Jeannetta M.D. Mills
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Jeannetta M. Dull Mills, 75, of 7281 Slabtown Road, died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born July 8, 1921, in the Slabtown Road area of Quincy Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Annie M. Dull.
She worked at South Mountain Restoration Center in the dietary department, where she was a supervisor. She retired in 1978 after 20 years of service.
She was a member of South Mountain Bible Church, where she served as a deaconess for many years.
She is survived by her husband, George H. Mills Sr., whom she married Aug. 3, 1940; one daughter, Betty Sharrah of Waynesboro; two sons, George H. Mills Jr. and Allen L. Mills, both of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. David L. Keener will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Quincy Township, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
E. Maude Routzahn
BRADDOCK HEIGHTS, Md. - E. Maude Routzahn, 101, formerly of 6203 Mountain Church Road, Burkittsville, Md., a resident of Vindabona Nursing Home in Braddock Heights, died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born near Jefferson, Md., May 30, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Julia Bowlus Maught.
Her husband, Clark O. Routzahn, died in 1988.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Burkittsville. She was a member of the Sunday school and many women's organizations of the church.
She is survived by a great-niece, Irene H. Sigler of Middletown; and many other great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Grafton Clark Routzahn; one sister, Mamie R. Guyton; and one brother, Roy A. Maught.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The Rev. George M. Harpel will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Jefferson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime on Tuesday.

John A. Harrington
GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - John A. Harrington, 69, of Great Cacapon, died Saturday, March 8, 1997, at his home.
Born Sept. 23, 1927, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late John A. Sr. and Helen Richardson Harrington.
He was a retired sheet metal worker with Local 100 in Washington, D.C.
He served with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs.
He also was a member of Knights of Columbus, and a fourth degree knight of the Martinsburg Council.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Smith Harrington; four daughters, Nancy Harrington and Margaret Smentkowski, both of Shady Side, Md.; Julie Linkins of Bowie, Md., and Mary Harrington of Crofton, Md.; and two sons, Michael Harrington of Stevensville, Md., and Patrick Harrington of Huntingtown, Md.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs, with the Rev. John S. Ledford as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Md.
A viewing will be held at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Linda S. Brinklow
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Linda Sue Brinklow, 39, of Alexandria, died Friday, March 7, 1997, at Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria.
Born June 3, 1957, in Winchester, Va., she is the daughter of Bessie McDonald Dellinger Boos of Martinsburg, W.Va., and the late Paul Dellinger. She was the stepdaughter of the late Frank T. Boos.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sisters, Pam McNutt and Debbie Alvarez, both of Martinsburg, and Barbara Stratton of Ohio; one brother, Paul Dellinger of Baltimore; maternal grandmother, Lillian L. Rhodes of Stephenson, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Hedgesville Baptist Church. The Rev. Floyd E. Smith will officiate. Burial will be private.

Martha E.M. Matthews
QUINCY, Pa. - Martha E. Mouer Matthews, 79, of Cottage 302A, Quincy Retirement Village, and formerly of Shippensburg, Pa., died Saturday, March 8, 1997, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born May 31, 1917, in Shippensburg, she was the daughter of the late Ewing E. and Nancy J. Eile Mouer.
Her first husband, Earl Suders, died in 1970.
She was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot, starting in February 1942. She retired as a cost and work analyst in August 1974.
She was a member of Quincy United Methodist Church in Quincy.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald C. Matthews, whom she married Sept. 28, 1974; one stepson, Dr. Ronald L. Matthews of Chambersburg; two step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. James C. House will officiate. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

James R. Hudson
HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - James Richard Hudson, 61, of Harpers Ferry, died Saturday, March 8, 1997, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 10, 1935, in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of the late John W. and Mageline Hancock Hudson.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Columbia Excavating.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by three daughters, Lena Hudson of Florida, Ellen Griffin of Gaithersburg, Md., and Sue Hildebrand of Frederick, Md.; two sons, John Hudson of Florida, and Anthony Dwayne Musgrove of Gaithersburg; two sisters, Agnes Hudson and Linda Hudson, both of Florida; two brothers, George Hudson of Illinois and Johnny Hudson of Florida; his life partner, Mary Ellen Lowe, at home; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Flower Hill Church of the Brethren, Muncafter Mill Road, Gaithersburg.

Wilmer C. Thompson
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Wilmer Clayton "Shorty" Thompson, 84, of Charles Town, died Saturday, March 8, 1997, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born May 27, 1912, in Hillsboro, Va., he was the son of the late Eli and Minerva Jones Thompson.
He was employed with Martin Marietta, formerly known as The Standard Lime and Cement Co., retiring after 40 years of service.
He was a member of Charles Town Presbyterian Church, and Yoke Fellows Bible Class. He served as deacon and elder of the church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Josephine J. Jones Thompson; two sons, Richard G. "Dickie" Thompson of Chicago, and Michael D. "Mike" Thompson of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; one sister, Carrie Reynolds of Annapolis; and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Diehl, Sarah Coontz, Ethel Edwards and Betty Jackson; three brothers, Alfred Thompson, Charles Thompson and Grover Thompson; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral in Charles Town. The Rev. Keith Nickle will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Janet L. Dietrich
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Janet L. Dietrich, 70, of Franklin County Nursing Home, and formerly of 649 N. Franklin St., died Sunday, March 8, 1997, at the home.
Born Aug. 6, 1924, in Antrim Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leila Omwick Barnhart.
She worked as a waitress for all of her life, working in numerous restaurants in Hagerstown and Greencastle, Pa.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by two sons, Richard E. Dietrich of Chambersburg, and H. Dean Dietrich, of Mercersburg, Pa.; one sister, Elizabeth Sipes of Mercersburg; one brother, C.J. Barnhart of Quincy United Methodist Home; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
