Burial arrangements have been announced for Marine Lance Cpl. Eric W. Herzberg, 20, of Severna Park, who died in battle action in Al Anbar Province in Iraq on Oct. 21, 2006.
Family and friends may meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Administration Building at Arlington National cemetery for services with Marine Corps honors.
Constance Arthur
Constance "Connie" Baden Arthur, 85, of Annapolis, died of heart failure Oct. 25, 2006 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie after a brief illness.
Mrs. Arthur was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Annapolis and attended Annapolis public schools and Bowie State Teachers' College. She worked as a keypunch operator at Fort George G. Meade, a sales clerk at Sears Roebuck and Co. and a teacher's aide at West Annapolis and Parole Elementary schools and the Phoenix Center.
Mrs. Arthur was a lifelong member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church, where she sang in the choir and served on the Altar Guild. She enjoyed classical music, opera and entertaining.
In 1940 she married
Elijah Arthur, who died in 1998.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas "TEA" Arthur and David Arthur, both of Annapolis, and Gregory Arthur of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Harold Baden of Annapolis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, followed by the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Drive. Arrangements are by Reese and Sons Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 730 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
Jeanette Bradley
Jeanette Tyler Gray Bradley, 87, the widow of Robert F. Bradley Sr., died Oct. 24, 2006 at the home of her son in Pineville, S.C., after a lengthy illness. She formerly lived in Edgewater.
Mrs. Bradley was born Sept. 26, 1919, to the late Fred and Zelphia Gray of Bar Harbor, Maine. She was a homemaker and sales manager with The Hecht Co. department store.
She was a longtime member of the Londontown Peppers Senior Citizens Group of Edgewater.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Edward Bradley; two sisters, Fanny Livingston and Florence Burke; and two brothers, George and Waldron Gray.
Surviving are her son, Robert F. Bradley of Pineville; two daughters, Victoria F. Custer of Sarasota, Fla., and Nancy Kennel of Heathsville, Va.; one brother, Bradford Gray of Bar Harbor; two sisters, Freda Farley of Southwest Harbor, Maine, and Mary Pallinger of Hertford, N.C.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services and burial are private.
Margot Eliason
Margot Foose Eliason, 76, of Annapolis and formerly of Chestertown, died Oct. 24, 2006 at her home.
Born in South Orange, N.J., on Oct. 31, 1930, Mrs. Eliason was the daughter of the late Robert Paul and Grace Althoff Foose.
She graduated from Columbia High School in 1948 in South Orange and attended Greenbriar College. She received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Washington College in 1977.
She worked as a medical illustrator for the J.B. Lippincott Co. in Philadelphia. She moved to Chestertown and married
John C. Eliason Sr. on May 19, 1954. She worked as a landscape artist during this time.
Following a separation from her husband in 1977, she moved to Annapolis where she continued to paint. She also worked for the City of Annapolis Housing Authority.
Mrs. Eliason was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Chestertown and loved to write and paint.
Survivors include a son, Robert "Bobby" Eliason of Charlottesville, Va.; two grandchildren; a brother, Robert William Foose of Port Washington, NY. One son, John "Skeeter" C. Eliason Jr., who died in 2004.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Chester Cemetery, Chestertown. Arrangements are by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home in Chestertown. Contributions may be made to Kent County Arts Council, P.O. Box 330, Chestertown, MD 21620.
Nancy Lynn
A memorial service for Nancy Lynn, 50, of Annapolis, will be held at noon Sunday at her airplane hanger at Bay Bridge Airport, 202 Airport Road, Stevensville.
Ms. Lynn died Oct. 14, 2006 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville from injuries suffered in an airplane crash at the Culpeper, Va., Air Fest that day.

William Phelps
William G. Phelps Jr., 75, a longtime resident of Pasadena and Arnold, died Oct. 25, 2006 at his home in Laurel where he had lived for the past year.
Mr. Phelps, known as "Billy, " was born in Annapolis on Nov. 7, 1930, and graduated in 1951 from Annapolis High School. He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and saw duty in Korea.
He was employed for 30 years as a data processor at the Naval Academy.
Mr. Phelps was a member of the former College Avenue Baptist Church and a fire fighter with the Independent Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2 in Annapolis. He was a volunteer for three years with the Hospice of Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Larry S. and Tim Phelps, both of Laurel.
His wife, Lucille E. Phelps, died in 1994. He was the son of the late William G. Phelps and Viola E. Phelps Ward.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Maryland Veterans cemetery in Crownsville. Arrangements are by the Stallings Funeral Home of Pasadena.

Robert Sumpter
Robert Paul Sumpter, 54, of Greenbelt, died of cancer Oct. 24, 2006 at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Sumpter was born April 13, 1952, in Washington, D.C., and was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He was a salesman with Eastern Supply in Hyattsville.
A Washington Redskins fan, he also enjoyed sports and collecting coins and hats.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Sumpter; two daughters, Melissa Sumpter of Greenbelt and Stephanie Sumpter of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; two brothers, John Sumpter Sr. of Crofton and David W. Sumpter of Arlington, Va.; one sister, Linda Ivy of Greenbelt; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Arundel Baptist Church, 886 Annapolis Road, Gambrills. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Hardesty Funeral Home in Gambrills.

Tyrone Wallace
Tyrone Joseph "Tye" Wallace, 36, of Harwood, died Oct. 24, 2006 at Washington Hospital Center. The cause of death was unavailable.
Mr. Wallace was born Oct. 4, 1970, in Charles County and graduated from Southern High School in 1988. He worked at the American Cancer Society in Crofton until March when he was disabled.
He enjoyed cooking, reading, computers, golfing, going to the movies and listening to and singing gospel music.
Surviving are his parents, William Joseph Wallace and Dorine Wallace of Harwood; and two sisters, Darlene Hudson of Harwood and Kimberly Zamarippa of Killeen, Texas.
A Christian wake will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Faith Community Church, 1306 Marlboro Road, Lothian, with the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Moses cemetery in Lothian. Arrangements are by Reese and Sons Mortuary.
