Thomas W. Willis
Thomas Wesley Willis, 76, of 17738 Burnside Ave., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at his home.
Born April 5, 1920, in Castlewood, Va., he was the son of the late Robert K. and Margaret Hawkins Willis.
He was a retired Montgomery County employee.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margie L. Willis; two daughters, Glynis Mercer of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Debra Rogers of Brookville, Md.; two sons, Thomas W. Willis Jr. of Monrovia, Md., and Randy Willis of Germantown, Md.; one sister, Loretta Williams of Bristol, Va.; three brothers, Calvin Willis of Castlewood, Jack Willis of Bristol and Robert Willis of Richmond, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Daris Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, Md.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Audrey L. Park
FANNETTSBURG, Pa. - Audrey L. Park, 62, of Fannettsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at her home.
Born Feb. 7, 1934, in Everett, Pa.; she was the daughter of the late George M. and Lillian Hendersen Woy.
She was a graduate of Everett High School, Everett.
Before her retirement, she was a computer programmer with Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pa.
She was a member of Lower Path Valley Presbyterian Church in Fannettsburg.
She is survived by her husband, O.Ray Park; two daughters, Karen May of Danville, Pa.; and Cheryl Park of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at John L. Agett Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, Pa. The Rev. Ted Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Lower Path Valley Cemetery in Fannettsburg.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to the service.

Lloyd H. Ritter Jr.
Lloyd H. Ritter Jr., 75, of 20025 Gilbert Hills Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at his home.
Born March 18, 1921, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Bessie V. Harbaugh Ritter Sr.
He retired after 36 years as a dispatcher with Western Maryland Railway.
A veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during both wars.
He was a member of the Railroaders Old Timers Club; B.P.O. Elks Lodge 378; American Legion Morris Frock Post 42; AARP; and a former member of the Civil Air Patrol.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Phillips Ritter; two daughters, Carolyn L. Dunne of Hagerstown and Kathleen J. Ahalt of Burkittsville, Md.; two sons, David L. Ritter and Donald P. Ritter, both of Hagerstown; one sister, Betty Tilley of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Robert Ritter of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services are pending the arrival of a relative from overseas. The Rev. Jay Fretz will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

Frank D. Kelley
CANAL FULTON, Ohio - Frank D. Kelley, 87, of the Chapel Hill Community, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996.
Born May 21, 1909, in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward R. and Marian Peter Kelley.
His wife, Elizabeth Maurer Kelley, preceded him in death.
He was a 1927 graduate of McKinley High School in Canton.
He owned Kelley's Studio and Camera Shop in Hagerstown, where he lived until returning to Stark County, Ohio, in 1987.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II as a photographer in France and England.
He was a member of B.P.O.E. No. 378 in Hagerstown.
He is survived by three nieces, Barbara Carroll of Canton, and Janet Davis and Carolyn Lowrie, both of Indiana; three nephews, Pat Kelly and Mike Kelly, both of California, and Richard Davis of Florida; and one niece and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Kelly Davis; and one brother, Robert P. Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Canton.
Friends may call at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Kathleen M. Gunderman
GERRARDSTOWN, W.Va. - Kathleen Margaret Gunderman, 68, of Gerrardstown, died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at her home.
Born Dec. 28, 1927, in Loudoun County, Va.; she was the daughter of the late Charley G. and Bessie Ann Hardy Dodson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Gunderman, in 1989.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret A. Fleener of Gerrardstown; two sons, John F. Spickler of Chapmansboro, Tenn., and Ralph G. Spickler Sr. of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one sister, Pearl Hammond of Texas; four brothers, Jack Dodson of Charles Town, W.Va., Roy Dodson of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; Charles Dodson of Martinsburg, and Donald Lee Dodson of South Carolina; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded n death by one daughter, Patricia Spickler; and three brothers, Buster Dodson, Major Dodson and Clyde Dodson.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Johnny Faircloth will officiate. Burial will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery, Middleway, W.Va.

Ellen L. Babbington
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Ellen Lucille Babbington, 69, of Hedgesville, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Nov. 25, 1926, in Cairnbrook, Pa., she was the daughter of the late David and Louetta Thompson Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Babbington.
She is survived by four daughters, Ellen Lucille Kent of Winchester, Theresa Ann Shultz of Riverdale, Md., Maureen Marie Korns of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Mary Cecilia Babbington of Hedgesville; two sons, James Francis Babbington and Joseph Francis Babbington, both of Hedgesville; three sisters, Mary Beri of Windber, Pa., Dorthuella Klonicke of Somerset, Pa., and Blanche Baker of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers, John Snyder of Massillon, Ohio, and Andrew Snyder of Cleveland; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Frances Babblington; and 10 sisters and brothers.
Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. John V. DiBacco Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.

Jay E. McCleary
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jay Edgar McCleary, 70, of 5717 Cumberland Highway, died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Pa.
Born July 11, 2926, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Milton A. McCleary and Hazel K. McKenzie McCleary.
He was employed as a clerk by Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, retiring in 1983 after more than 40 years of service. He then was employed by J. Frank Faust Junior High School, Chambersburg.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Chambersburg.
He was a member of American Red Cross; Oscar M. Hykes Post 223 American Legion, Shippensburg, Pa.; National Association of Retired Federal Employees 1063, Chambersburg; and a lifetime member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel K. Bishop McCleary, whom he married on June 11, 1946; one daughter, Bonnie E. Maldonado of New Cumberland, Pa.; one son, David E. McCleary of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Jeffrey L. Roth will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. Military graveside services will be conducted by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW.

Irene M. Brindle
FAYETEVILLE, Pa. - Irene M. Brindle, 93, a resident of Piney Mountain, and formerly of Greencastle, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at Piney Mountain.
Born Nov. 11, 1902, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry Benjamin and Media Frantz Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Brindle, in 1965.
She retired in 1965 as a seamstress with the former Stanley Co. in Chambersburg, Pa.
She was a member of Greencastle Church of the Brethren.
She enjoyed crocheting and making afghans.
She is survived by two daughters, Mable Shindle and Jorretta McKibben, both of Greencastle; two sons, Robert T. Brindle and Marvin L. Brindle, both of Greencastle; three sisters, Elsie V. Wishard of Fahrney-Keedy Home in Boonsboro, and Margaret K. Lesher and Lorraine Stine, both of Greencastle; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Robert Thacker and the Rev. Gayle L. Ruble Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in St. Thomas, Pa.
