Michelle E. Brown
HUSTONTOWN, Pa. - Michelle Elizabeth Brown, infant daughter of Douglas R. and Connie M. Harris Brown, of HCR 71, Box 123 C, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, Pa.
She was born Jan. 20, 1997.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Janet Rouzer Harris of McConnellsburg, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Sylvia Fisher Brown of Hustontown; and maternal great-grandfather, Alex Rouzer of Fort Loudon, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ernest "Skip" Harris.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg.
Margaret L. S. Shea
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Margaret Louise Scully "Scoot" Shea, 78, of Fredericksburg, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, at her home.
Born Nov. 5, 1918, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John A. Scully and Catherine Donoghue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Michael Shea.
She was employed as a child-care provider.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hagerstown. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Spotsylvania, Va.
She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizen Center, Hagerstown.
She is survived by three daughters, Maureen Teresa Phillips of Annapolis, Bridget Patricia Marlin of Fredericksburg and Margaret Louise Kolm of Kensington, Md.; two sons, Timothy Joseph Shea of New York City and Daniel Patrick Shea of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Kathleen McAtee of Boardman, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Shea, and one son, Martin Michael Shea Jr.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 8200 Robert E. Lee Drive, Spotsylvania. The Rev. Jack Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Terry L. Rowland
KABLETOWN, W.Va. - Terry Lee Rowland, 48, of Kabletown, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Nov. 14, 1948, in Jefferson County, W.Va., he was the son of Grace F. Fritts Rowland of Kabletown, and the late Paul L. Rowland.
He attended Charles Town High School.
He was employed for 23 years in the production department of Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Winchester.
He attend Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Charles Town.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 948, Charles Town; was a coach in the Charles Town/Ranson Little League; and participated in the Jefferson County Park and Recreation Basketball League.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandra K. "Sandy" Kelly Rowland; two sons, Michael L. Rowland and Wesley S. Rowland, both at home; two sisters, Connie Sue Danner of Kabletown and Carolyn Ann Kelley of Lovettsville, Va.; and one uncle.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 110 W. North St., Charles Town. The Rev. J. Sherman Mason will officiate. Burial will be private.
There will be no viewing, but friends will be received after the Friday service in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Louise Corby
WILLIAMSPORT - Louise Corby, 86, of 22 W. Potomac St., died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, at Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport.
Born Jan. 1, 1911, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Eva Harsh Corby.
She was employed as an operator by C&P Telephone for more than 43 years, retiring in 1973.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamsport.
She is survived by several cousins.
Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery, Williamsport. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate.

Elizabeth N. Davis
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Elizabeth Norene Davis, 94, of Route 3, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, at Heartland Nursing Home.
Born Oct. 13, 1902, in Mineral County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Baker and Ella Pyle Seeders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fulton Davis.
She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, Dan's Run, Mineral County.
She is survived by three nieces, Rebecca Bohrer, Sue Hutton and Betty Stotlemyer; and two nephews, Raymond Seeders and P. Dewayne Seeders.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Seeders; and two brothers, Lester Seeders and Roy Seeders.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Harold O. Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
Millard D. Carter
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Millard Delgrain Carter, 77, of Kearneysville, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Nov. 20, 1919, in Jefferson County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Benjamin and Ellen Allen Carter.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Carter; one sister, Mary Norris of Baltimore; and one brother, Richard H. Carter of Kearneysville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Carter and Benjamin Carter.
Services and burial are private.

Bernice Q.Q. Weiss
SOUTH MOUNTAIN, Pa. - Bernice Q. Quint Weiss, 78, a resident of South Mountain Restoration Center, and formerly of Allentown, Pa., died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at the center.
Born July 25, 1918, in Altoona, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Louis I. and Ida Filtz Quint. She lived her early life in Claysburg, Pa.
She was a 1936 graduate of Claysburg High School. She attended licensed practical nurse training in New York.
She was employed as a licensed practical nurse by St. Vincent Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheila W. Ellis of Vienna, Va.; two sisters, Bessie Levine of Tyrone, Pa., and Jennie Williams of Westminster, Calif.; two brothers, David Quint of St. Louis and Moris Quint of Gettysburg, Pa.; two grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Molly Quint.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in Unit I of South Mountain Restoration Center. The Rev. Joseph C. Carolin will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the center 30 minutes before the service.

William V. Hunt, Sr.
William V. "Shad" Hunt Sr., 71, of 1000 Valley Brook Drive, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1997, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown.
Born Jan. 9, 1926, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Ralph C. and Angela M. May Hunt.
He was employed by The Herald-Mail Co. in Hagerstown for 43 years, retiring as press foreman.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was a member of Elks B.P.O. Lodge 378 in Hagerstown.
He coached basketball at St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown for 11 years.
He was a golfer. He served as a referee.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Grubb Hunt; two daughters, Donna R. Hunt of Baltimore, and Angela M. McCleaf of Leitersburg; three sons, William V. "Mace" Hunt Jr., John P. Hunt and Philip M. Hunt, all of Hagerstown; one sister, Mary B. Middleton of Ocala, Fla.; two brothers, Edwin R. Hunt of Ocala, Fla., and Richard C. Hunt of Hagerstown; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald C. Hunt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Jack Fullen will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. Hagerstown. Prayers will be offered at 6 p.m. by William Nairn.
