William A. Brosious, Jr.
QUINCY, Pa. - William A. Brosious, Jr., 79, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of Lemoyne, Pa., and Vero Beach, Fla., died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at the home.
Born July 29, 1917, in Sunbury, Pa., he was the son of the late William A. and Verna M. Brosious.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rogers Brosious, in May 1989.
He was employed by Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II.
He was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Chambersburg, Pa. He attended church at Quincy United Methodist Home since 1989.
He was a member of the American Legion, Harrisburg, Pa.
He is survived by one sister, Bertha N. Brosious Kerr of Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother, Charles D. Brosious of Chambersburg; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Brosious.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Chaplain C. Albert Guyer will officiate. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, Pa.
Viewing will be held Wednesday from 11 to 11:30 am. at the funeral home.

Donnie C. Barrow
WINCHESTER, Va. - Donnie Calvin Barrow, 31, of Winchester, died Friday, March 21, 1997, as the result of a drowning accident.
Born Sept. 10, 1965, in Jefferson County, W.Va., he was the son of Mary Jackson Barrow of Winchester and the late Harry Calvin Barrow.
He was employed by Marjon Construction Co.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Brittany Barrow of Summit Point, W.Va.; one son, Jason Barrow of Summit Point; six sisters, Faye Kerns of Walkersville, Md., Mae Ballenger of Charles Town, W.Va., Kay Mumaw and Bonnie Smith, both of Thurmont, Md., Connie Knipple of Winchester, and Joyce Walls of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; five brothers, Ronnie Barrow, Sr. of Winchester, Gaye Jackson Barrow of Chambersburg, Pa., Ray Barrow of White Post, Va., Jay Barrow of Inwood, W.Va., and Nay Barrow of Glengary, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Malcolm H. Van de Riet and the Rev. Bruce A. Gray will officiate. Burial will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery, Ridgeway, W.Va.

George W. Kearns, Jr.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - George W. Kearns, Jr., 70, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Sept. 28, 1926, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late George W. Kearns, Sr. and Vallie Mae Wright Kearns.
He was maintenance supervisor at Heartland Nursing Home for 19 years, retiring in 1991. He was formerly employed by Kings Daughters and Washington County hospitals.
He attended Johnsontown Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, M. Juanita Custer Kearns; three sons, Jeffery M. Kearns of Hagerstown, Kevin W. Kearns of Gaithersburg, Md., and Bill Kearns of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one stepdaughter, Debra Miller of Newport News, Va.; three sisters, Mary Keller of Hagerstown, Virginia Judy of Shanks, W.Va., and Dorothy Harrison of Martinsburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, George William Kearns III.
Services will be Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. Pastor Jack Rudy and the Rev. Don Gribble will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Clyde A. Norton
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Clyde A. Norton, 87, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at the home of his son, Ronald, in Inwood, W.Va.
Born July 24, 1909, in Parsonsfield, Maine, he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Mary Wilcox Norton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Dawe Norton.
He retired from DuPont, where he had been a supervisor for 45 years.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by two sons, William E. Norton of Martinsburg and Ronald A. Norton of Inwood; one sister, Esther Osgood of Cornish, Maine; one brother, Lloyd Norton of Gray, Maine; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg. The Rev. Douglas J. Hollida will officiate.

Effie A.M.S. Korrell
ROCKY SPRINGS, Md. - Effie Anna Mary Shank Korrell, 93, of Rocky Springs, died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at Northampton Manor Nursing Home, Frederick, Md.
Born Sept. 14, 1903, in Myersville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Roma L. and Annie Caroline Delauter Shank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gideon Korrell, in 1971.
She was a homemaker.
She was a long-time member of Edgewood Church of God, Frederick.
She was a life member of Women's Christian Service Council and Gambrill Park Homemakers.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary E. Blank and Annabelle L. Masser, both of Frederick; two sons, Charles L. Korrell and Ronald L. Korrell, both of Frederick; two sisters, Virgie DeWitt and Irene Schroyer, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Ralph Shank of Boonsboro; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers, two grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Edgewood Church of God, 8206 Edgewood Church Road, Frederick. The Rev. Duanne L. Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Rocky Springs Cemetery, Frederick.

SHARPSBURG - Russell Edward Grams, 88, formerly of 17724 Taylors Landing Road, died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born Nov. 26, 1908, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late Earl Carlton and Florence Schamel Grams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Virginia McCauley Grams, in 1973.
He was a 1925 graduate of Brunswick High School.
He was employed as a conductor at Union Station, Washington, D.C., retiring in 1973.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Sharpsburg.
He was a member of Local United Transportation Union, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
He is survived by one sister, Talmadge Beacht of Frederick County, Md.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Cleo Grams; and two brothers, Carlton Grams and Calvin Grams.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. Blaine Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in Locust Valley Bible Church Cemetery, near Middletown, Md.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jennifer Renee Culbertson, 11, of 2584 Echo Springs Road, died Monday, April 7, 1997, at her home.
Born May 7, 1985, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Kurt E. and Ann L. Herman Culbertson of Chambersburg.
She was a student at Franklin Learning Center, Chambersburg.
She most recently attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, Chambersburg. She formerly attended Salem United Methodist Church and Scotland United Methodist Church.
She was a member of Franklin County Horsemanship for the Handicapped, Chambersburg, Bible School of the Greenvillage Church of God, and CBM HandiVenture Camp at Camp Joy-El, Greencastle, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, the Rev. James and Margaret V. Daum Herman of Chambersburg; paternal grandmother, Janet Smith Culbertson of Chambersburg; paternal great-grandmother, Erma K. Smith of Chambersburg; paternal great-great-grandmother, Mable Jones of Shook Home, Chambersburg; paternal stepgreat-grandfather, Paul Eberly of Chambersburg; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Carl E. Culbertson; and paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Eberly.
Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Harold E. Posey will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

Anna S. Warrenfeltz
FUNKSTOWN - Anna Susan Warrenfeltz, 97, of 6 E. Baltimore St., died Monday, April 7, 1997, in Smithsburg.
Born Feb. 25, 1900, in Bakersville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Newton and Carrie Iseminger Warrenfeltz.
She was a seamstress.
She was a life member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown, where she was the organist for 50 years.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by five nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Thomas L. Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Funkstown Cemetery.
