Roger L. Brady
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Roger Lee Brady, 94, of Route 1, died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at his home under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born July 26, 1902, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Miller and Virginia Belle Sencindiver Brady.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Small Brady.
He was a dairy farmer, retiring after 60 years.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War I.
He was a member of Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Ethel Brady LeMaster of Charles Town, W.Va., Louise Brady Russell of Middleway, W.Va., Clara Brady Staubs of Ridgeland, S.C., and Barbara Brady Henderson of Kearneysville, W.Va.; three sons, James M. Brady of Berkeley Station, W.Va., Robert L. Brady and Carlton H. Brady, both of Shepherdstown; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one niece.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Vivian Elaine Brady, and three brothers, Roy Lemon Brady, Eugene Madison Brady and James Peter Brady.
Services will be held Monday at 11 am. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
The Rev. Harry A. Grimes and the Rev. Lester A. Kisner will officiate.
Burial will be in New Norborne Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Earl E. Stoey
STATE LINE, Pa. - Earl E. Stoey, 64, of 762 Redwood Drive, died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at his home.
Born Jan. 25, 1933, in Scotland, Pa., he was the son of Edgar L. Stoey of Chambersburg, Pa., and the late Esther M. Deardorff Stoey.
He was employed as a salesman by Fuller Brush Co. and Amway Products.
He retired in 1995 from the Good Humor/Breyer Ice Cream Co., Hagerstown, after 912 years of service.
He attended Grace Bible Church, Greencastle, Pa.
He was a member of the National AARP.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, M. Jane Franklin Stoey; three daughters, Earlene J. Rhinehart and Darlene F. Akers, both of Greencastle, and Sheila S. Martell of Hagerstown; six sons, Carl D. Stoey and Roger L. Stoey, both of Fayetteville, Pa., Randy A. Stoey Sr. of Greencastle, Kevin M. Stoey of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Timothy R. Stoey of Hagerstown and Richard J. Stoey of Waynesboro, Pa.; one brother, the Rev. Richard D. Stoey of Richmond Furnace, Pa.; a granddaughter who resided with him, Jessica M. Stoey; 27 other grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Earl Stoey Jr., in 1984 and one grandson, Zachary Stoey, in 1986.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle.
The Rev. J. Herman Fisler will officiate.
Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWBURG, Pa. - James J. Rzesutock, 82, of 8250 Newburg Road, died Friday, March 28, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born July 25, 1914, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late Michael and Sophie Niziol Rzeszutek.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Rzesutock.
He was employed as a systems analyst by the federal government.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.
He is survived by one niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, Va.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Robert W. Kelley, 63, of 3148 Lincoln Way East, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan L. Rubert, and one sister.
James R. Miller, Jr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - James R. Miller, Jr., 78, of 18 Garber St., died Friday, March 28, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Aug. 17, 1918, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late James R. and Apha Jones Miller, Sr.
He was a 1936 graduate of Fannettsburg High School.
He was employed as a tool and dye machinist apprentice by Chambersburg Engineering.
He was later employed by Fairchild Aircraft Manufacturing, Hagerstown.
He drove trucks out of Chambersburg for Horns Motor Express, retiring in 1980 after 20 years of service.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Chambersburg.
He was a life member of Franklin Fire Co., Chambersburg; Franklin Fire Co., Chambersburg; Charles Nitterhouse VFW, Post 1599; and the Chambersburg Fire Police.
He is survived by his wife whom he married Sept. 26, 1945, Mary Grace Palmer Miller; two sons, Michael L. Miller of Mont Alto, Pa., and Alan R. Miller of Chambersburg; and three granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Weaver.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the First Lutheran Church, 43 W. Washington St., Chambersburg.
The Rev. Karen S. Minnich will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.

Herman E. Beeler
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Herman E. Beeler, 81, of 211-A Elder Ave., died Friday, March 28, 1997, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
Born May 28, 1915, in Lemasters, Pa., he was the son of the late William S. and Etta Zeger Beeler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma I. Monn Beeler, on Feb. 12, 1994.
They were married Aug. 2, 1946.
He was employed for a number of years by the Western Maryland Railroad.
He was the owner and operator of the Pennsylvania Lunch Restaurant, Waynesboro, for 20 years.
He worked for the Civil Engineer Corps in Tionesta, Pa., retiring in 1972 after 12 years of service.
He was a five-year veteran of the U.S. Army who served during World War II in the European Theater.
He was a member of Eagles Club Inc., Waynesboro.
He was associated with the Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda C. Hockenberry; two sisters, Edna Dietrich of Hagerstown and Hazel Blattenberger of Lemasters, Pa.; three brothers, Kenneth Beeler of Wadsworth, Ohio, Marvin Beeler of Lemasters and Donald Beeler of Fort Loudon, Pa.; one granddaughter; one grandson; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn W. Beeler, in November 1984.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
The Rev. Richard L. Thorp will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Quincy Township, Pa.

Dora M.W. Payne
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Dora Marguerette Wilson Payne, 86, of Integrated Health Services of West Virginia, and formerly of Manassas, Va., died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Nov. 12, 1910, in Lignite, N.D., she was the daughter of the late John A. and Olive Sophia Hanson Wilson.
She was employed as a registered nurse in numerous hospitals in the Washington, D.C., area and the American Red Cross.
She was a veteran of the U.S. Army Nurses Corps.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a member of the Virginia and Maryland chapters of the American Nurses Association.
She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private at Arlington National Cemetery.
