Barbara A. Goodson
MOORE, Okla. - Barbara Ann "Bonnie" Goodson, 57, of 2520 Lakecrest Drive, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Born March 15, 1939, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Bertha Foltz Michael Resh of Clear Spring and the late Archie W. Michael.
She was a retired waitress at the Airport Inn, Hagerstown.
She was a member of the Moore Church of the Nazarene, Moore, Okla.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Howard Ray Goodson; five daughters, Robin Hurmence of Fayetteville, N.C., Barbara Batista of Newark, Calif., Michelle Weaver, Carla Weaver and Becky Cullins, all of Moore; two stepdaughters, Pat Whipp of Lawton, Okla., and Lynn Cook of Edgewood, Md.; one stepson, Mike Goodson of Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Almeda Bricker and Tena Lane, both of Clear Spring; two brothers, Ronald Michael of Yukon, Okla., and Phil Michael of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
The Rev. Jay Fretz will officiate.
Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Helen E. Rebert
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Helen E. Rebert, 93, of Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born April 27, 1903, in Fairfield, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward K. and Ruth Sanders McCleaf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Rebert, in 1976.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg.
She also was a member of the Annie Danner Club of the Gettysburg YMCA and was a former member of Rebekah's.
She was a volunteer at The Gettysburg Hospital and the Gettysburg Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop.
She is survived by five daughters, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Sanders of Scotland, Pa., Katherine R. "Katie" Gabler of Chambersburg, Pa., Ethel R. Goulden and Elaine M. McKnight, both of Gettysburg, and Jean A. Alwine of Hanover, Pa.; one son, Jack E. Rebert of Salisbury, Md.; five sisters, Alma Gastley, Martha Gastley and Ernestine Eyler, all of Gettysburg, Kathleen Oyler of Hagerstown and Ruth Heck of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; one brother, P. Ward McCleaf of Gettysburg; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 29 York St., Gettysburg.
The Rev. E. Edward Keyser and the Rev. Lisa M. Leber will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

John W. Wisherd
YORK, Pa. - John W. Wisherd, 78, of West Manchester Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Manor Care Health Services-North, in York.
Born Jan. 2, 1919, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John Bidlman and Bonnie Wisherd Schleigh.
He retired from Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot after 26 years of service.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II.
He is survived by his wife Dorris E. Wolford Wisherd; one son, Craig L. Wisherd of York; and one granddaughter.
Services will be private. The Rev. George W. Fitch Jr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Barron C. Kesecker
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Barron C. Kesecker, 36, of Hedgesville, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at his home.
Born Jan. 18, 1961, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Victor P. and Rosalie DeHaven Kesecker of Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was a graduate of Hedgesville High School.
He was a machine operator for the Lippencott-Raven Co., Hagerstown.
He also owned and operated Barron's Video Store.
He was a deacon and assistant superintendent at Providence Bible Church.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Republican Club.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bailey Kesecker, whom he married Nov. 26, 1978; one daughter, Desireé D. Kesecker, at home; one sister, Beverly Watson of Hedgesville; one brother, Michael V. Kesecker of Hedgesville; one niece; and one nephew.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel.
Pastor Daniel L. Dugan will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Helen R. Rider, 93, of Menno Haven, and formerly of 50 Kenwood Road, Chambersburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Menno Haven.
Born Jan. 3, 1904, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Albert M. and Ella Lehman Rowland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Rider, on April 26, 1957.
She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School.
She also was a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia.
She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Nitterhouse and Virginia Alexander, both of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Private services will be held at the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, at the convenience of the family.
Chaplain Samuel J. Troyer will officiate.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.

NEEDMORE, Pa. - Kathleen Doherty, 43, of R.D. 1, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1997, at Belfast Township, Needmore.
A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, Pa., today at 6 p.m.

Evelyn V. Keller
Evelyn Virginia Keller, 88, of 428 E. Washington St., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 3, 1908, in Strasburg, Va., she was the daughter of the late Hubert L. and Grace Belle Saum Keller.
She was a graduate of Frostburg State College.
She did clerical work for an insurance company and a business college.
She also was a teacher in the public schools in Virginia.
She was a member of First Christian Church, and was active in church work.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert Keller of Hagerstown and Ellsworth Keller of Winchester, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Rogers and Lois Keller; and two brothers, Earl Keller and Chester Keller.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
The Rev. Fred M. Harris and the Rev. Robert L. Regenold will officiate.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
