RICHARD M. KITZMILLER
Richard M. Kitzmiller, 80, Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his home.
Born Jan. 21, 1926, in Elk Garden, W.Va., he was a son of the late Austin H. and Ozella Head Kitzmiller. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Austin H. and Clarence H. Kitzmiller; and two sisters, Ina M. Kitzmiller and Dorothy Streets.
He was a well tender for Columbia Gas Co., and a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and former lay speaker. He was also a member of the Frank B. Bartlett Post #7 American Legion and Mt. Storm VFW Post #6735.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah M. Racey Kitzmiller, whom he married Sept. 1, 1950; one son, Richard W. "Rick" Kitzmiller, Buckhannon; one brother, Cecil R. Kitzmiller, Parkersburg, W.Va.; and one granddaughter.
Friends were received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, where a service was held Wednesday, March 8, with the Rev. Gary Stackpole officiating.
Interment followed in the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
LEONARD D. WARNICK
Leonard D. Warnick, 91, Baltimore, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, in Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore.
Born March 15, 1915, in Hubbard, he was the son of the late Russell and Lucinda (Bowser) Warnick. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eileen S. Warnick.
Surviving are one son, Thomas W. Warnick, Dundalk; one daughter, Norma Jean Jewell, Baltimore; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Burdock-Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, where a service was held today, Thursday, Aug. 17, with the Rev. Darrell Tichnell officiating.
Interment was in the George Cemetery, Swanton.
ROBERT L. SCHELL
Robert L. Schell, 74, formerly of Oakland and Punta Gorda, Fla., died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, in Ocala, Fla.
Born March 29, 1932, in Gorman, he was the son of the late Harold L. and Daisy Schell.
He is survived by his wife, Florence A. Schell; two daughters, Deborah K. Cockayne, Middleburg, Fla., and Susan T. Schell, Ocala; one son, Dennis L. Schell, Altamonte Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Floretta Savage and Delores Reckart, both of Oakland; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Southwest Christian Church of Ocala at 2 p.m.

DAVID C. STEYER
David C. Steyer, 53, Oakland, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, as the result of an automobile accident on U.S. Rt. 50 while delivering newspapers.
Born Jan. 29, 1953, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Paul and Eileen (Harvey) Steyer.
He was a member of the Loch Lynn Church of God. A former maintenance man for Tub Tech and auto body repairman, he served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1975.
He is survived by his wife, Linda E. (Cooper) Steyer; one daughter, Melissa A. Schoch, Mtn. Lake Park; one son, David S. Steyer, Oakland; and one sister, Nellie K. Harvey, Swanton.
Friends were received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland.
A service was held at the Loch Lynn Church of God today, Thursday, Aug. 17, with the Rev. Ivan Ackerman and Rev. Cindy Ackerman officiating.
Interment was in the Rocky Gap Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, Flintstone.
Military honors were accorded at the church by members of the various veterans' organizations in southern Garrett County.
CONCETTA M. BURNS
Concetta Marie Burns, 49, Cumberland, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at her home.
Born Oct. 22, 1956, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of Vivian Pascarella Burns of Mtn. Lake Park and the late Bernard Burns.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are one son, Marc Burns, Mtn. Lake Park; one daughter, Angelica Thayer, Virginia Beach, Va.; and one stepbrother, Jack Burns, Meadville, Pa.
At her request, her body was cremated.
A memorial service was held Friday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Burdock-Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, with the Rev. Donald Cotrell officiating.
The interment of ashes will be private.
ROBERT R. WARNICK
Robert Ransell Warnick, 79, Grantsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale, Pa.
Born Jan. 2, 1927, in New Germany, he was a son of the late Clarence and Nellie (Warnick) Warnick. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Faye (Bittinger) Warnick, July 21, 1993; one son, Gregory; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Sylvan; and one sister, Olive Stark.
He was a retired timber cutter for Gary Frantz.
He is survived by four sons, Daniel, Grantsville, Richard, Keyser's Ridge, Steven, Frostburg. and Douglas, Grantsville; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Warnick and Donna D. Warnick, both of Grantsville; seven brothers, Marvin, Ronald, Victor, Kenneth. and David Warnick, all of Grantsville, Roger Warnick, Baltimore, and Morris Warnick, Finzel; three sisters, Rose Folk and Helen Miller, both of Grantsville, and Shirley Crowe, Baltimore; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, today, Thursday, Aug. 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Alan Barky officiating.
Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
RUBY H. RINGER
Ruby Helen Ringer, 70, Terra Alta, W.Va. (White Oak community), died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., following a short illness.
Born Feb. 3, 1936, in Cuzzart, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Clyde Carl and Mabel Blanche Wilhelm Ringer. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
She was Methodist. She was a retired homemaker and farmer.
Surviving are one son, Timmy Ringer, Terra Alta; and two sisters, Mary Lue Ringer, Terra Alta, and Erma Shaffer, Lima, Ohio.
Friends were received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, where a service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, with the Rev. Berlin H. Wilhem officiating.
Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
EVELYN R. WOJCIK
Evelyn Rosalie Males Wojcik, 66, Glen Burnie, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 2, 1940, in Shallmar, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Felda) Males. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wojcik.
She was a 1958 graduate of Elk Garden High School, Elk Garden, W.Va., and was the owner/florist of Rainbow Creations, Flora Designs, and Flowers Just In Time, all in the Glen Burnie area.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Jeffrey Paugh and Barry Lynn Paugh, both of Glen Burnie; four sisters, June Owens, Cambridge, Janet Streets, Martinsburg, W.Va., Eleanor Paull, Morgantown, W.Va., and Juanita Fridley, Glen Burnie; two brothers, A. Wayne Males, Severna Park, and Albert Males, Fruit Cove, Fla.; and three grandsons.
Friends will be received at the Fink Funeral Home, Glen Burnie, on Friday, Aug. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. John Lovelady officiating.
Interment will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Park.

DONALD B. SEALING
Donald Boyd Sealing, 86, Bittinger, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born May 24, 1920, in Atholton, he a son of the late Walter and Anna Wessel Sealing. He was also preceded in death by one son, John Thomas; one sister, Mildred Wallick; and three brothers, Lester, Spenser, and Allen.
Mr. Sealing retired from the Department of Correction and Public Safety after 30 years of service, obtaining the rank of lt. shift commander. He served with Company A 65th Signal Battalion during World War II for 4½ years. For 2½ years, Mr. Sealing was in the European Theater of Operations. He was a member of Grantsville Post 214, American Legion.
Mr. Sealing was active in various civic activities such as serving 50 years as a 4-H leader and was a 4-H All Star; served on the boards of Howard County and Gar-rett County fair boards, was the 2005 Maryland State Fair Person of the Year, was sheep judge for Maryland and West Virginia, and was active with the Maryland State Fair. He also served with the Bittinger Volunteer Fire Department for 29 years and was inducted in the Fireman’s Hall of Flame; he was also active with the Northern Band Boosters, Crime Solvers, and the Bittinger Food Pantry for Catholic Sisters.
At his home church of St. Paul’s of Fulton, Mr. Sealing was parish education director, Church Council Brotherhood. He was a current a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bittinger, where he served on the council and was pres-ident of the Bittinger Cemetery.
Recently he was inducted into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame for 2006.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Jane Lee (Collins) Sealing; three children, Jane Kathleen Weller, Ellicott City, Donald B. Sealing II and wife Drudy, Sykesville, and Anne Elizabeth Walters and husband Bill, Ellicott City. Grandchildren are Jennifer Marple and husband Robbie, Michael Krauss and wife Kim, Sterling Krauss, James Combs and wife Sabrina, Bryan Combs, and Matthew Wagner. Great-grandchildren are Victoria Krauss, Morgan Lee Marple, Christopher Marple, James Combs, Hailey Combs, Jonathan Combs, Bradley Allen Combs, and Avery Combs.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
A service was held on Monday, Oct. 9, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Donald Thomas, Rev. Jason Burns and Rev. Roland E. Nairn III of-ficiating.
Interment was in the Bittinger Cemetery. Military graveside rites were accorded by Grantsville Post 214 American Legion.
