Della M. Heckman
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Della M. Heckman, 97, of 2219 Letterkenny Road, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at The Shook Home, Chambersburg.
Born Oct. 23, 1899, in the Welsh Run, Pa., area, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Minnie Winger Martin. She lived her early life in Cearfoss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aden E. Heckman, in 1961.
She was a homemaker. She also assisted her husband in the family poultry business.
She was a member of Fourth Street Church of the Brethren, Chambersburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Edna M. Keller of Chambersburg; one sister, Cora Sipes of The Shook Home; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. Pastor Kenneth L. Gibble and the Rev. Charles E. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Pauline C. Summers
BOONSBORO - Pauline Catherine Summers, 90, a resident of Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, and formerly of 413 N. Main St., died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at the home.
Born March 21, 1906, in Frederick County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Larenzo Reeder and Bessie Sigler Reeder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Veniah E. Summers, in 1965.
She retired from the Washington County Board of Education.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Boonsboro.
She was a member of Boonsboro Homemakers Club.
She is survived by one son, Leonard E. Summers of Hagerstown; two sisters, Mary Shifler and Janet Otto, both of Boonsboro; two brothers, Charles Reeder of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Floyd Reeder of Adamstown, Pa.; one granddaughter; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Reeder, Austin Reeder and Robert Reeder.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Joseph I. Donovan III and the Rev. Louis R. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday one hour prior to the services.

Cathleene R. Ardinger
Cathleene R. Ardinger, 44, of 438 W. Franklin St., Hagerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 1910, 1952, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of Anita E. Gaskill Shaw of Westminster, Md., and the late William H. Shaw Sr.
She was a 1971 graduate of Westminster Senior High School. She also was a 1973 graduate of Hagerstown Medical Secretarial School.
She was employed as a care provider by Anita Lynne Home Inc. in Hagerstown for the past nine years.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Roy L. Ardinger; one son, Donald E. Hull of Hagerstown; two stepdaughters, Tina Miller and Leeann Ardinger, both of Hagerstown; one sister, Rhonda L. Shaw of Westminster; five brothers, William H. Shaw Jr. of Pittsburgh, Barry L. Shaw of Frederick, Clarence B. Shaw of Hanover, Pa., Daniel S. Shaw of Westminster, and Allen K. Shaw of New Oxford, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
The Rev. J. Norman Mayer will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Dorothy V. Misner
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Dorothy V. Misner, 88, a guest of Piney Mountain Home since Nov. 7, 1996, and of 4745 Carbaugh Road, Fayetteville, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at the nursing home.
Born June 7, 1908, in South Mountain, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Emma Carbaugh.
She resided in South Mountain all her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem M. Misner, in 1974.
She was employed in the housekeeping department of the Samuel Dixon State Hospital, presently the South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ward One, Chambersburg, Pa.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Imogene Greenwood of South Mountain, whom she resided with, and Brenda Lawrence of Gettysburg, Pa.; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Orville E. Misner and Milton B. Misner; and two brothers, Ira J. Staley and Merry Staley.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, Pa.
Bishop Rodger F. Miller will officiate.
Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain.

Roy A. Lint
Roy Allen Lint, 71, of 20209 Robinwood Court, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 19, 1925, in Adelaide, Pa., he was the son of the late Earl and Irene Lint.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Pearl Lint, in 1982.
He retired from Western Maryland Center as a business administrator.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of Washington Square United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
He was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42; VFW Post 1936; Potomac Fish and Game Club; Elks Lodge, Westminster, Md., and past exalted ruler; and Maryland Bar Association.
He is survived by one sister, Alwilda McClintock of Bethlehem, Pa.; a close friend, Virginia Lefever of Hagerstown; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
The Rev. Harold P. Atkins will officiate.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Military graveside services will be conducted by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., where the Elks Lodge will have a memorial service.

Pauline L. Palmer
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Pauline L. Palmer, 88, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Sept. 5, 1908, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James S. and Minnie Armstrong LeMaster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Palmer, in 1992.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Martinsburg.
She is survived by one son, Richard Stewart Palmer of Martinsburg; one grandson, Shawn Whittington; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Riser and Hilda LeMaster; and one brother, Guy LeMaster.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg.
The Rev. James D. Riley will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Earl Miller
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Earl Miller, 76, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Aug. 11, 1920, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charles and Florence Dorsey Miller.
He retired from Martinsburg Water Department.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Mountainside Tabernacle Church, Martinsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Georgie M. Butts Miller; two sons, Trammell E. Miller of Martinsburg and Roger Lee Miller of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Faircloth and Lucy Faircloth; and three brothers, Thurman Miller, Luther Miller and Charles Miller.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg.
The Rev. Paul C. Stanley and the Rev. Robert Caplinger will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Mary N. Nussear
Mary Norma Nussear, 73, of 1108 Murdock Ave., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1996, at Avalon Manor, Hagerstown.
Born Dec. 8, 1922, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Henry Arthur Nussear and Hilda Irene Nally Nussear Perry.
She was employed by Goodwill Industries.
She was a member of Salvation Army Church in Hagerstown.
She is survived by one brother, Clifton E. Perry of Hagerstown; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a stepfather, Paul Clifton Perry.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Price's Cemetery, Pa. 316, Waynesboro, Pa. Major Samuel VanDenberg will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
