and the daughter of the late Charles and Marie LaRoque, Mrs. Thomas graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1957.
She retired in 2004 from Annapolis OB/GYN, where she began working in 1994. Previously she worked at Anne Arundel Medical Center from 1972 to 1993.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Fleet Reserve Association Ladies Auxiliary. Her interests included antiques, reading, the beach, movie and animals.
On May 3, 1958, she married
James E. Thomas, from whom she was divorced in November 1989. He died Sept. 9, 2003. She was the mother of the late Patrick Thomas.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen G. Thomas of Annapolis and Sean M. Thomas of Crownsville; two daughters, Lynne M. Miller of Crownsville and Lori Ellen Thomas of Annapolis; one brother, Charles A. LaRoque of Honaker, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Carter of Annapolis and Helen Wiley of Berlin; two grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., where funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
Amelia Wayson
Information on a survivor of Amelia Irene Wayson, 86, a resident of Owensville for more than 60 years, was incorrect in her obituary on March 5.
Mrs. Wayson died March 3, 2006 at her home. Among her survivors is a daughter, Barbara Jean Hartge of West River.
Robert Barrett
Robert A. "Bob" Barrett, 62, of Crofton, president of PerkinElmer Fluid Sciences, died suddenly from complications of pneumonia March 11, 2006 in Denver, Colo., where he was on a skiing vacation with his family.
Mr. Barrett was born and reared in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore and after graduating from Southern High School in 1961, worked at various jobs before becoming an electrician at the Coast Guard Yard. Several years later, he joined the Koppers Co. in Baltimore and earned a degree in industrial engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He also graduated from the University of Tennessee Executive Development Program in 1987.
Mr. Barrett worked in the industrial engineering, marketing and sales fields for Koppers until 1979 when he joined Pressure Science Inc. in Beltsville as manager of technical sales. In 1985 Pressure Science was acquired by PerkinElmer Inc. He became vice president of marketing and sales and president of Pressure Science and Wright Components.
At his death, he was senior vice president of PerkinElmer and from 1996 until its recent sale by PerkinElmer in December 2005, he was also president of PerkinElmer Fluid Sciences headquartered in Beltsville.
He was a member of the General Aviation Manufacturers' Association, the Aerospace Industries Association and served on the executive committee of the AIA Supplier Management Council.
He was a frequent speaker and panel member at industry forums sponsored by Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine, the AIA and the Maryland chapter of the National Association of Purchasing Management. He was honored with a Maryland International Business Leadership Award in 1998.
He coached youth soccer and lacrosse in Crofton for several years and served on the boards of the Courts of Crofton Homeowners Association, the Greens of Crofton Homeowners Association and Seaside Plantation Association.
Surviving are his wife of almost 40 years, Dorothy Rossbach Barrett; three children, Andrea Graves, Kevin Barrett and Kathleen Gagnier, all of Piney Orchard; his brother, Vincent J. Barrett of West Virginia; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home, 1501 E. Fort Ave., Baltimore. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Baltimore. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 6020 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 1532 E. Fort Ave., Baltimore, MD 21230.
Kerri Beliveau
Services were held Feb. 25 at the Catholic Chapel of the Sacred Heart in Wasilla, Alaska, for Kerri Ann Beliveau, 41, who died in her Wasilla home on Feb. 19, 2006. The cause of death is not available.
Ms. Beliveau was born May 16, 1964, in Cheverly and moved to Alaska in 1991. She earned her bachelor of science degree in speech pathology from Loyola University and did post graduate work at the University of Alaska and the University of Central Florida.
She worked as a speech pathologist in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District for Goose Bay Elementary School and was an Emergency Medical Technician II in District 2 of the Alaska Fire Department.
Ms. Beliveau won many awards, including EMT Medic of the Year for 2005, voted on by her peers; EMT CPR Save 2005; EMT Rookie of the Year 2004, District 2; and State of Florida Teacheriffic Award.
She was affiliated with Lady of Our Lakes Catholic Church. She earned her first and third degree black belt and instruction. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, skiing, hiking, working with children, teaching sign language and her dog. She was an organ donor.
Surviving are her parents, Walter and Marilyn Beliveau of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Kimberly Beliveau Busch of Arnold and Diane Beliveau of Potomac Falls, Va., and a niece.

Isabelle Boucher
Isabelle Marie Boucher, 82, of Shady Side, and previously of Kensington, died of lung cancer March 12, 2006 at her home of more than 50 years after a lengthy illness.
Born June 27, 1923, in Lorain, Ohio, Mrs. Boucher was the widow of Charles Robert Boucher, former president of the Real Estate Appraisal Institute.
She was the mother of the late Kenneth Boucher.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Boucher of Shady Side and Robert Boucher of New York; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her family was the most important part of her life. She loved spending time at her home, watching the water and her grandchildren playing in the yard, her family said. Before moving to this area, she was the "First Lady" of the Appraisal Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, Galesville Road, Galesville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Road, West River. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland.

Annie Brown
Annie Evelyn Brown, 95, of Skidmore area of the Broadneck Peninsula, died March 11, 2006 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold.
Born July 8, 1910, in Skidmore, Mrs. Brown was a domestic worker for the late Adm. and Mrs. George C. Dyer of Pendennis Mount for 23 years. She enjoyed cooking, having family over for Sunday dinner and reading the Bible until her health began to fail.
On Feb. 20, 1943, she was married
to Richard James Brown, who died July 22, 1987.
She was the mother of the late Shirley B. Johnson.
Surviving are six grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow with a Christian wake at 10:30 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St. Burial will be in Bestgate Memorial Gardens.

Mary Fletcher
Mary H. Fletcher, 93, of Annapolis and formerly of Cambridge in Dorchester County, died March 6, 2006 at her residence.
Miss Fletcher was born Oct. 6, 1912, in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Mary Yerbury Henry Fletcher. She attended school in Cambridge and the Hannah More Academy and then earned degrees from Hollins College and the University of Chicago.
Miss Fletcher was a chemist who spent most of her working career in the Washington area. She worked 12 years with the U.S. Bureau of Mines and 25 years with the U.S. Geological Survey. She was the author or co-author of numerous scientific papers.
She was a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Chemical Society, Sigma Xi, the Photographic Society of America, the Annapolis Camera Club and St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a sister, Charlotte Goldsboro Fletcher, of Annapolis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Church Circle. On Sunday at 2 p.m. a committal service will be held at Christ Episcopal Churchyard in Cambridge.
