Robert F. Stoner
QUINCY, Pa. - Robert F. Stoner, 82, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 715 Stouffer Ave., Chambersburg, Pa., died Monday, April 7, 1997, at the home.
Born Jan. 18, 1915, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Lewis and Mary E. Sigler Stoner.
He was employed by the former Capital and Valley Pride Baking Co. in Chambersburg for 34 years. He later was employed as a custodian at Scotland School for Veterans Children for 10 years, retiring in 1983.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. He also was a member of Burtons Men's Bible Class.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Downey Stoner, whom he married on June 1, 1941; one daughter, Jane Rotz of Chambersburg; one sister, Mary L. Geiman of Chambersburg; one brother, Ralph Stoner of Chambersburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Stoner and Leona Elder; one brother, Melvin Stoner; and an infant great-grandson.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

Horace F. Bonebrake
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Horace Fred Bonebrake, 88, of 902 Williamson Road, died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at his home.
Born April 14, 1908, in Franklin County, Pa., he was the son of the late Jacob and Lucy Wilda Hahn Bonebrake.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thressa Mae Etter Bonebrake, on Dec. 29, 1982. They were married on Oct. 13, 1928.
He was employed as a crane operator for New York Central Iron Works, Hagerstown, retiring in June, 1972, after 44 years of service. Following retirement, he worked part-time for the Greencastle Veterinary Association for several years.
He was a member of Hade's Church of the Brethren where he taught Sunday school and led the singing for many years.
He served on the Brown's Mill Cemetery Association.
He is survived by five daughters, Patricia A. Fisher and Delores J. Neuroth, both of Chambersburg, Pa., Sandra L. Beaver, Barbara M. Smith and Sharon S. Luchs, all of Greencastle; seven sons, Jack F. Bonebrake, Eugene L. Bonebrake, Larry J. Bonebrake, Donald R. Bonebrake and Richard D. Bonebrake, all of Greencastle, Ronald F. Bonebrake and Rodney L. Bonebrake, both of Mercersburg, Pa.; one sister, Lucille W. Talhelm of Greencastle; 32 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Alvin Everets; four sisters; and five brothers.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Hade's Church of the Brethren, Hade's Church Road, near Clay Hill, Pa. Brother Dean E. Gearhart and Brother George H. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Brown's Mill Cemetery, Kauffman Station.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich-Miller-May Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle.

Laura A. Litzinger
NEW OXFORD, Pa. - Laura A. Litzinger, 81, of Robinson Home for the Aged, New Oxford, died Monday, April 7, 1997, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
Born July 19, 1915, in Patton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Winfield Scott and Rozella T. Maguire Merrill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Litzinger.
She was a graduate of Patton High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Walko of Vista, Calif.; one son, Fred Litzinger Jr. of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Ida Cahoe of Greencastle, Pa., and Leona Zumovitch of Patton; seven grandchildren; four nieces; and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Meyers Cemetery, Mercersburg Road, near Welsh Run, Pa. The Rev. Glen A. Miller will officiate.
Viewing will be held Thursday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle.
Evelyn M. Copenhaver
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Evelyn Marietta Copenhaver, 78, of Martinsburg, died Monday, April 7, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Aug. 18, 1918, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry Allen and Nellie Keesecker Butts Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Blaine Copenhaver, whom she married on Nov. 24, 1933.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She also was a member of Chapter 738, Women of the Moose.
She is survived by two sons, Blaine Donald Copenhaver and Douglas E. Copenhaver Sr., with whom she lived, both of Martinsburg; a close friend, Billy O'Roke of Martinsburg; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harry A. Butts Jr.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Bertha M. Robertson
HEDGESVILLE, Md. - Bertha Marie Robertson, 72, of Hedgesville, died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at her home.
Born Sept. 16, 1924, in Listie, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Margaret Ross Snyder.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold R. Robertson; two daughters, Genevieve Aldridge of Taneytown, Md., and Anna Fisher of Alabama; two stepsons, Arnold Robertson of Chambersburg, Pa., and Peter Robertson of England; one sister, Sidney Hevener of Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Savannah Nale.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Allensville Cemetery.

Peggy A. Clark
Peggy Ann Clark, 67, of 13636 Paradise Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, April 7, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 6, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Kathleen Bowers Lambros.
She retired from Fairchild Aircraft.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin L. Clark; two sons, James E. Clark of Rockville, Md., and David L. Clark of Hagerstown; two sisters, Veneta V. Lambros of Bethesda, Md., and Phyllis Shifler of Boonsboro; two nieces; and two nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Michael P. Myers
FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Michael Preston Myers, 31, of 156 Broadview Court, died Monday, April 7, 1997, in a traffic accident on Interstate 81 in Washington County.
Born June 28, 1965, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Preston L. and Helen Kain Myers of Hagerstown.
He was a 1938 graduate of Smithsburg High School. He was a 1988 graduate of Musician Institute of California.
He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church, Marlowe, W.Va.
He was a professional musician. He was employed by Food Lion.
He was a runner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cindy E. Myers; two daughters, Michele McKinley and Mellisa McKinley, both of Hagerstown; one son, Kristifer McKinley of Falling Waters; one sister, Teresa Myers of Oceanside, Calif.; paternal grandmother, Doris Mateer of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and one niece.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Harmony United Methodist Church, Marlowe, W.Va. The Rev. Donald J. Gribble will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Minnie G.H. Heefner
QUINCY, Pa. - Minnie Gertrude Haugh Heefner, 98, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Monday, April 7, 1997, at the home.
Born July 6, 1898, in Shade Gap, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Agnes Mort Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren L. Haugh, in 1943. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ervin Heefner, in 1947.
She did domestic work and baby-sitting for various families in the area.
She was a member of Otterbein United Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro.
She is survived by six daughters, Mary M. Bakner, Catherine G. Triesh and Martha M. Sanders, all of Waynesboro, Beatrice I. Barnes of Chambersburg, Pa., Dorothy Pague of Mont Alto, Pa., and Geneive E. Feterline of Frederick, Md.; three sons, Marshall L. Haugh of Hagerstown, Lewis H. Haugh of Waynesboro and Lloyd L. Haugh of Winter Haven, Fla.; 32 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 68 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by infant son Leroy Haugh, in 1934; and 15 sisters and brothers.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Michael V. Newman will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
