Gary L. Jessop
Gary Lane Jessop, 52, of 11515 Rock Hill Road, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, in Hagerstown.
Born May 10, 1944, in Williamsport, he was the son of Charles R. "Pete" and Janet M. Garrett Jessop of Williamsport.
He was employed by Duvinage Corp. for 34 years.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis E. Jessop of Hagerstown; one daughter, Julie L. Jessop at home; two sons, Larry L. Jessop of Clear Spring and Staff Sgt. Darren W. Jessop of Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; one sister, Lois M. Taylor of Williamsport; one brother, Charles W. Jessop of Smithsburg; three granddaughters; and 33 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Church.
The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate.
Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport.
The funeral home will be open Thursday after 9 a.m. for the convenience of family and friends.

WILLIAMSPORT - Services for Vivian R. Mowen, 82, of 154 N. Artizan St., Twin Oaks, Williamsport, who died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in All Saints Chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

J. Lynn O'Brien, 82, of Hagerstown, who died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, is survived by one stepdaughter, Anna Belle Meyers of Mercersburg, Pa.; and one stepson, Charles E. Snyder of Mercersburg.

Merle Nelson Swope, 86, of 1105 Rose Hill Ave., Hagerstown, who died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, is survived by one sister, Helen Spiker of Hagerstown.
Jack H. Staubs
Jack H. Staubs, 73, of 521 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 28, 1923, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John H. and Louise Molhouse Staubs.
He was employed by M.P. Moller Organ Co., retiring in 1989 after 35 years.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Belle Eversole Staubs; one daughter, Judy A. Brewer of Hagerstown; one son, David L. Staubs of Fairplay; one sister, Delores Brown of Hagerstown; one brother, Samuel Staubs of New Port Ritchie, Fla.; one half sister, Charlotte Staubs of Baltimore; one half brother, Earl Staubs of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Harper W. Rotz Jr.
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Harper W. Rotz Jr., 56, of 13736 Worleytown Road, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born June 20, 1940, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Catherine E. Klenzing Rotz of Shippensburg, Pa., and the late Harper W. Rotz Sr.
He was employed by London Fog Co., Williamsport.
Previously, he worked at Tracy Fashions, Chambersburg, for 22 years.
He was a member of Shippensburg First Church of God.
He also was a member of American Legion Post 373 Greencastle; a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1758, Waynesboro; and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168, Shippensburg, where he was active in the marching unit.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary E. Kelso Rotz; four daughters, Teresa W. Kyler, Rhoda S. Rotz, and Holly R. Rotz, all of Greencastle, and Michelle D. Deshong of Chambersburg; three sons, Michael A. Rotz and Jeffrey W. Rotz, both of Chambersburg, and James W. Kyler of Greencastle; one sister, Patricia Watson of Shippensburg; two brothers, Robert L. Rotz and Richard A. Rotz, both of Shippensburg; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
The Rev. W. Stanley Darrah will officiate.
Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Greene Township, Pa.
Viewing will be held Friday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Eugene R. Webber
KEEDYSVILLE - Eugene Raymond Webber, 75, of Keedysville, and formerly of Bedford, Pa., died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born April 29, 1921, in Knoxville, Md., he was the son of the late James Graham and Oretta Swope Webber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Eakle Webber, on April 19, 1994.
He retired as a clerk from the B&O Railroad, Cumberland, Md.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II.
He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Bedford, and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Knoxville.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda K. Growden of Westernport, Md., and Pamela M. Wilens of Gaithersburg, Md.; one brother, Malcolm J. Webber of Boonsboro; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Knoxville.
The Rev. George Harpel will officiate.
Burial will be in Reformed Cemetery, Knoxville.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
