Kenneth V. Cazer
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Kenneth V. "Duke" Cazer, 57, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Feb. 9, 1939, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Beulah Kitchen Cazer of Martinsburg and the late George Cazer.
He was a 1957 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
He was employed by Corning.
He was a 20-year veteran of the West Virginia National Guard.
He was a member of Martinsburg Lodge 120, Loyal Order of Moose.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Smith Cazer; two stepsons, Michael Jones and Paul Jones, both at home; and aunts and uncles.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
The Rev. Michael Bageant will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends at the Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Emma G. Sparks
ORBISONIA, Pa. - Emma G. Sparks, 81, of Woodlawn Retirement Center, and formerly of Chambersburg, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at the retirement center.
Born Oct. 3, 1915, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Cora Baughman Rock.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Flory, in 1966; and her second husband, Allen Sparks, in 1990.
She was a former member of United Brethren Church.
She is survived by seven daughters, Betty M. May of York Springs, Pa., Jean Bollinger of Duncanon, Pa., Dolly Glacken, Bessie Andrew, Grace Wormley, Barbara Flory, all of Emmitsburg, Md., and Cathy Lawrence; three sons, Charles D. Flory of Harrisburg, Pa., Robert E. Flory of Fairfield, Pa. and Bradley Flory of Emmitsburg; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roy Flory, and one brother, Charles Rock.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
The Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate.
Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Viewing will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kenneth L. DeHaven
TOMAHAWK, W.Va. - Kenneth Lee "Buck" DeHaven, 59, of Tomahawk, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, at his home.
Born Sept. 27, 1937, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Harrison C. DeHaven of Tomahawk and the late Alma Dellinger DeHaven.
He was employed by the Berkeley County Board of Education.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Hess DeHaven; one daughter, Penny Kirby of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; four sons, Jeffrey DeHaven, Martin DeHaven, both of Tomahawk, Kenny DeHaven of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Clayton DeHaven of Hagerstown; two sisters, Darlene Hedges of Martinsburg and Barbara Stratton of Iowa; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harrison Craig DeHaven.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
The Rev. Hennis H. Fox and the Rev. Lester Hess will officiate.
Burial will be in Tomahawk Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy M. E. Clever
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Dorothy M. Evans Clever, 89, of 1551 Scotland Ave., died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Dec. 17, 1907, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late LaRoy and Bertha Schaurmann Evans.
She was employed by the former Blue Ridge Silk and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Government Accounting Office.
She owned and operated D.M. Evans Beer Distributor until her retirement in 1979 after 40 years of service.
She attended Second Lutheran Church.
She was a member of the Soroptimist Club; American Business Womens Association; Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Auxiliary; and the AARP.
She was well-known for lighted displays of decorations on her porch every Easter and Halloween.
She is survived by her husband, Bradford C. Clever Sr.; one stepson, Bradford C. Clever Jr. of Chambersburg; two step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 11 am. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg.
The Rev. Ruth Smith will officiate.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Phyllis Marie Coffman
HANCOCK - Phyllis Marie Coffman, 62, of Hillside Road, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born June 12, 1934, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Evelyn Mullin Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ercel Eugene Coffman on Jan. 18, 1988.
She retired from Londontown Manufacturing, Hancock, after 30 years of service.
She was currently employed by McDonald's, Clear Spring.
She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Hancock.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Mills of Clear Spring and Shirley Steele of Hagerstown; two sisters, Elizabeth Greenlee of Clear Spring and Linda Deshong of Oxford, Pa.; one brother, Wayne Johnson of Cearfoss; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard "Sneak" Johnson.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church.
The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. and Lay Associate Steven L. McCarty will officiate.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

William S. Shupp Jr.
SALISBURY, Md. - William Sidney Shupp Jr., 44, of Salisbury, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at his home.
Born in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of William Sidney and Jane Ankeney Shupp Sr. of Clear Spring.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Denise Shupp on Nov. 5, 1991.
He was a 1970 graduate of Clear Spring High School.
He was employed as a lieutenant and correctional officer by Eastern Correctional Institution, Westover, Md.
He was a member of Manokin Lodge 106, A.F. and A.M., Princess Anne, Md.; the Salisbury Moose Lodge 654, Salisbury and he was a 32nd Scottish Rite Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Price Shupp; one daughter, Sarah Renee Shupp of Salisbury; two sons, William Sidney Shupp III and Scott Shupp, both of Clear Spring; and three sisters, Darlene Miller of Clear Spring, Cathy Shupp and Kristi Miles, both of Hagerstown.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Hinman Funeral Home, Princess Anne.
A Masonic Memorial service will be held.
Services also will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., North Hagerstown.

John W. Haynes
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - John William Haynes, 69, of Clarksville, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Jan. 7, 1928, in Clarksville, he was the son of the late Lana Byard Haynes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Edgin Haynes.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II.
He was a member of VFW and Lodge 1027, Loyal Order of Moose, both in Clarksville.
He is survived by two daughters, Carla M. Bennett of Gerrardstown, W.Va., and Frances E. Miller of Clarksville; one son, David Lee Haynes of Aptos, Calif.; one sister, Helen Ray of Clarksville; two brothers, O'Neal Haynes of Clarksville and Robert Haynes of Elkton, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Clarksville.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Antonio Caffarelli
FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Antonio Caffarelli, 65, of Falling Waters, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at his home.
Born Aug. 5, 1931, in Middlesex, N.J., he was the son of the late Geiochanno and Catena Laiacano Caffarelli.
He had been employed by Alsworth Transportation Co., Lynnfield, Mass.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Irene Hobel Caffarelli; two daughters, Deborah Tinncy of Westminster, Md., and Lynn M. Barnhart of Greencastle, Pa.; four sons, John A. Caffarelli of Mercersburg, Pa., Michael J. Caffarelli of Hedgesville, W.Va., Thomas J. Caffarelli of Hagerstown, and James Caffarelli of Maugansville; two sisters, Mary Grothman of Marengo, Iowa, and Rose Cook of Middlesex; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Hallsworth and one brother, James Caffarelli.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m. at Kingdon Hall, Baltimore Street, Martinsburg, W.Va.
David Mehalko will officiate.
Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
The family will meet with friends after the service.
