Eric Herzberg
Services for Marine Lance Cpl. Eric W. Herzberg, 20, of Severna Park, who died Oct. 21, 2006 in the Iraqi War in Anbar Province, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 801 Stevenson Road, Severn.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
Born June 7, 1986, and reared in Olympia, Wash., Lance Cpl. Herzberg previously lived in Greenville, S.C., Nova Scotia and Kitchner, Ontario, before moving to Severna Park in 2000 and graduating in 2005 from Severna Park High School.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps and graduated from boot camp on Oct. 28, 2005. He attended infantry school and deployed to Iraq on July 14 with the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Kilo Company, Infantry Unit 73105. He was a squad automatic weapon gunner.
Lance Cpl. Herzberg was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and the Severn River Rugby Club. He formerly worked at the Big Vanilla Athletic Club in Arnold and enjoyed its rock wall, athletics and physical fitness, playing computer games and Irish and patriotic country music. He loved his country and the Catholic faith, his family said.
Surviving are his parents, Regina E. "Gina" Barnhurst of Severna Park and Eric F. Herzberg of Laurel; one sister, Katie M. Herzberg, and one brother, Matthew F. Herzberg, both of Severna Park; and his grandparents, Bernadette and William Barnhurst of Wallingford, Pa., Frederick Herzberg of Edmunds, Wash., and Dorothy Herzberg of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.

Glenda Yothers
Glenda Mae Yothers, 86, of Odenton and previously of Atlanta, Ga., died Oct. 21, 2006 at University Hospital in Baltimore after a brief illness,
Born Jan. 16, 1920, in Beloit, Ohio, and the daughter of the late Guy C. and Edna Mae Stanley, Mrs. Yothers graduated from Salem, Ohio, Business College in 1939. She was a secretary for the West Branch School district in Maple Ridge, Ohio.
After moving to Atlanta she worked for Georgia State Financing and managed apartments for Cardinal Industries. She moved to Odenton six years ago and was a bookkeeper for a family vending business until it was sold in July.
She was a member of Severn Christian Church in Severn. A soprano, she sang in a trio with family members of the radio in Ohio in her younger days. She also sang in church and local choirs wherever she lived.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, John B. Yothers, whom she married
Aug. 31, 1940; a son, Stanley K. Yothers of Ormand Beach, Fla.; four daughters, Linda K. Rubin of Racine, Wis., Diane R. Baldwin of Montgomery Village, Kathy Jo Stadler of Odenton and Jill Ann Yothers of Ormand Beach; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Donaldson Funeral Home and Crematory, 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Burial will be on Tuesday in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Karolyn Donner
Karolyn Plimack Donner, 82, a resident of Annapolis since 1948, died Sept. 25, 2006 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
A homemaker, Mrs. Donner was born June 20, 1924, in Baltimore. She had extensive philanthropic interests including Anne Arundel Medical Center, Hospice of the Chesapeake and the Uriah P. Levy Jewish chapel at the Naval Academy.
She was a member of Congregation Kneseth Israel and past president of the Annapolis Chapter of Hadassah. Her interests also included travel and bridge.
Surviving are her husband, Hillard Donner, whom she married
in 1948; two daughters, Janis Rotner of Crownsville and Cynthia Reiner of Potomac; one sister, Elayne Berg of Stevenson; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Donner was the daughter of the late Louis and Nellie Sless Plimack and the sister of the late Stanley Plimack.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Kneseth Israel Synagogue, with burial in Kneseth Israel Cemetery. The family will be at the residence tomorrow evening and Thursday evening. Arrangements are by Hardesty Funeral Home.

Leta Fegen
Leta Diann Fegan, 44, a resident of Edgewater for eight years, died of cancer Sept. 24, 2006 at home after a seven-year illness.
Mrs. Fegan was born March 7, 1962, in Portsmouth, Ohio, and graduated from Greenup County (Ky.) High School. She served as a sergeant in the Army from 1980 to 1983, assigned to the White House Communications Agency in teletype communications.
She received numerous military commendations for service rendered during the March 1981 assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan. She was awarded the Army Service Ribbon and the Presidential Service Badge.
After her military service, she worked in real estate for Champion Realty, as a Realtor with Remax Innovations in Edgewater, a settlement coordinator with Hartman and Crain and a settlement officer with Progressive Title in Arnold.
She was a member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship and co-chairman of the South County Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are her husband, James Joseph Fegan, whom she married
May 8, 1999; four sons, Ryan Edward, Michael Wayne and Jason David Hostetter and James Joseph Fegan Jr., all of Edgewater; her father, Thomas Dailey of Odum, Ga.; one brother, Steven Dailey of Portsmouth; and two sisters, Becky Gail Caplinger of South Shore, Ky., and Kathy Renee Wireman.
She was the daughter of the late Leta Frances Dailey.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater. Peter Glamp
Peter John Glamp, 49, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and formerly of Gambrills, died of a heart attack Sept. 23, 2006 in Crofton.
Mr. Glamp was a sales representative for Jostens Inc. for 26 years in the Anne Arundel, Prince George's and St. Mary's counties school systems.
Born Sept. 25, 1956, in Mount Pleasant, Pa., he graduated in 1975 from North Harford High School, where he played football, baseball and basketball and was a state champion wrestler. He graduated in 1980 from the University of Maryland College Park where he played football under Jerry Claiborne. He was an outside linebacker and defense end for the Terps.
One of his favorite past times was coaching football at Southern, Duval, Arundel and St. Mary's High schools. Mr. Glamp enjoyed reading about history and sports and watched the History channels. He looked forward to beach trips and dreamed of taking a trip across the country in a recreational vehicle after retirement.
Mr. Glamp was formerly married
to Pamela Powers.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly Castro Glamp whom he married
Feb. 11, 2000; two sons, Zachary T. Glamp, stationed with the Navy, and Kevin L. Castro of Edinburg, Texas; three daughters, Lindsey M. Glamp of Edgewater and Kathy and Jennifer Castro of Berkeley Springs; his parents, Walter and Eileen Glamp of Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Patrick J. Glamp of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Philip W. Glamp of Washington state; and one sister, Mary Beth MisKelly of Columbia. He was the father of the late A. MacKenzie Glamp and brother of the late Paul J. Glamp.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Drive, Crofton.
Thomas Hardesty
Thomas N. Hardesty, 88, of Harwood, died Sept. 23, 2006 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake Mandrin House in Harwood.
Mr. Hardesty was born April 28, 1918, in Lothian, and was the son of the late Daisy and Robert L. Hardesty.
A lifelong farmer, he was a member of the Farm Bureau and Maryland Tobacco Growers Association. He also worked at Rip's restaurant in Bowie for many years.
In his retirement he enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. A sports fan, he enjoyed watching baseball and football games.
Surviving are two sisters, Doris H. Mossburg of Annapolis and Marjorie J. Moreland of Lothian; four nephews; two nieces; five great-nephews; and four great-nieces.
He was the brother of the late Gladys E. Flynn, Roberta H. Maddox and Gilbert LeRoy Hardesty, Robert Hilton Hardesty and Joseph H. Hardesty.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hardesty Funeral Home, 905 Galesville Road, Galesville, where services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Mount Calvary United Methodist Church cemetery in Lothian.
