CMDR William Frederick "Bill" Beacham, USN, (Ret.) 64, of Lexington Park, MD, passed away on June 8, 2014 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
Born on October 9, 1949, in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late William John Beacham and Betty Joan Butler Beacham.
Bill earned his Bachelor's Degree and Master's degree from Emery Riddle Aeronautical University. He proudly served in the United States Navy with 32 years of dedicated service before his honorable discharge as a Commander in August 2006. He was employed by the federal government as a program analyst for the past six years. In February 1976, he married his beloved wife, Rebecca Mae Beacham. Together they celebrated 38 wonderful years together. Bill enjoyed being outdoors, especially loving to work in his yard. He enjoyed science fiction, comedy and action movies. He was an avid reader. He travelled extensively for work and pleasure with his wife, spending time in Hawaii, Florida, Virginia, California, Japan, Australia, Spain, Italy and Egypt. However, his greatest love was for his family. He loved to spend time doing things with them.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his son, William "Will" Beacham, Jr. (Andrea) of Newport News, VA; his brother, Kelly Beacham and his sister, Kim Black; and his grandchildren, Mya Tugwell, Alli Tugwell, John P. Beacham, Isabella Beacham, and Calyssa Beacham. He is preceded in death by his parents. All services will be private.

Robbie Daryl Leonard, 54, of Waldorf, MD, passed away from a heart attack on June 7, 2014 at his residence. Born September 27, 1959 in Kingsport, TN, he was the son of Robert Glenn Leonard and Betty Jean Frye Leonard.
Robbie was an electrician. He enjoyed all sports and playing the guitar.
The thing he enjoyed the most was spending time with his boys Steve and Hunter.
Predeceased by his sister Kimberly Leonard, Robbie is survived by his sons, Steve Leonard and Robert Hunter Leonard; also his parents Bob and Betty Leonard, sister Donna Leonard and nieces Brynn Bales, Demi Lewis, Devin Smith and Heavins Smith.

Kathleen Lorraine Easter, 61, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on June 5, 2014 at Hospice House of St. Mary's in Callaway, MD.
She was born on October 3, 1952 in Washington, DC, to Edward Warren Baker of Stafford, Virginia and Lorraine Norma Bennett of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Kathie grew up in Hillcrest Heights, MD, and graduated from Potomac High School in 1970. Kathie married her beloved husband, Billy on May 27th 1971 and this year, they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary. When she was first married, Kathie worked at National Letter Carriers in D.C. for a year. After her daughter, Adina, was born, she decided to stay home as a devoted homemaker and Mom. In 1976 she moved to St. Mary's County. Recently, she worked for World Gym of Mechanicsville for 5 years as a bookkeeper. Kathie dedicated her life to her daughter, grandchildren and family. She was extremely talented in poetry, decorating, organization, baking and crafts. The hobbies she enjoyed were scrap booking, word puzzles, gardening, watching her soaps and spending time with her grandchildren. Kathie had a passionate love for animals. She dedicated her life to taking care of her beloved cats and also rescued many wild animals to heal them and return them back to the wild. She was a very selfless woman, always giving to others and made every occasion special for everybody. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she decorated the inside of her house beautifully every year.
Kathleen is survived by her parents; loving husband, Billy Ray Easter of Mechanicsville, MD; daughter and son-in-law, Adina and Ryan Keller of Hughesville, MD; two grandchildren, Jaden and Avery; her niece whom she adopted, Erica Baker of LaPlata, MD; brothers, Lance and Eddie Baker; mother-in-law, Cathy M. Easter; step-father, Richard Bennett; aunt, Carol Williamson; aunt and uncle, David and Anne Williamson; and stepmother, Janet Baker.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her nannie; Okla Williamson; grandfather, Carl Williamson; father-in-law, Grant Easter and her beloved best friend, Diane Marstaller.
Arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Celebration of Life will be held at the Keller home, 7270 Deborah Place, Hughesville, MD 20637 on June 15th at 1:00 p.m.

Timothy "Timmy" Ray Hicks, 55, of Hollywood, MD, passed away on June 5, 2014 in Lexington Park, MD. Born on November 2, 1958, in Leonardtown, MD, he was the loving son of the late Mary Evelyn Hicks and Elmo Jack Hicks. Timmy is survived by his daughter, Christina Thompson of Oakville, MD, special friend of 30 years, Earleen Hicks (Snyder), 6 grandchildren: Thomas Bowen, Austin Bowen, Shawn Thompson, Jr., Myressa Thompson, and Alex Thompson. Siblings; Thomas Hicks of St. Leonard, MD, Ronald Hicks, of Baltimore, MD, Jack Lee Hicks of Callaway, MD, and Robin Poe of Mechanicsville, MD. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Madison Thompson, and brothers; Joe Hicks, Ricky Hicks, and John Hicks. Timmy was a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, MD, and was a Truck driver. Dorothy Jean "Jeannie" Boyce, 47, of Hollywood, MD, died June 5, 2014 at her residence with close family by her side.
Born September 23, 1966 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of Robert I. Garner and Ethel Marie "Sissy" Clements Garner.
Jeannie graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1984. On April 26, 1985, she married her beloved husband, Jeffrey "Scott" Boyce in Leonardtown, MD. Together they had two beautiful children, who were her pride and joy. She worked at Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington and various Government contractors at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. She loved staying home and spending time with her family, especially her dogs Bella, Angel and Lexi. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend. She is deeply missed by many.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jeffrey Scott Boyce, II, and Megan Renee Slade (Nathan), both of Hollywood, MD; her parents, Robert and Sissy Garner of California, MD; her siblings, Robin (James) Wendler of Hollywood, MD, Kim (Matthew) Hartley of Leonardtown, MD, and Robert (April) Garner, III, of Hollywood, MD. Pallbearers will be Jason Boyce, Nathan Slade, Matthew Hartley, Justin Hartley, James Wendler and Brian Wendler.

Amber Dawn Jarboe, 22, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on June 5, 2014.
She was born on July 7, 1991 in Clinton, MD, to Joseph Paul Jarboe of Mechanicsville, MD, and Dawn Marie Zinn of Abell, MD.
Amber enjoyed everything with her whole heart. Amber enjoyed spending time with her friends, and loved music, animals, and reading. She greeted everyone with a hug, a smile, and "Hey Guys!" She loved fashion, children, and Taco Bell. Amber was very passionate about helping others in any possible way that she could. After graduating high school, she studied esthetics at the Aveda Institute and just received her license to practice in Washington, D.C. She had hoped to return to CSM to pursue a degree in social work with a focus on addictions counseling. Amber worked as a wellness consultant at Massage Envy in Waldorf. Amber loved her son Dylan very much, and was most happy when raising and teaching him.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Dawson & Lois Jarboe and George (Albert) Clements Senior and Janet Marie Wood-Clements.
Amber is survived by her dad and step-mom, Jan; mom and step-dad, Ron; son, Dylan Bryce Gross; brothers, Edward Blaine Clements, Jesse Tyler Martin, and Andrew Lance Zinn; sisters, Nikki Lane Wilson and Amanda Lea Zinn; and many other loving relatives.
Family and friends will be received for Amber's Life Celebration on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 pm, at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Helen Rosalie Wallace, 98, of Compton, MD, formerly from California, MD, passed away on June 4, 2014 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on May 2, 1916, she was the loving daughter of the late Lucy Combs and George E. Combs. Helen was the loving wife of the late Louis G. Wallace, whom she married in St. John's Catholic Church Hollywood, MD, on December 30, 1945; he preceded her in death on December 11, 1992 in Leonardtown, MD. Helen is survived by her children: Robert L. Wallace of Compton, MD, Charles A. Wallace, and James M. Wallace both of Redgate, MD. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Bernard Combs, Andrew Combs, Benjamin Combs, Vincent Combs, Estelle Boothe, Elizabeth Bean, and George E. Combs, Jr. She graduated high school, and was a homemaker. Helen was a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, MD, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Rose Marie Day was born on February 13, 1959 in Leonardtown, Maryland, to Augustus Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Herbert and departed this life on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Marie received her education in the St. Mary's County Public School System and graduated from Chopticon High School in 1977. After graduating, she worked at the Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Marie's loving, kind and gentle nature led her to what she loved best, caring for the elderly and disabled at St. Mary's Nursing Home, Leonardtown, MD, and Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD, for twenty years.
Marie met, and later married, the love of her life, James Minor Day, Sr. on April 26, 1997.
Marie was the proud mother of six children, Tory Dione Herbert, Christian Lee Herbert, Paul Jamal Herbert, James Minor Day, Jr., Michael Francis Day and Marcus Anthony Day and three stepchildren, James M. Day, Pierre and Tierre Thompson; one grandchild, Tyanna S. Herbert and one Godchild, Paul M. Herbert, Jr.
Marie leaves loving memories with her children; loving parents, Augustus and Elizabeth Herbert; ten brothers, Raymond (Sarah), Michael, Joseph (Brenda), James (Karen), Jerome (Martha), Thomas (Cheryl), William (Pam), Paul (Charlene), Martin and Robert (Valerie) Herbert; two sisters, Pamela Herbert Mason (Gary) and Agnes Herbert Holt; four aunts, Agnes Holley, Elizabeth Berry-Forbes, Elizabeth Goldring-Forbes and Elizabeth Dorsey-Forbes; her best friend, Debbie Gross and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, James Minor Day, Sr., son, Paul Jamal Herbert and sister, Pandora C. Herbert.
Pee Wee, as she was so lovingly called, loved life and spending time with her family at family gatherings, going to BINGO with her parents and sisters-in-law and shopping until they dropped with her sisters and sister-in-law, Cheryl.
Marie will be remembered not only for the love she had for her family but for her concern for others, especially her patients at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.
Family will unite with relatives and friends on Friday, June 13, 2014 for visitation at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 29119 Point Lookout Road, Morganza, MD. Interment to follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
